Asked Tech to install a high quality K&N oil filter i had brought with, and after trying 3 separate times, the pit tech said it was the wrong size. This time around, I bought a Fram Ultra Synthetic to be 100% sure I wasn't crazy. Yes, the diameter of the Valvoline filter is correct and the gasket is correct, but the depth and capacity is way off. To tell me the filter I brought didn't fit, and for me to spin it right on in about 5 seconds just doesn't sit right with me. Thanks for selling me a filter I didn't need.I'll stick to doing my own oil changes...

Ryan was awesome and the gents had me back on the road in under 25 minutes after a tire rotation (not available at many valvoline locations), coolant flush and full synth oil change plus air filters. There are some positive reviews of this place but I think what you need to know is how this company responds when things don't go well.My car never leaked oil before I took it in for an oil change at Valvoline. The technicians at Valvoline drained my oil but didn't have the skill to remove the oil filter, told me I had to take it to the dealer to have that done.Prior to being able to get to the dealer, I noticed oil leaking from my car on my driveway. When I was able to get my car to the dealer, they found the oil drain plug and oil filter housing loose with the belly pan full of oil. I incurred a significant cost to have this addressed, not to mention the inconvenience of needing to go to the dealer to get my oil changed correctly.Customer care put me in touch with the technician that worked on my car. He denied any wrongdoing. Next, I was put in touch with his manager, who was not someone a company should allow to have contact with customers: arrogant and condescending, no accountability, no concern for the burden their incompetence caused their customer.Service: Oil change

I was leaving Oconomowoc to go to Madison when my 'low tire pressure' light came on. I confess that I'm not sure how to check tire pressure. I saw the Valvoline building on Summit Avenue and pulled in. Though they wouldn't officially open for another 25 minutes, a kind man helped me, going out into bone chilling cold to do so. I cannot say enough about his willingness to give aid and his great attitude while he did so. Thank you, David. You have a new customer!!

I just went here again today and was reminded why I keep coming back. Today Emma helped me and she was fantastic! I come here for every oil change because I love how the techs explain things to me and don t pressure me into buying anything (even though I always do because they are so helpful!) I ve gotten my windshield wipers replaced as well as some bulbs in my headlights. Great people and love the work they do!

This is the first "instant" or "quick lube" oil change place I've ever been to. I've always changed oil myself or had a dealership do it.I'm honestly blown away at how clean it is, how polite and knowledgeable the staff is, and how well everyone works together. This is a level of teamwork most businesses can only dream of.Thanks for taking great care of my vehicle and I will absolutely be back!

The team at Valvoline were very helpful, kind, and hardworking. They knew exactly what they were doing and guided me in the right direction of what my car needed. I highly recommend coming here!! Everyone was super sweet and generous during my visit too!

This Valvoline seemed like it was convenient option for getting a quick oil change. It did end up being way more expensive than I anticipated- around $140 - but I figured that was the price I had to pay for a synthetic oil change. About a month later I took it to a mechanic who said my car was leaking oil because Valvoline had not replaced the gasket, had used an off market oil filter and installed it incorrectly. I ended up having to spend another $100 to fix Valvoline's mistakes. In addition, they were recommending I need an oil change every 3 months and the mechanic said they were advising it way too frequently and that I only needed it actually once a year. I don't appreciate car places trying to upcharge people who don't know anything about cars, and then not even completing the work properly. I will never be returning to this Valvoline, or any Valvoline for that reason.

I had an amazing experience here. I usually go to the Honda dealership but needed an oil change asap. Jeremy was phenomenal and he found a plethora of things that Honda never bothered to do such as my engine air filter and cabin air filter. He even showed me how to replace them and was so informative. Instead of spending my money, excuse me, WASTING my money at Honda I got my car all taken care of at valvoline for a very affordable price for everything I had done.

The tech are friendly and nice. But they take forever. Nobody move with any sence of Urgency. I think i hqve age a year waiting for my turn. They put numbers on the cars to try to keep it straight. But it doesn't matter. I think I will go someplace that move faster then an 1.25 hrs for an oil changeService: Oil changeService: Oil change

I don t think I am going to have them touch my tires again. 5 minutes after I left my tire blew out. The valve stem fell into the tire. One they had to use a pliers on during the oil change. Now I have another tire that needs to be replaced because air got in the belts. 2 tires needed to be replaced since going here last week.Services: Tires, Oil changeServices: Tires, Oil change

Was told to park in front of door 3 so I did. Door 3 opened first they asked me to move to door 1 because that lady was there first. No problem. Proceeded to get skipped by 2 people that came after me. Never coming here again. Poor communication and poor customer service for overpriced oil changes. Went here for the passed year and it s always something.

