ZERO STARS. Avoid this place at all costs!! This has been the most unprofessional experience of my 30 year career in the trucking industry. Loren and his wife were extremely rude and hung up the phone several times when asked for details on billing. Loren promised to do work that he had no intent to deliver on. We were charged over and above normal cost. Our unit was towed against our approval and held for ransom. There are other reputable companies in the area!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. My car was towed here after an accident, which was only 10 MINUTES from the accident site and I was charged $637. RIDICULOUS. Then I had went to grab some things out of my car and the owner was immediately rude and disrespectful to me and continued to tell me I had an attitude and tried to justify the $637 towing fee by telling me I was wrong about the distance to the accident site. Then followed me to my car and questioned what I needed and continued to be rude. DONT GO HERE. Would give zero stars if I was able.

The worst experience that I have ever had. The owner is so rude and sick person. They towed my truck and didn t fix it at all. However, they charged $1548.75. They charged for three and half hours as a labor when they had done almost nothing. The worst place ever and I don t recommend anyone to have a business with them. Please, don t get trapped by them.

Worse experience i have ever had . towed by the tire and made it worse and the owner was very rude and demanded cash payment even when we had insurance . he said he needed the cash or he would tow it to his yard and then we would be charged more . his wife was no better she also was so rude no wonder my step sin quit working for him and alsi another friend used ti tow for him and tild me loren takes the cash payment and also charges the insurance lorna is a scam guy

The police called them to tow my car after it was hit by a drunk driver and the driver did not speak to or acknowledge us the entire time. When asked where he was taking my car he said "my yard". I told him I wanted it taken elsewhere and he said I would need to pay him right now if I wanted it taken anywhere else. I was already having the worst day because of this event and his treatment was just the cherry on having my car totaled due to no fault of my own. Would never recommend them to anyone unless you enjoy being talked to like your garbage.

Beware of these people they are robber.I called for road service to change and the starter of my truck and specially mention to bring starter to change it. Mechanic came without starter and told my driver he cant change here and he tow my truck to shop. next day when my driver went to pickup the Truck they charged in $2000 for just changing the starter. I paid the bill to release the truck, when i saw the bill they charged me $450 road call and $600 for starter, The starter cost is $240 at dealer near this shop. i called back and ask about road call charged and wrong starter price and they start arguing and i try to explain invalid road call charges and price up. He Reversed the $2000 and went behind my driver and tow my truck again and then called me that he need$2500 cash to release the truck.Don't use this business.

Got called by my condo people to tow the car off the driveway cuz they were sealing it. My ex told them they could just keep the car for scrap price thinking then we wouldn't owe a tow bill. Wrong they billed us $125 for towing 3.6 miles and getting to keep the car.

Over priced and rude. He towed my car by the tire breaking the axle and nearly ripping of the tire in the process. Do not go through Lorens. Ask for anywhere else.

The cops called this place after my car broke down in the middle of the road (not blaming them). My dad had called this place multiple times to find out what the mechanics had done to my car, sense we re from Illinois, and the employees here REFUSED to disclose any information they had done to my car. Nobody seemed to know anything about what happened to my car. I also had to find out from reviews that there is a $50 holding fee per day, which we were not notified ahead of time (which is illegal). When my dad and I came up to get the car, we were expecting the price to be $125 as that is what we were told on the phone. Once we got there Loren told us the price was $288. My dad simply asked why the price increased and Loren aggressively crumpled up a piece of paper, threw it, and told us the price was now $600 because of the holding fee. This is quite illegal and this place is a scam. The cops were called because of this. We also never got a receipt, a list of repairs, and price estimates for anything.Services: Car towing, Auto maintenance

The day after Thanksgiving, disabled on the hwy. There within 15m, offering a tow to the local dealership. Being from out of town I agreed that was the best idea. Driver chimed in saying "we can fix that today." I immediately took that option over the potential cost of a dealership. We go directly to their yard which is exactly what I could of imagined. A yard, full of vehicles all years makes shapes & sizes. In my experience seeing that is simply reassurance that they know exactly what they're doing. We were given the best accommodations they could, a comfy spot out of the cold. The kicker is, the dealership I could have gone to didn't even have the part when they called, neither did the 2nd or 3rd parts delivery. The boys at Loren's got it done doing more than I'm sure I noticed. The work & customer service I received from them, I honestly couldn't have asked for more. Thanks gentlemen, until we meet again....hopefully under different circumstances. Services: General repairs & maintenance, Car towing

If the police try to call this crook, do yourself a favor and tell the officer that you refuse using him. He will overcharge you for the tow, will make up fees like a broken winch and charge you for it, if you get towed to one of his trash dump businesses then he will charge you $50 per day without telling you that. When you try to get ahold of him you'll have trouble getting him on the phone just so he can rack up more storage fees.Service: Car towing

This owner is a scam. I questioned the price of a less than 5 mile tow, charged almost 500. He then proceeded to say he could charge 1000 and there is nothing I could do about it. He then refused to give me my car, saying he was going to charge additional fees.

