I was referred here by Volkswagen and they did me a huge favor. Wi. Tire and Muffler has been reliable, honest, and fairly priced. I have been here 3 times for my project/beater car and they treat me well and get me on the road every time. I'll keep coming back and referring anyone else.

Great service and fast. I called and went in for them to check out my muffler basically 2 hours before they closed. They were able to find an issue that a previous shop made and got a muffler for my car and put it on before closing. My family has been coming here for all muffler related needs. Definitely would recommend!

Don't go to this repair shop, their first come first serve is BS. They don't treat everyone fairly. They told the wait was going to be 20 to 30 mins. I was the 2nd car outside. I waited and waited after a few cars came after my car and got into the shop. I waited for 2.5 hrs so I just left. I was not informed on an updated time. I was not even acknowledged while sitting in the shop for thar long. Was not a pleasant visit.

So far, so good. The service was great. The wait for my vehicle was very good, for being a walk-in. The price was probably the best.

It started off good; it was recommended by an associate I know, but a potential disaster for me! Though I had two of my cars services becuz of time & convenience. I wouldn't consider not recommended! A former mechanic myself with somewhat of an experience; I told them over the phone & in person what I want & needed without sharing what I know. The job itself was pretty good; it's just the laziness & lack of initiative for me! He didn't check for other issues that maybe in need of service; which is a win win situation for & more money & clientele for you! He just did half what was told to do! Didn't put oil back in my car which was in need & it still ran hot & leaked. And they definitely don't like you buying your own partsAfter talking with someone, I can honestly say that I respect them reaching out & doing me a solid. Thank you for showing customers that you care & fixing the problem at hand as of 11/29/21

I ve gotten a lot of work done here on my Jeep truck, I would HIGHLY recommend this place! They are honest, affordable & very efficient with the services they offer! They gave me a year warranty on all parts and labor each time! They never disappoint! Thank you guys!

We stopped in shortly before closing to ask if they could inspect a vehicle my son wanted to buy. They discovered a lot of suspension wear and ended up saving him from overpaying a thousand dollars. Thank you for your kindness!

DO NOT GO THERE. Will rip you off real quick.Went there for a simple alignment for my car and they tried to charge me 150$ extra stating it was because I was missing 2/3 bolts from my ball joint. Little did they know that all that was just replaced new from another shop. Got there to pick up the car, checked the bolts, which were all still there, took it to a local mechanic and paid 80$ and only took 15 min.

They should update their auto message when people call because it says for emission test press #1 and then it says call back and press #3 someone answers and when asked they do not do emissions testing. I went here about a year ago and been there many times before, its my usual location to do emissions testing not sure what happend

Went to this place after reading reviews claiming they offer walk-in emissions testing and prompt service. Got there and saw a big sign on the door that says NO EMISSIONS. *shrug* Look elsewhere.**Edit** Review upgraded to 5 stars for the classy response received.

Great experience at the West Milwaukee/West Allis location on Lincoln. Kevin was very helpful and did a great job with my difficult Cadillac muffler and flex joint. Pricing was very reasonable.

sent the car home after replacing the cv and they didn't think hm I wonder why those have seals. tried to resell the supposedly new parts and was told I could find higher quality parts in a salvage. Definitely not worth 2 thousand dollars. Oh and they "lost" my oem tpms with. Well they for sure lost any of my business. This taught me if I have to wait a week, I'd rather do it myself.

Great place! Everyone there is very nice and I don t know a lot about cars but they took the time to explain what needed to be done. They are VERY reasonably priced and got my car finished in a small amount of time. They also seem very experienced. Definitely my go-to now for all my car repairs and oil changes!

I had a ton of work done. Shocks, struts, arm control and ball joints etc. The service was amazing! T The professiolism is great and I just love how they took care of me and my Denali. The price is unbeatable. There's no greater joy I feel right now knowing my vehicle is in safe drive mode again. Thank you to all the staff!!! Y'all are awesome!

I needed immediate service to my muffler in order to get me back home and Wisconsin Muffler Tire & Auto Repair came to the rescue. The owner was courteous and worked with me in order to find the right solution I needed! They are the best and very friendly!

The manager Steve was Great, and very helpful!My father is disabled and drives a Van.It is often hard to find a place that can fix things fast and trust that they will be honest.They were able to fix everything that needed work, and not what didn't need fixing.They also let me see everything with my own eyes.Thanks again to the mechanics, and Management.

3rd time I have been to have my car serviced and Steve and Dave took care of everything. Went in for shocks today and they ran down a list of everything else that was wrong and took the time to explain it all. Dave even came out to get me half way through the job and showed me another issue with the rear shocks. I applaud Dave for the time he took to make sure everything was done right and so my family is safe. Steve even answered my questions about future maintenance and helped make me in making my decision on them and the timing of them. Always have had tremendous service here. I highly recommend them.