The guys there are super friendly and seem to help out. They offer discounts to everyone which helps make the price a little more reasonable. For a simple oil change on a regular car, they are awesome.I had a rock guard on my car that needed to be removed for the service - 4 bolts. They apparently lost them and replaced them. Great you might think. Well actually they replaced them with the wrong size and when they used their power tools to put them on, they apparently forced them on. This stripped the bolts and ruined the threads where they attach. Not sure the torque specs on this but they were tight and used some power to get it on.The heads of the bolts they used were also starting to round off. Imagine trying to get this off. I had to use a long wrench and a special socket to not round the head off completely.Now I have to figure something else out.They also did not check the other fluids and I noticed a small oil leak today. Not there fault but I thought they would have mentioned something.

Jeremy and the guys were really professional and well mannered! He was testing the fella on his performance/service. Super great attitudes & atmosphere! Definitely worth the little wait and drive to have them genuinely educate me and keep my car well maintenanced! Good job guys!

I was VERY impressed with how well organized this place was. The CSR had a computer stand right next to the driver's door where he was able to show me everything as I sat in the car. He explained it very well. Prices were very fair. Three guys worked on the car as a team and got me in and out in 18 minutes. At the end, one of the guys showed me the dipstick with clean oil on it at the right level to prove they had done the job correctly. I usually change my oil myself but this has me thinking about changing my standard practice.

I have been coming to this location for about a year now for oil changes and upkeep. Every single time I have gotten 10/10 service! The employees go above and beyond to take care of my vehicle with care and responsibility. Franco took great care of me today explaining every single detail and breaking down everything the team was doing. Customer service is one you can not beat. It was amazing. Our Jeep, out of nowhere during the winter holidays at a gas station off the highway wouldn't start. We called and the employee eventually said "I'm going on lunch anyway, why don't I come by and check it out."He came by checked it out, diagnosed it after a few tries, and got it started. We drove to the shop.The staff was more than kind, helpful and people people. They worked and conversed well with us and the vehicle.They let us know much that we didn't, worked on many things in quick time that helped and kept us safe.We were thoroughly impressed with this Valvoline specifically.I've driven all over the country and worked with many mechanics. Never before have I driven away with the satisfaction that I felt that day from the staff at Valvoline in Oconomowoc.Thank you boys

Had a great experience. The staff were friendly, kind and very helpful. Because I don't know much about my vehicles, I'm always nervous to go to a place. I feel like they might give me bad advice. There was a minor issue with my car and they explained it to me in terms that made sense, gave me options on how to fix the issue and then didn't charge me. I felt like they were honest and trustworthy. I'd recommend getting your oil changed here!

These guys really know what they are doing! The workers are friendly and knowledgeable. The oil changes are fast and thorough. It's also super easy to find coupons for valvoline so you can save some money. I also liked that the guy who helped me actually explained the difference between all the different oil types. I will be back!

The person who began the process of pulling in did not know right from left.. after he completed that he had to leave to go downstairs and then briefly came back to check a fluid level. Rude very heavy set man, not funny or amusing. . He did not really talk very much as I really did not want to hear what he had to say. My email coupon was not honored. Evidentially, they are not in their system, why not? The filters were not checked, but washer fluid was added. Never shown clean dipstick. I also was not given a sticker for the window showing oil change date and mileage. This store/shop needs change quickly .. unfortunately the reputation is out in the community as the place not to have your oil changed ..Service: Oil change

First time at Valvoline for quick oil change instead of the traditional scheduling with dealerships which is a hassle if all appointments are filled already. Franco was quick and professional even double checked with me if anyone else showed me the oil dip stick to make sure it was changed and leveled with oil. He even let me know my next oil change the air filter will need to be changed instead of pressuring me to purchased one. Thank you guys! You re the best.

Went to get oil change, did great job had gotten in two small fender benders weeks before, back bumped damaged and loose, front bumper loose and cracked, offered to see what they could do and Bryan fixed back like new, and fixed front well! Back looks good as new and front is good enough to get by until serious fix! Totally went above and beyond, very nice, super awesome guys there! Never going anywhere else! Thanks a bunch!!!

Took my truck for an oil change, long story short I had a severe oil leak. Techs redid the oil change and cleaned my undercarriage and claimed they didn t know how the leak happened. Fast foward to the next and I still have a severe leak so I took my truck to a trusted shop and all they did was cleaned my undercarriage and guess what the leak was gone. Very unprofessional to botch a oil change then lie about cleaning the area and not knowing what happened

Krista and Corey were amazing and helpful when I came in. They even put my new wiper blades on from a different store even though at first we were all worried they wouldn't fit, but they worked on it until they finally did! They were so nice and laid back which made me happy with my decision to go there in the first place. They give you the price for everything before you buy it and don't try to upsell you unless you want.
