After my daughter enrolled at UW-O, I sought out reviews for local auto shops and settled on Auto Authority. The staff there was truly exceptional, and they provided a clear breakdown of the estimate. However, when I received the final price, I was taken aback it was far higher than expected. Deciding to seek a second opinion, I was astounded to find another shop offering nearly three times lower for the exact same services. While Auto Authority may offer quality service, it's not the best option if you're looking to avoid draining your wallet.

As a younger woman, I ve been going to Auto Authority for 8 years and they re the only people I trust to give me an honest and fair price. They send you a link to a courtesy inspection of your car before they do any work, call to explain the errors their device read, and don t pressure you to fix everything at once - only offering their expert advice. Missy, Joel, and Brian are all awesome people! Definitely recommend Auto Authority.

Incredible service. Price has always come out lower than quoted.Also, called them on a Wednesday before Christmas. Had my car back by Thursday. Incredible turn around in such a short and busy time of year.Big fan of their inspections and attention to detal. They also won't screw you over by trying to nickle and dime you. Would highly recommend

Auto Authority has been nothing but wonderful for me and my Prius. Their detailed inspection reports with photos is unmatched, and it makes me feel so comfortable that they are doing work that is needed and not just trying to upsell on services. They ve also done great work on 2 Subaru s and have kept one Subaru still running at 140,000 miles. There very honest and good at what they do. Stop going when I bought my car in 2016. Dealership is real disappointing now so I'm coming back to Auto. There the best at what they do.

Had the death triangle appear on my daughters Toyota Prius.Drove to the dealership and 3 days later they finally gave us an estimate. Fortunately for us our nieghbor gave us Auto Authorities information, we moved the car to them on a monday evening, by 9 am on Tuesday we had a detailed explaination of what was needed and the cost. We picked the car up on that Friday, complete and done at almost half the cost of the dealership with a few extra items taken care of.I highly recommend Auto Authority, as they were up front, honest, great communicators. The cost becomes secondery after finding this kind of service these days.

I got a collision estimate 2 hours after I picked up my car and they said it's a total loss/undrivable, so I'm unsure why this place even completed the oil change and tire replacement on it if even in the report it was noted there were issues with the coolant leaking and the radiator fan hitting. I would have rather they call me and tell me the drivability-breaking issues before they do the jobs.Plus the fact that my cabin filter was taken out for pics and put back in with leaves all in it that I had to get the leaves out myself and have the mechanic use an air hose to blow out the dirt when that should have been what was done in the first place rather than leave it dirty to try to get me to buy a new one. I know a lot of mechanics will put dirt and leaves on the filter, themselves, so I'm unsure if that also happened, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did here.The desk staff was cold to me, didn't seem at all happy to help me, and one called to angrily tell me the shuttle was waiting outside for me, and then hung up on me. I was often put on hold so that they could check something for me, and then after a while, someone else would pick up and answer as if I was just calling just now, so I'd have to reexplain what I'm asking for.The only person I felt was genuinely happy to help me and do right by me was the shuttle driver, and maybe the mechanic who took an air hose to my cabin filter, but I'm unsure if he was the one who put it back full of leaves in the first place.I also thought my tires would have their proper PSI afterwards, but one was low.

When I call, the person on the other end is very nice and polite and accommodating to my schedule. I work at a local business and they come and get my vehicle and drop it off when they are done. They also inform me of any future work that may be needed such as breaks, tires, belts with no pressure. Prices are very competitive and fair. Great customer service! I took my car to Tires Plus before hand and they tried to charge me $5k in "recommended service" and refused to do the alignment I had already paid for before doing the alignment. So instead I came to Auto Authority for a second opinion. They did an inspection on my car before doing the alignment too. They said everything was in good condition and did the alignment with no problems. I super appreciate them not giving me the run around trying to take advantage of people. On top of that they gave me a ride to and from home while they worked on my car so I wouldn't have to wait there. Lastly they were willing you give a military discount and a bunch of freebies for being a new customer!

Excellent service as always. Very friendly and always take time to chat with you. Staff genuinely cares about people. Very patient in answering my questions. Always truthful straight up info. Very thorough in everything they do. Good feeling to know I can stop or call anytime if I have a question or concern.Recommend them to anyone looking for a good, honest and fair mechanic. They diagnosed a VERY tricky intermittent problem I've had for about a year. A big dealer told me they couldn't find the problem after throwing some parts at it. Very impressed with the skills at this shop. Will take my cars back when needed.Update 7-13-19Fixed the airbag light. Great work, reasonably priced. I do most of my own maintenance on the family's vehicles, but when stuck, this is where i take my cars and trucks.Thanks guys.Chuck.Update 10-30-23Had a bent rim. Two new tires, alignment, suspension check to see if any parts broken, need replacing.No parts!!! ( they could have said some were bad), and price was $45 less than the quote.Still love this place. Keep up the good work. AND, they shuttled me back and forth to my house even though I hadn't set that up ahead of time. 5 start service as usual!Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Auto water leak repair

After 6 months of local mechanics giving me the run around (and continued issues with my vehicle even after repair), I am so grateful I went to Auto Authority! I was greeted with friendly, willing staff and given a comprehensive diagnostic and cost estimate. The repair was completed in a timely, professional manner and solved the oil leak issue that other local mechanics could not seem to fix or warranty. Auto Authority have been my go-to mechanics for years. They are knowledgeable, fair, good communicators, and competitively priced. Most important, they are trustworthy. Recent service included towing due to a dead battery, battery replacement, testing and reset of warning signals, and test drive to ensure all was okay. One of the owners returned my car to my home and he came bearing a box of Girl Scout cookies! They are the best.Service: Battery

I am a college student and my car brakes went out suddenly one day. Being over an hour away from home, I was extremely stressed out about what to do considering it was also my finals week at school. Auto Authority was nothing but helpful and kind. This was my first time having to take my car in alone and they were extremely patient with me. When I first called they made an appointment for me for Friday. I got my car towed there earlier than Friday just to get it out the way. They did a whole inspection on my car and shared the results. By Friday they had completely replaced the brakes and my tires. I couldn't recommend Auto Authority more. Had a dead battery and temps in the teens over the weekend. Needed a battery first thing Monday. The shop I go to for all of my maintenance had turned me away. Having gone by Auto Authority daily for years, I called and was offered a time slot within an hours time. Brian and Missy were great when I arrived and the employees in the service department had me out of there within the hour. Having never been a customer of theirs, I was very happy and also impressed with their willingness to squeeze me in. I will be back and I recommend giving Auto Authority a try when you are in need of maintenance.

I was new to Oshkosh and I found Auto Authority on Google with good review. My car was noisy and hard to turn. I brought it to AA for a diagnosis. The inspection report impressed me by how detailed it was. I also got the estimates from Brian. I fixed my car's power steering pump first and I have run it nearly 2 weeks. There hasn't any problems yet and the pump works well. AA did their good job on fixing my car and follow up with me. I'll back to fix other problems later. First time customer, and boy was I impressed. I got a VERY detailed inspection of my vehicle with pictures! I've been taking my car to a Ford dealership ever since I got it in 2017. Obviously they haven't been doing their fluid checks, because it turns out my transmission fluid was black! Thank you Auto Authority, for notifying me of this right away and getting taken care of.
