I ve been taking my two vehicles to Toms for repairs and maintenance, and I am beyond happy with the service and level of professionalism they provide. My entire life I ve been a random customer with random shops that came to auto repairs, and I am a very comfortable with the shop that my vehicles anywhere else. The owner Mike is hands-on with the shop and has a efficient electronic way of doing things that I really appreciate. Quotes come as text messages and can be electronically sign from your phone. There is no need for me to play Russian roulette with mechanics anymore. I know who I can trust and it s Tom s :) it s great!

I've had nothing but satisfaction taking my car to Tom's Automotive. It's a first come, first served basis, so get there early! I trust this place for the service of my car. Very fair and honest people!

Horrible prices.. they were trying to charge 800 dollars for something that was an easy fix. I got the same work plus more for a fraction of the 800 at another shop less than half of what they were charging. 200 vs 800

Highly recommend! They re so nice, always helpful, and they get things done in a timely manner. Reasonably priced for the quality of work done as well.

The first few times I went they were great but this last time I asked for an inspection on my vehicle and when I got it back my check engine light was in and my car didn t want to start back up once I got it home I would start up and cut right back off something it wasn t doing before and they are over price for the most part

Not only are they good, but the price is right.It's hard to find a good mechanic and a good price in the same place today.I sure did here.I'll be seeing you before the snow flies. *Edit*I was there about a month ago with my car when I got an estimate for over #3k! I went to another place & my total was just under $750. I was told at Tom's it was heads, complete brake job front & rear & a bunch of stuff, but it turned out to be an old style heater hose elbow that was leaking, two rear calipers & pads serpentine belt & a trans line fitting that Tom's wanted to replace the whole line when it wasn't needed. So, no head work was needed as Tom's told me! I went to Total Auto Repair & had great work done by someone trustworthy enough to point out the heads were fine. He even asked me "Who told you that you needed the heads redone?"While the first time there was good, Tom's tried to stick it to me the second time as $3k is a big difference from $750. Edit 3-18-24;No thank you, Mike.I'm no fool & my statement stands firm!Your shop wanted to charge for problems that the car never had & was all confirmed by Total Auto Repair for way less than you tried to stick me for.No need to try and make it sound good because it was not honest what you were trying to pull.Places like yours need to be shut down for ripping people off.Service: General repairs & maintenance

After a thermostat and coolant replacement earlier in the year and the heat in cabin always too high, brought it back for check especially for coolant level being too low.. They added coolant for the last service and charged about $250. This service is related to the prior one and $250 is excessive to top off sime coolant.

I had a shake in my steering wheel. Tom's analyzed my car and knew exactly what it was I needed. They repaired my car within the hour. This place is awesome. I'm not going anywhere else. The price is very reasonable. I have used them a couple of times. I had a great experience at this repair shop! The owner Mike is incredibly nice and offers really fair prices. Once again the guys at Tom's saved me. Dealership quoted me $1600. and it turned out to be $40. at Tom's! These guys know what they are doing, unlike the dealership and I will go nowhere else. The gal at the desk (Nichole?) was also a pleasure to talk with, and her level of knowledge about vehicles as well as her ability to explain what was happening was very reassuring. She also updated me several times as to the mechanics progress with out me having to ask. The waiting room was clean, warm, attractive and comfortable. You should see Mikes very impressive collection of little metal vehicles on display! I reccomend you go nowhere else.Services: Steering & suspension replacement, Tire rotations

Went to 3 other mechanic shops that kept bs on what my car really needed. These guys one look at it and knew what the issue was. They fix it in an advance time of what they said it would be fix by so that's always a plus. I truly thank these guys for getting my car back and running in the shape that I needed to be in. Thanks again. Most definitely recommend this mechanic shop

