A stop on our father son road trip in 2022. This place was amazing! We got lucky and were the only ones there during the time. We obviously hiked to the Observation Tower first! Once there, we climbed and climbed and climbed but made it to the top! The views were breathtaking! We went in June so the greens were vibrant, a clear blue sky and we could see for miles! This was our last stop on our tour of the great state of Wisconsin. Took some great photos and my boy and I reminisced about the whole vacation that lead to this point. It was truly a magical and most precious moment for my boy and I. The park has a camping area, pavilion, ground mounted grills, a play area for the kids, a lake, swimming area, boat landing, hiking trails, horse riding trails and cross country trails all over! Would be a great place to camp for a night or two. Highly recommend this place for families, adventurers or nature lovers. To be honest, this is not a handicap friendly place. If you have troubles walking, the picnic areas are what you're limited too.

We love it here. Living only a few miles away is great! Although we visit often, it seems like we have never seen it all. They added a brand new restroom this summer too! There is a large shelter for large gatherings and the playground equipment is great for the kids.

Timms Hill is a very beautiful place. A little off the beaten path not something you end up at by accident But the journey is worth the time and effort.Small parking lot at top with good restrooms, picnic area, play structure In a short hike to the tower. The eight flights of stairs to climb to the top of the tower. Give you a magnificent view of forest and land around Wisconsin s highest point.

Such a gorgeous place to see the fall colors, it's a short/mild steep hike to get to the actual tower. The drive in was also beautiful!

Beautiful drive into the park via County RR. One way road through the park. Fresh snow made it hard to know where parking was.

Not a very high state high point, but beautiful nevertheless. In the middle of the woods in Northern Wisconsin in an unassuming county park, it is not a wilderness but the surroundings are nice. Been three times. A quarter-mile paved uphill trail gets you to the summit with relative ease. Two towers on top, along with the benchmark and mailbox with the register (there is another register in the parking lot by the wooden map of the park). 360-degree views on top of the wooden tower. A few other trails by the lake as well. Five stars for the peak itself, but docked the park a star for taking the bottom rungs off the metal ladder at the summit. Not as fun without being able to climb that. Also, bring some bug spray if you want to go between mid-May and mid-July. Overall, a great way to spend a half hour. Make sure to get lunch at Hill of Beans afterward.

I had to park outside and hike in through the snow. It was easy going though and eventually made it up to the lookout tower. There is a fire tower here as well, but I didn't have the gear to climb it safely. Excellent views! Definitely worth seeing if you're in the area.

Beautiful park with well maintained amenities. Nice, small play set at the parking area and beautiful hiking trails. The tower provides a really nice view for miles and is secured with chain link fence around the outside of the structure for peace of mind. The restaurant/coffee shop at the base of the hill seemed nice but very expensive.

I never knew this place existed until a fellow traveler in Minaqua told us to check it out. We did just that and were so impressed at this out-of-the-way County Park with so much to offer. Finally getting to the top was an even greater reward when there was a tower to climb!Again, a little out-of-the-way but you feel like you re somewhere far away learning something new about Wisconsin.

Great place to see amazing view of the north woods. The beginning of October is best time to view. You must walk a few hundred yards up hill to get to the lookout. Parking is tough on the weekends. They do have a bathroom and playground with picnic tables.

Way cooler than I expected, there's a little park for kids and hiking trails. The entrance and exit are cool one way windy roads. I was told you can see seven counties from the observation tower, it might be true. There's a book in a mailbox at the bottom of the observation tower to sign to prove you've been there.

Nice climbable tower and view for the high point of WI. Beautiful trail through the forest and along the lake trail from the highpoint lodge to the tower.

Nice quiet park during the week. We were the only ones there. Biggest downside is a lack of trail markers on the northern trail. A post or paint mark would have been welcome.

Wisconsin is a better place knowing we've preserved Timm's Hill for future generations to see how our highest point fits into the geological history of our state.

Wisconsin High point is pretty amazing.. when you arrive drive to the picnic area there is plenty of parking. We took the trail to the high point and climbed the tower, amazing 30 mile views. The tower is about 80 feet. The park is very nice, there are picnic tables, grills, lake access and restrooms. We had lunch at the park, very nice.

The wifi was terrible! There is a water pump at the bottom of the hill, BUT YOU HAVE TO PUMP IT YOURSELF. The pavilion isn't even heated in the winter. I was expecting a small restaurant, or at LEAST a variety of food trucks because I wanted a nice shawarma or maybe a Thai red curry, but there wasn't ANY of that! The restaurant across the lake had food, but they won't even deliver! The parking lot isn't paved and the little stones somebody just seemed to strew all over scuffed my Louboutin leather loafers and ruined them. Have you even THOUGHT of having a simple valet service? Somebody needs to do a better job getting the leaves to look pretty, because they were mostly yellow with not enough red!Playground: It was all OLD, and nobody had sanitized any of the surfaces. The left-handed equipment was either missing or not clearly marked.Restrooms: They stank, and were gender-biased hellholes.Dog-friendliness: As I said, nothing was paved, so little Winnifred got her cute little feet dirty just hours after her PETicure(TM) !THEN some kind of huge hawk (or owl, or something) came swooping down and ate our little Winnie getting blood ALL OVER her clean white fur!Picnic area: Just planks of wood nailed onto some sort of trestle, many just exposed to the weather and the nasty wasps.

Beautiful park. Nice trails. Observation tower is a must as long as heights don't bother you.

We had a great time hiking the trails and going up to the top of the tower. It should take about 3 hours to hike everything.

Timm's Hill is the highest natural point in Wisconsin(1,951 feet above sea level). It's a beautiful scenic lookout location, especially when the fall foliage is changing colors.
