My truck is essential for my landscaping business, and when it wouldn't start, I was in a tough spot. I had it towed to Black Tie Auto, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Sam, the owner, quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it right away. His knowledge and expertise were impressive, and he got my truck back on the road in no time. I highly recommend Black Tie Auto for their exceptional service and expertise. Five stars all the way!

I have had my emissions done here twice and both times have always been satisfied! For the record, at the time of this review they only do them in the am 8-11 but no appt needed. Very quick and easy process. Their little waiting area has a TV, table, a comfy couch and even an adorably kind elderly dog to hang out with. My first time I believe I chatted with the owner and he was very nice.

I had a great experience with Black Tie. My car died in the grocery store parking lot. Black Tie was there to tow my car before my wife arrived to pick me up! They fixed my car quickly and the cost was budget friendly. I have returned for various maintenance services on my vehicles and have received 5 start service every time.

Needed a bottom apron repaired -(under front of car). Picked up my car with tow truck and fixed it that afternoon Then picked me up took me to their shop and was able to get my vehicle. Thank You Black Tie. You have now become my place for service. Thank you so much

These guys are fantastic. Especially the owner. Took my car right away (even towed it from my house) when nobody else wanted to and got it running like a champ. I was looking for a new mechanic for my 87 mustang as my old one had closed shop and retired. Took a chance here and it became My favorite experience at a mechanic ever. Brought my vehicle in Thursday morning. They had my vehicle diagnosed for a rack and pinion and had parts ordered and the vehicle complete before the end of the day Friday. They even stayed past shop hours so I could pick my summer vehicle up before the weekend! Car feels like a completely different vehicle after they fixed it! Do not purchase a vehicle from this place.I bought a 2013 Chevy equinox from Black Tie in April 1923. A week after purchasing it the car started having some motor issues and engine knocking. I went back to have them check it out and they told me the catalytic converter needed to be replaced because it was under recall. I had it taken care of by a dealership, who also told me that I had a cracked exhaust manifold, which I went back to black tie and had them replace it, which they charged me for. The problems persisted and it was a major safety concern. To this day, 27 June 2023 I have not received a callback from the owner whom I requested to speak with multiple times.

Great service fast found the problem with my emissions system and fixed it fast and very reasonably priced. And they can do your emissions testing too .Truck runs better than before.!!! Highly recommend

They do emissions testing, and everyone else I called about one was super rude. I know no shops love doing them, but they were professional about it over the phone and in person.

Sam promptly picked up my car, diagnosed and repaired problems and leaks, and went above and beyond in service. Amazing work! My husband and i were standing on the side of the freeway with our son and this is the ONLY shop that would help us. We called 10 different shops with the responses of 4 hour wait or no service until tomorrow along with attitudes. When we called black tie auto they were so nice even over the phone said to come bring it in and they would handle it right away. My husband is a mechanic so he was jealous that i got to be the one to bring in the tire when i informed him or how beautiful and clean the shop was and the classic cars they were currently servicing. I'm assume it was either the owner or shop manager even allowed my brother and I to lush over the other cars in the shop he was servicing. This bad experience with our tire blowing out had been made into a better and faster out come than we ever could have imagined. We live in Milwaukee, but i told my husband if there is ever any work he can't do on my car this is where we will take it. I will gladly drive the extra miles for the service. We highly highly recommend.

My first visit to Black Tie, but not my last. I had an A/C problem, and we are leaving on vacation in a couple of days. Mechanic "Sam" saw me the same day, diagnosed the problem and fixed it for me in an hour. Courteous and professional, and I'll take my future work to them.

I went in for lower control arms and came out paying 1230 and getting a hole in the axle boot which they never mentioned. When I emailed the pics of the hole in the axle boot after they replaced the control arms. They said sorry we missed that. HUH! no your mechanic did that while cranking to get the rusty control arm off. I would not recommend! Inexperienced mechanic/s work there or is it dishonest.

I've taken 2 items here for repair, one a broken frame bolt on my car and the other was I needed them to weld the aluminum rear subframe on my motorcycle. Both were done quickly and at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be going back when I need help.

I was very pleased with the service at Black Tie Auto!! They were efficient and well priced. I spoke directly with the owner and they completed the work on my vehicle in a timely fashion!! Thank you Dan for the great work!

Black Tie has helped us directly and recommended people in the area when they could not do the work. Their customer service has been stellar! Staff have always be very cheerful and polite. I would definitely recommend you check them out for any auto work you need.
