I was on my way to Milwaukee, WI from Iowa, 5 hours through a 7 hour drive when my tire started losing air rapidly. I panicked and pulled to the nearest gas station to fill it up. When it did not retain air whatsoever I freaked out more then called Dan's Auto. I told them the situation and they got me in right away (Thank goodness!!)(SO polite, too). When I arrived they checked out my car they told me what my options were without trying to oversell me or give me the run around- they were very straight forward and honest about the state of my tire. Then the worker (I wish I knew his name!) said it would be about 30 minutes and he offered me a SODA (!!!) and the TV remote (!!) to put on whatever I wanted!!! The prices were SO reasonable, they were willing to speak with my dad on the phone who knew more than me (lol), and they were so kind and hospitable!!!! Having been in a similar situation previously (different car) and my only option was a wal-mart that tried to sell me 3 extra unreasonable tires, this place was seriously like a blessing. While I would never want this situation to happen again, if it does, I hope it would be here. THANK YOU!!!

I have to give a shout out to Dan's Auto Centre. I am a regular customer because their service and staff are very friendly and professional. Highly recommendable. They have gone out of their way to service my vehicles and have always been able to work through several issues regarding my autos.

Dan's has been servicing our vehicles for the last few years, and we couldn't be happier with them. Their customer service is fantastic. They explain what needs to be done, and everyone at Dan's is friendly and helpful. We have a young, busy family, and Dan's will pick up our vehicle and leave us a loaner when needed. We highly recommend Dan's...this is the kind of high quality and friendly service that you can only get in a small town.

female traveler arrived to town in the evening when my battery light came on in the hotel parking lot. Read reviews on Dan's Auto Centre and phoned them the next business day. I was politely told they had a full schedule of appointments and couldn't promise they could get my vehicle in that day but would do their best. Shortly after I dropped the vehicle off, I received a call with an estimate. By the end of the day, my OEM alternator was in installed and I was back on the road. Pleasant, honest experience in a clean and professional environment! Your car is in good hands at Dan's.

Consulted with Seth and Josh about recommendations for new tires - went with Altimax touring tires to help reduce road noise on my Subaru Crosstrek. After getting Subaru 60k maintenance and new tires the vehicle drives like a new car (no exaggeration!!!!). Great customer service - received digital inspection via txt while vehicle was being serviced which included pictures and key information about every major system in the car (brakes, exhaust, transmission, etc.). Also, Dan s Auto scheduled my services so I could use a loaner car which is so convenient. Great customer service at a great value!Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

Our car broke down on the highway outside of Mineral Point while driving my son to college. I found Dans Auto on google and called them from the highway. They told us to have the car towed there. We had to leave the car because we needed to get my son situated at school. They called a few days later with the diagnosis. It ended up being a very simple repair. I was so happy with their honesty about the extent of the repair needed. It would have been so easy for them to take advantage of us with us living out of state and having no idea what was wrong. We were very impressed with there integrity. Seth was so helpful! I wish they were a bit closer to our home so we could use them all the time!

Excellent work, you receive a complimentary loaner car. Reasonable prices. Dan's fixed a problem with my car that other auto shops couldn't figure out. I am a loyal customer of Dan's now

Dropped my car off before work, picked it up after. They can usually do pickup, but it was the day before labor day so they were short-staffed. Regardless, I've been going there for years and they do a great job every time

I had car issues while traveling alone w small children and thankfully Dan s Auto Center was in the right place at the right time. They were extremely kind and efficient and fixed my problem within 15 minutes. They even had a clean place for my kids to play while we waited. I can t say enough good things about Dan s!!

I gave it one star because this company is in a country area in Mineral Point Wisconsin. They feel that they can charge you anything they want since they are the only one of two auto mechanic shops in town. I will not be going back to pay $600 for an alternator change out of a 2007 Ford Focus. Go to Wayne's, or Goodney's in Platteville Wisconsin.

Am completely DISGUSTED with this place! They gave us an estimate that was almost $1,000 more than it should have been - out of pocket price (even with our warranty) and they couldn't even give us a detailed explanation of the cost as to why that was. When we decided to take our business elsewhere, the mechanic threw a tantrum and gave us a bill for labor that had to be paid before we moved our truck.....they NEVER did any labor! BAD BUSINESS!!!!

We broke down literally in their parking lot on a trip from Chicago and they took the time to figure out what was wrong and work us in as well as gave us a loaner car so that we could keep going on our vacation in the area.
