Great experience! Needed to have my car towed due to an electrical/computer issue. I had called other auto places all of which could not have my vehicle looked at for several days. Silver Spring Automotive diagnosed my car the same day and had the part ordered and installed the following day. They reached out a couple times to let me know the status of the car, which was much appreciated. Very friendly. The employees were very kind. We brought our car in for a transmission fix that six other mechanics we called refused to even look at, and despite the transmission not needing a repair, they still checked out our vehicle quickly and alerted us of prices beforehand. Everything was very transparent with them, and they gave us a call at the end of the day to see if we would be picking up our vehicle.The inside of the office was neat and clean, the people on the phone were just as kind. They didn't try to overcharge, and they sent a coupon in the mail for us later on too. We will definitely be back!

I give 3 stars for the good customer service..but as far as services I really didn't get none. The technician possibly did a half diagnose and assumed I need a engine.if I pay for a diagnose I expect to know exactly what I need to get fixedService: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Found a cheap set of steelies online. I have family who live in Milwaukee and honestly one of the nicest shops around. Very friendly and helped install winter tires on these used steelies. Will say they are better than most shops in Milwaukee.Service: TiresService: Tires

Been to silver spring auto many many times. These are honest people trying to make things work well. Like any shop have had a couple minor issues of rework. But things were handled very well and they made me a happy customer.The mechanics care about doing good work and have respect for your vehicle.Try them. Bet you also have a good experience.

A different oil change company changed my oil 3 weeks ago and also replaced my air filter. They didn t properly secure a couple of latches for the air intake system, it came loose and screwed with the computer in my truck and shut it down. I had it towed to Silver Spring Automotive and they found the problem when they did a diagnostic test. They properly secured the latches, called me and I had my work truck back in 4 hours. Extremely pleased with the service, Honesty and professional response I received from them. Will be using them for the other maintenance issues on all of our vehicles in the future!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I really enjoy doing my own work on my own vehicles. However, when time is short or the job is too much, I trust Ron and his team at Silver Spring Automotive. I trust they will not try to sell me more service than I need. The prices are very competitive and they are a trustworthy team. Best independent car service team around!

I have been taking my cars to Silver Spring Automotive for about 10 years. I highly recommended them for being honest, competitively priced and professional. I never feel that I am being "taken" as I don't know much about cars. I have always trusted them and have never been let down. The shop is clean and the staff is friendly.

Really disappointing experience from this place. Advertised free oil change in the mail and said it was fine if I came in and used it but had to make an appointment, so made one for the next day. When I came in the guy at the desk took one look at me, smirked, and told me it wasn t transferable. The intention was clearly to get me to show up for the offer but end up paying since I was already there. I probably would have, just an oil change really, had there been any kind of polite response, but overall did not get a good impression.

Great service. Nothing fancy but they get the job done. Coherently describe problem(s) and costs (verbal & in writing) before repairing. Never any pressure.

Took my 2nd vehicle to Silver Spring Automotive and they honestly and properly diagnosed the issue that I was having. They 1) knew exactly what they were talking about and 2) didn t waste my time or money by selling me on unneeded or unnecessary services. Honest and straight to the issue. Had a really positive experience, had my radiator, upper and lower thermostat housing replaced on my Ford Explorer. The bill ended up being about $100 less than they quoted me, and the few other little things that are wrong with my truck (which can wait), they gave me a really, really reasonable price quote. I will definitely be returning with future repair work.
