Had my SUV detailed here and am completely pleased with the result. The owner is a very pleasant and personable person who worked hard to present me with a vehicle that was cleaner than the day I bought it.I will be returning in the future. Let me also mention that the service price was moderate and consistent with similar services.

I had my oil changed and the tires rotated this past week at Lakeview Auto.I will never go anywhere else!! These guys work on your vehicle as though it was their own. The care and detail that was put into my VW was wonderful.Some reviews say that they work mostly on older cars, but mine is a 2023.If they have a question, you can be sure that they will connect with you before moving forward. If research needs to be done, it is done before it is addressed.A family owned business that takes great pride in their work...and you can tell:)Thank you for your impressive knowledge and thorough service.The very best!Family owned and operated by two of the most honest, friendly handsome (yes!) young men.They are professional hard working team.They are always busy, but able to get you in if it's an emergency.They are thorough and proactive in letting you know what if there's an upcoming concern.I recommend Lakeside Auto to everyone! You will be happy you made the choice.

I just changed my 5 star review to 1.. after 3 years of great service and around $8000 I paid for repairs, Kurt has copped an attitude.His son Derrick has always been awesome to work with, but Dad apperantly doesn't like my business. I'll admit I brought some rather laborious jobs in, but isn't that what an auto repair shop is supposed to embrace? Rude on the phone. Didn't get back to me when I tried the website system. Ripped on my car model . It might be time for retirement.

I can not say enough good things about Kurt at Lake View Auto Center. I purchased a SUV from him yesterday and the whole experience was extremely positive. Kurt was very professional, helpful, friendly and just a genuinely good guy all around. If you have the opportunity to give him your business-do it! You won't regret it. My husband works for a big dealership in town (not naming names) and we were not happy with the customer service we were given, hence the reason we looked elsewhere to take our business and I'm sure glad we did. Thanks again Kurt, for the best car buying experience I've ever had!

My daughter purchased a van from Lakeview Auto yesterday and what a positive experience it was. The vehicle was properly cleaned and inspected and necessary repairs were made prior to putting it for sale. Derek is a very professional guy, he takes the time to answer questions and show you the vehicle features and treats you with respect. Although we have never had them service our vehicles yet I'm sure that experience will be top notch as well. Great job Derek! it's good to know there are still honest people out there in the car business. Thanks again!

Honest, kind, compassionate. Three words I really like being able to use while describing a mechanic. As a bonus, the owner has adorable grandchildren he enjoys talking about.

Great service and great people! I've taken my car multiple times for different things and felt they were very professional, reasonably priced, accommodating, and didn't suggest service that wasn't needed. Definitely recommend.

I have nothing but good things to say about these guys. It is a family owned business that deals in older, high mileage cars. Most are around $5,000. A year ago I bought my son a Cobalt there, and it has had zero problems. I was going to buy a different car, but the owner was very up-front and honest about it. He wanted to make sure we were happy. They were thorough about checking out our car and fixing things before selling it to us. Nice little shop. Nice people. If my son cracks up this car, I will shop there again.

You will not do better anywhere else!!! If you're looking for a car to buy or need service, this is the place! Very fair and honest! I bought a 2007 Maxima here. The car is on such great shape and whatever it needed they changed out prior to offering it for sale. Kudos to Derek and Kurt for being such great business men and humans!! Need service go here! Need to buy a car? Go here!!!

Straightforward and and didn't try to fix anything else. He gave me an estimated quote to fix my brakes and came out to be that amount. Brakes were fixed properly. Also one of the few repair shops in town to provide a loaner vehicle, which helped me tremendously. I recommend and will be back for any more repair for my vehicles.

This is my 3rd vehicle (2 cars and a moped) I have bought from Lake View Auto since 2005. Kurt Johnson, owner, has proven to be a straight shooter, with a good sense of humor...the two most important qualities I look for in any business sales . The vehicles are/were in top shape, and his prices on each were fair, reasonable, and low. Have dealt with his adult son Derek, and have found him to be like his Dad. This is a 3rd gen business...Stan Johnson Auto in the 1950's-80's. As good as there is for sales and service in the area, with a good human touch.

Wont take our vehicles anywhere else. The owner is very nice and doesn't try to lure you into more work then what is asked or needed. Price is very reasonable and competitive with other auto shops

I have been to this place in the past for work on an older car with good results. I went to have another older car looked at for a problem & was told it belonged in a junkyard, could not be fixed. I already knew the car was in bad shape but their attitude about it was very rude. The (owner?) just dismissed me without offering advice or suggesting I look at cars on the lot. I was kicked to the curb. I won't go there again, & I certainly won't buy a car from them.

My daughter bought her first car there and the experience was great. They treat you like family.Awesome service too. Whatever her car needed they were there to help her. Absolutely recommend to buy from them and service your vehicle.

I can't even begin to tell you what an amazing blessing this company is and has been to me since I started going to them... A company you can trust!! You may pay a tiny bit more but it's because they buy the best parts that you can get! Don't make a mistake take the vehicle to the best in town - take it to Lake View Auto Center!!

I love this place, and when you have to get mechanical work you re never happy about (meaning your car is not doing well) lake view they are upfront and they get the job done in a timely manner

I would not recommend this shop to my worst enemy. I went in for an alignment and was told the work could not be done because of the spring height and when I told them I did not think this was the issue they became rude and very condescending. I later found out from The Auto Authority alignment shop there was a broken rivet in the crossmember and movement between the crossmember and the frame causing the problem. In my opinion this shop is beyond incompetent and I wonder how low the ASE certification standards are to certify a shop like this.

Went here for repairs and had them do the work. I should have known better, as they were not upfront that they provide NO WARRANTY for their work...what so ever. Buyer beware, make sure they express they stand by their work. And remember, I said nothing about the parts... it is their work, morals, values and erhics. I will let their own statement, on the bottom left of their invoices speak for itself.

Thanks for getting me in for the front brake job. While they may need a tad adjustment as I have to push down a lot to get the car to stop, it's nice to not have to jerk to a stop. It's nice to have found a place that is so close by to home.

Kurt is trustworthy and knows his stuff- I have gone here for over 13 years and never had a bad experience. And neither have the tons of people I have referred over the years!

It's an alright place. But just like the dealerships that occupied it before, overpriced for the used cars they sell and for the market in the area. I would be concerned about the repairs being done to get those vehicles on the road from auction.

I've never experienced such a rude experience in my life. I was disrespected and laughed at. I would never recommend this place for anyone that believes in dictatorship because the owner literally calls himself a dictator
