A friend of mine recommended this shop as being affordable and trustworthy. My car needed some expensive repairs and I was looking for a good mechanic. I felt good about this place from the moment I walked in the door. They were very professional and polite, and took time with me to explain what they were going to do, and they answered all the questions I had. I had shopped around and they not only did great work on my car, but did a full inspection for free. The final cost was the most affordable I had found around town. I also like the fact that they re open later for those of us who work full-time. I m glad I found this place and I will be going back.

I love this place! Driving across country my wheel bearing and three lug bolts decided to give up. Once I was able to get towed to Automotive Specialists Devon took a look at my car and got to work. He was up front with all the costs and time frame it would take to get it done. I had to get a hotel over night since it was already late afternoon. Devon hooked me up with a ride to the hotel! This is customer service at it's BEST! I've never had that anywhere else in the U.S. He got my vehicle in asap and got it finished early the next morning to get me on the road again. I'm so thankful!

Excellent costumer service. They are very helpful and honest. Whenever I have needed to fix my family's cars they have been there to help us. I have taken my cars to other places in Oshkosh but none like this. I recommend them to everyone. Thanks guys in special to Devon

I have been a customer for many years at Automotive Specialists. Today's experience with my 1999 Jeep needs were so professionally taken care of and then some. Caring and skilled staff and their technology and communication is great too.

I'd give them 10 stars. Did my motor swap. Devin is Awesome and spent alot of time going over every option n what was the best way n they did a outstanding job. Customer service like this is hard to find. My new mechanics n my family's I'm sending there. Not saying it was cheep but you get what you pay for and I got a great job with warranty so I feel I got a deal. Great place.

Took a vw golf in to get timing belt replaced. Cost me 1300 bucks only to get it back and have it misfire on 2 cylinders only 5 minutes later. Immediately took it back and was promptly told that since it happened after it left the lot that it was my fault somehow. Recently traded it to someone on marketplace after spending a month or so without a vehicle trying to figure out the issue. Guy i sold it to just told me that the misfire was cause by the timing being off by a tooth.Waste of money and time. Do not take your car there if you want the job done properly. They will blame you for any mistakes. They messed up my friends tune as well and blamed him and still charged him for it.Honestly seems like the only reason they get any business is cuz they are one of the few shops thatll touch euro cars. In response to the recent reply by the business i will clarify that i refused to have them look at it due to the fact i wouldve been charged a small fortune for them to do so. This pretty much solidifies my statement of them pushing blame onto customer no matter the situation

Such terrible service. I posted what happend to me and owner Brian was quick to respond to me with his negative attitude. My money payed for the part, the labor, and the fixes. There fore it is my money and when I asked for it back he wanted to tell me no. He wanted tp tow my car for 86 dollars, or send employees to my house tp jump start it. But im sure he would charge me to look at it even after jump starting me jist like all his negative reviews say. Im not the only one this happened to. So i recomend not taking your car here, and if you do get ready to call the better business bureau. Or other wisconsin baser services that investigate these very issues. All i have to say about it.

Very friendly service explained exactly how much my alignment was off and after multiple shops turned me down for a BMW alignment they didn t and they were very affordable would highly recommend this shop thanks again guys

Called a couple other shops for a transmission swap automotive specialist gave me the lowest quote while other shops were over charging if you want a honest mechanic this is the place to go

Brian and his team are outstanding to work with! I brought my daughter's Mini Cooper to Automotive Specialists (from Sheboygan) for some preventive maintenance work (timing chains) as well as the replacement of the heater, and an oil consumption issue. They were very responsive and had excellent communication throughout the entire process. For what I had done to it the price was outstanding compared to other places. I'm in the automotive industry and would HIGHLY recommend Brian and Automotive Specialists to anybody that needs work done to their vehicle.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Battery, Oil change

My car broke down at midnight and AAA towed it to this shop. In one business day they were able to diagnose, and repair my radiator (full replacement), air intake hoses, and serpentine belt. My old lunk now gets better mpg and runs cooler. Thanks guys for saving my rental costs!

My car was completed messed up whenever I would steer it. I went to Automotive Specialists as a friend recommended it. I was charged for 4 hours and $400 of diagnostic work for them to tell me I had bad alternator/battery. That should have been the first thing that was checked based on what my car was doing.Then when we questioned how that could possibly take 4 hours to find out, Seaman raised his voice, gave us an attitude, and told us about how expensive his equipment costs.Exceptionally bad service, and we feel completely robbed. Go somewhere else for your auto repairs.Service: Battery

I took my truck in initially after it stalled several times. My check engine light came on and I took it to them. They repaired a few things but I ended up having the same problem just a couple days later. They were unable to detect any problems with it, which I understand that it needs to act up in order for them to find the problem. I am just think it is crazy that I was charged $115 when no work has been done to the vehicle the second time I brought it in. I am still here with my initial problem and a little over $300 spent.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Had engine repair work done on my son's 1998 Mercury. My husband called late on a Friday afternoon. Mark said to bring it in. He looked at it and give us a call before they closed. Mark had the vehicle back to us by Monday before they closed. He had 5 hours of labor on my son's car. Paid the exact amount that we were quoted. Car runs great. We will definitely be back. Fast and friendly service.

They did a good job. Took 2 hours to do a front wheel alignment not sure what alignment rack they use but usually takes 45mins-1hr to do a front wheel alignment with no inconvenience during the job. Either way they got the job done. I'd recommend them if you have time to wait. 4 stars.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

We were visiting from out of town, of course, that is when the check engine light comes on. They were able to get us in quickly and repairs made. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