Stay away!! This place completely screwed over my parents! They needed a tow after having an issue on the freeway and we live out of town. This was the towing company the Oshkosh Police called for him....no idea why the Police would use this company!! The mechanics kept saying they couldnt get to his car to work on it. However, they charged my dad a $50 storage fee, without his knowledge, every day the car was there. They fixed nothing on the car and after a week ended up saying it would not be worth fixing the car because it is an older car. They charged my parents $600 for storage, a diagnostic test, and towing it 10 miles. The receipt was hand written on a piece of paper. We hired our own towing company, friends of the family, to go get the car and these mechanics ran their mouth about how bummed they were that my parents were picking up their car because they were hoping to use it for parts on other cars. They said they plan to open up a salvage yard in the future- the lot already looks like it is one. We would have been better off towing the car all the way back to Milwaukee rather than having it sit at this joke of a company!

Best advice to anyone needing a tow is to find another tow company and not even entertain the idea of thinking this place is legitimate. You'd be better off being stuck on the side of the road and getting help from a complete stranger. The owner is very rude and makes up hidden costs to take as much money as possible. My truck broke down and the cops called him for a simple tow to his shop and I was quoted the outrageous price of $125 for the service being less than a mile away. He then wouldn't allow me to pick up my vehicle until 2 days later and charged me $150 for 3 days of storage fees when my vehicle was there for less than 48 hours. At the end I paid nearly $300 to get my vehicle and if I didnt he wouldn't release my keys! He said he was charging me the storage fee because I wouldn't allow him to work on my vehicle. Complete crook and absolute terrible business overall. If it wasnt for ripping people off on a daily I'm sure the doors would shut on his shop. Trust the reviews...Stay away!

I can not even begin to explain how horrible this place is. I wish there was a way to get the police department in Oshkosh to stop using their services. I was charged $971.25 to have my car towed, and stored for over a week. The had done no work, nor ordered parts because they stated ' my car was so old that they no longer manufacture these parts.' Load of bull as I brought is elsewhere and had it fixed in less than a week. They were waiting to take salvaged parts off whatever junk they had sitting around. Bunch of scammers who are trying to get money for doing absolutely nothing.

Couldn t figure out how they fixed the car, only to break it more and make us pay more in the end. They didn t even identify what the issue in the car was, every time we called it would just be the same I don t know check back later . Do NOT let them tow your car

Not one to beat a dead horse but dude is a real scumbag. Demanded 2 days in starage charges in the first 24hours and twice what a reasonable tow company would charge for a five mile tow. After I paid his outragous demands he refused to help me get it off his property so a real buisnessman could get to it. Dont know how he is still in buisness at this point. One look at his junkyard and you can see for yourself the kind of person he is.

My daughter in law got into a accident and oshkosh police called Loren. She was given the wrong address by the owner on where to pick up her belongings. After several phone calls and a run around we were given the right place. NO ONE WAS THERE car was not secure and anyone could go in and pick through it. Unprofessional and lazy

Absolute worst. We were in an accident, had change in the car in the middle console saving up for a trip. Accident was on a busy road and had to be towed quickly. When we went back to our car to get our stuff, over $50 of change we had stored was stolen from our car. Awful.

This man is beyond a crook he is rude and wicked he towed my car the fixed it without my knowledge on a part I had a warranty though another company when I told him I was on ssi and didn t have 700 to give him he refused to work with me on taking payments he then put a lien on my car for another 2000!! DO NOT USE HIM he will rip you off especially if you re a woman

My friend who is a tow truck driver arrived first on the scene today to tow a vehicle however a driver from lorens arrived to try and take the vehicle instead while my friend was standing in front of the vehicle the lorens driver backed into him to try and hook up to vehicle causing him to have severe concussion and is currently in mercy hospital in a neck brace

Loren s is why tow truck operators get a bad name. Didn t even have a properly charged jump box. Terrible service even worse human being.