Horrible customer service. They made me waist my time. I showed up as soon as they opened looking to get an emissions test but an employee told me they didn t start till 9. I apologized and came back an hour later for the same employee to tell me they were backed up, I told him I didn t mind waiting. I wasn t trying to make his life difficult. His demeanor changed and he told me they were not doing emissions test at all that day.

Exhaust got loud so took in the car to have a look. Had to drop off the car and wait 4hrs for them to provide an estimate.Got a call with the quote and couldn't believe the price. Apparently the flex pipe, all the flanges, the resonator and the muffler were all bad. The cost of the resonator and muffler were reasonable but they quoted an additional $440 for flange repair. I was told they were very bad and needed lots of work. I'm no mechanic, but $786 (after a $80 discount and $40 in misc "fees") seemed a little unreasonable. I also couldn't understand how everything could be bad, I don't know how you could diagnose the muffler if everything upstream is leaking? I told them thanks but no thanks and left, realized when I got home they broke the door lock stem piece, didn't even bother calling to complain.I took the car to another exhaust place and after 15min had a quote in hand for $240, bad resonator and flex pipe. Had the repairs for a week now and am glad I got a second opinion. I almost said go ahead mainly because I had the day off and just wanted to get the car done, but I am happy with my decision. I will never go back to any of these locations again, I recommend you get a second opinion if your considering this place!

Do yourself a favor, don't go to this shop, go to the New Berlin location, John and Adam are AWESOME there. This shop refuses to take accountability. I typed a really long review initially explaining my entire issue, but it was too long, in the end, they lost the key to my boyfriend's car that we placed in the key drop after they closed IN AN ENVELOPE WITH HIS CONTACT INFO ON IT. They're trying to say the key isn't in their possession so they're not responsible for it, as if we'd pay $200 to tow a vehicle on two flats to the shop to lie about leaving a key and not just the envelope or the key went missing if the key were to fall out, but somehow the whole envelope and key is gone. At the end of the day, he said that he's not responsible for keys in his possession. Food for thought, the key drop is indicative that they are accepting liability for customers' belongings that are in their care, custody and control. Their shop does not state anything indicating they are not responsible for lost keys, or keys lost from the key drop, JUST that they aren't responsible for broken plastic hub caps. With that said, I could EASILY present this argument to a judge, and win the case. I've done this kind of thing before with other issues of people trying to screw me over, and I won. Additionally, the guy at the shop said "this isn't the first time keys have gone missing" yeah that's really comforting buddy. Mike HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They want us to go waste time at the DMV and pay to get the title and go to the dealership and pay to get the key that they lost. At the end of the day, if you're not going to accept responsibility for customers' keys, you shouldn't have a key drop. I work in the legal field and it's funny to hear people think they can't be held accountable, when really, all you need is a small detail like that. Having a key drop indicates accepting liability for customers' belongings that are dropped off when the shop is closed. Like I said, go to the New Berlin location, they're awesome, additionally, this location on Lincoln seems to be the only one that has poor reviews, because all of their employees are lazy and don't take responsibility and just brush people off. Now we're stuck getting our car repaired here because we're not going to pay another $200 to tow it to another shop because they're incompetent.

Brought in my in law's Saturn Outlook for replacing what we thought was a bad noisey muffler. Alex and team found out only the resonator was bad so saved us money. They finished it in one day, communication was clear, and once they finished I requested to see what they replaced so they lifted it up and showed me.

Got an alignment. This time they did a good job. I guess it depends on who you get to work on your car. The last guy didn't do so good with my other car, told me that he adjusted things that he didn't really do , but this time the guy did a great job... I'm satisfied

Went to get my car Fixed only for them to tell me two parts that needed to get fix, with after talking to several other Machincs would never be the problem with my car. Brought back in after the check engine light came back on,only to be told two completely different parts were the cause! Felt like they were just throwing parts to see what worked instead of taking the time to find the route cause the first time! Will never recommend or do business here again!

I was a Wisconsin Muffler customer 32 years but will not bring our family cars there anymore. Loyalty means a lot to me, so I dont make this decision lightly. After years of recomending them, I've been disappointed with their performance lately. We've now had a couple misdiagnoses of root problems leading to multiple repairs, costing thousands of dollars. After all these years I no longer feel like I can trust them. On my last visit I almost felt like they were just seeing how much money they could get out of us.

I usually don't do reviews but I have to make an exception for Wisconsin Muffler. Since I found them a lot of years ago, I've never gone anywhere else for the kinds of work they do so well. It's rare to find auto service anywhere with similar fast, friendly, professional and reasonably priced service.

Always have had a great experience here. My mom has been going here for years and they always offer a fair price and are very friendly. They also take care of anything that they might have caused without problems. Would highly recommend.
