Saw Chris the mechanic/technician, who answered all my questions, great guy, extremely knowledgeable, and busy. Asked about an alignment for a vehicle, as he went out of his way last time, to give me a great alignment on another vehicle. Chris does AWESOME work, and never fails to impress! Great place to go!

Stop and read this review! Before I tell this story I want to say we ve used their service department for years. Chris is always friendly and gets the jobs done as quick as they can. Now to the debacle you see below.As you can see from the picture a 5 gallon bucket of almost full paint spilled in the back of my car. When I discovered this I literally got tears in my eyes and freaked out. While my husband was scooping the paint out (I m not joking, it ran down underneath the seats and covers in the back and pooled there) I called Von Glahn Auto and talked to Chris who responded, just bring it out ASAP and we ll see what we can do. When I got there his co-worker (I didn t catch his name, I apologize!) got right to work spraying down anything that was removable . He made no promises but I was happy they were willing to try. When we came back at the end of the day I was blown away!!!! You can see the end result. I can t recommend Chris & his team at Von Glahn enough. This is the 3rd car we ve bought here and we ll keep going back because of their service, honesty and great attitudes.Services: Auto detailing, Auto interior vacuuming

They did a great job on my cat, explaining things and suggesting work that will need to be done (195,000 miles, it needs some work...all maintenance). I'll go back again.

Absolutely the best experience I have ever had getting maintenance done on my vehicle. They were fast, friendly and there were no surprises. I had a great experience with this shop, they were professional, fast, and very clear with estimated costs.I called and spoke with Chris because my vehicle wasn't starting, gave him my best guess at what was wrong, and asked for a tow. He arranged to have my vehicle towed, but sent one of the guys from the shop to see if they could get my vehicle started first. And they did! They saved me the ~$80 towing fee.Chris called me again about a couple hours later and told me the problem, gave me a few options, and worked with me when I said I was on a tight budget.Highly recommend this business.For people with phone anxiety: When I called, the call quality was good, no background noise, Chris doesn't have a discernable accent, and he spoke clearly. I'd never called for this kind of service before and he helped navigate my needs and asked direct, easy to answer questions.

Shannon was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He did everything he could to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. It's too bad there aren't more places like this in Madison where I'm from. I would definitely go back to Von Glahn in Platteville for another used car. Totally worth the trip.

Went there so they could fix the gauges on my 03 gmc. I was quoted $350 for the shipping and repair of the gauges, was only charged $10 for them to take it out and put it back in, a total of $360. Any where else would have charged me $400 easily. Highly recommend Von Glahn, they have 3 or 4 bays so they can get your vehicle in and out rather quickly and they know what they are doing. Like I said with my gauges, Chris was able to tell me what the problem was over the phone. That's how good they are. Any more troubles I WILL be going back to these se guys.

The guys there are amazing we take over vehicles there to get an alignment and they re so wonderful and funny and they show you how to do certain things if you have a question on a vehicle wonderful people

Great place to buy vehicles at a affordable price. They have such great Hospitality and service I recommend this place to anyone. They have excellent mechanics. If you are looking for a place to buy our get work done I definitely recommend this place.