I bought a car at their dealership in February and drove it for a week before it was due for maintenance. I was told the only thing that was messed up was the lifter tick which is common on the car I have (it is) and the parking brake not working.They had agreed to cover these repairs and any other thing that came up. When I went to sign the paperwork after the loan had been approved, they had told me that they had purchased a warranty (that I explicitly expressed NOT wanting). They had done this so the repairs they needed for the car I bought would end up costing ME money after I had already agreed to purchase it without. There was no way for me to remove it as it would take extra time and the loan amount was already set.It was in the mechanic for a MONTH because it ended up needing a new engine, something they repaired (but not completely). I got my car back on 3 separate occasions and took it right back within 5 minutes because one thing wasn't fixed or it started a noise immediately after. I wasn't able to fully drive it for over a month and was left paying for uber after uber to even get to the mechanic or to work. On one occasion I even needed it towed because the thermostat exploded on the highway on that first week of ownership.When I finally got my car back I had to move across the country for ~2 months in order to handle some issues out of state. On the day I needed to leave it was still making noises but it was too late to stay there waiting. On the day I needed it I waited over 6 hours at the mechanic just to get it back with the same clicking noise but I decided to just go as I needed to leave. I noticed the gears being weird and not fully engaging that same day.I moved and drove the way to the new state I was moving to and was only able to drive the car a total of 60 miles while lived out of Wisconsin. When I moved back I had to tow it behind a uhaul and took it straight back to the mechanic affiliated with Toms auto. I reminded them my warranty was up in a week and a half. I didn't get a call until a month after saying it needed a new engine but the warranty was up. Mike apologized and told me he'd pay for my new warranty in order to make it up as he was the one that let the time roll over (by four weeks).I went back to Toms Auto to get a new warranty and purchased a more expensive plan as the old company refused to let me get a new one. I talked to Mike and took it back to his shop and was told he never said anything about paying for any part of the warranty and that it was on me to pay. They had CONVINCED me that they would pay it just to turn around and say they wouldn't. This warranty was about $1600 that I had to pay on credit because I couldn't afford to pay it out of pocket. They had my car sitting in the same spot at the shop for two months waiting for the warranty to "not be suspicious" (actually scamming the warranty and me) just to end up taking it to hyundai after they finally called 2.5 months later. It needs a new engine again because they didn't do it right the first time as well as a new clutch which I figured out right away but they said wasn't an issue(it was).I don't have a car to drive and I bought it this year.I am pissed. My car has only been in use 2 weeks out of this whole year and I've had it since February. It's September.So no, I would not recommend shopping for a car here, ever. I have spent thousands in transportation and over two thousand buying two different warranties that I didn't want to need. All of this would've been avoided if they wouldn't have sold me a car they knew had such huge issues to begin with.

Never again I go here. My experience an own opinion. Is when I when in the store it was a dude in the phone talking not even once he say hello or nothing, bad communication. But when it was other people he quick to say hi to other's . And i only wanted a regular oil change and not once let me know what they was doing, so when I when to paid my bill was $80. Was super mad because i had a budget and have to paid extra to them. And the receptionist she haves no customer service experiences at all. . I wont go there again.

Mike and his team were quick and professional about getting my engine back in shape fast and efficiently. They tested and fixed my car all within the same day of dropping it off. They were great in communicating what needed to be fixed and why. Along with the cost breakdown that came with it. They even found me some discounts along the way. We just bought a used vehicle and took it to get it inspected. They provided me with items that should be fixed, and were understanding and not pushy when we only had one thing fixed. I recently had the pleasure to deal with this establishment in the purchase of another vehicle. The process was complicated due to the lender but the salesperson Fare hung in there and made it happen. He stay on top of things and delivered like he said he would. I was always greeted with respect and by name. They also took care of all repairs and even emissions. One stop stop for all your car needs or car purchases. Fare took the time out to make sure he had coffee for me every time I came. He also promise that I was welcome to it any day and anytime. I m going to hold him to this promise. I was in need of a repair I was not interested in using my shop mechanic. Tom's Auto maintenance was referred by my friend and got the best estimate for my vehicles with on-time service on a priority basis. The owner showed up and kept good communication with me leading to lots of savings. I would say the price was fair and the work completed with care and competence. Plus, I did not get dirty or frustrated trying to figure it out and complete the job by my mechanic. In this case it was worth every penny I spent and was done conveniently at his shop.I highly recommend this shop .Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my car in to get it checked out on a Saturday because it wasn't running well and the check engine light was on. By Monday morning Mike had called with an estimate and to get authorization to perform the necessary repairs. By around 5pm that same Monday he called to tell me it was ready for pickup. The car hasn't run this well in years. Mike and his team did a great job in a very timely manner. On top of all that, Mike went the extra mile and contacted me a couple days later just to check-in and make sure the car was running well.
