We purchased a vehicle out of state and we're not in person to take ownership. They managed the process flawlessly with consistent communication letting us know where we were at every step of the process. They were willing to do a video chat to show the vehicle to us since we couldn't see it in person and the vehicle came in exactly the condition they advertised! Financing was easy. Actually the entire process was easy! Would highly recommend!

This is a very professional dealership. Very easy going, experts on their fleet, and were not pushy at all. They helped me get the car I wanted and not the car they wanted to sell me. They never tried to upsell. They were honest, professional, up front, and made the process easy and exciting rather than stressful. They have earned my business from now on. Highly recommend.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and tires rotation. The service advisor was very courteous and thorough in explaining the courtesy safety check that was performed on my vehicle. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable about the mechanical workings of a vehicle and I would like to point out that this dealership has never tried to sell me something or perform service on the vehicle that it didn t need. The customer waiting area was very clean and supplied with a large variety of complementary beverages and some snacks. The service appointment was performed far quicker than I expected. Always had a great experience talking my vehicle to this dealership for service work.

Schlossmann Subaru City is a pleasure to do business with. Their whole staff is outstanding- professional and honest. The service department is exceptionally great to work with. Service includes, free valet pickup and return and free car wash. Also included is a video of the car after service and inspection. All the staff is friendly and really want to do a good job. This is the best dealership I ve ever done business with!

The entire process was painless and my salesman and my finance man were both super helpful and absolutely terrific! I can t think of anything that could ve gone better! 10/10 experience, the representative that helped me out was very caring and spoke to me like a genuine person that cared about my issue. I came in for a simple tail light repair, they quoted me an accurate waiting time, and a rep came out after about 45 minutes letting me know where things were at. They were even able to help my final repair cost out and they kindly walked me out to my vehicle after it was all done. Felt like I was family there, and felt like they did the right thing, the right way, without trying to up charge or scam me. Will always be bringing my car here from now on, thank you for a good experience.

As I have come to expect, the service was absolutely wonderful at Subaru city today. My car was in for routine maintenance, and is back to its date of purchase performance. The staff was warm, informative and welcoming. This continues to be the best car dealership experience I have ever experienced in my 65 years. Keep up the great work!

Purchased a 2023 Subaru Ascent in June of 2023. Nearly a week later my back up camera looked like an old analog tv screen. I contacted Subaru city and sent them videos and photos of what was happening. They told me to bring it in. After they looked at it they told me they couldn t replicate the issue themselves and even though they have video proof they were still going to say the vehicle is working as it should be and send me and my children away with it. I started yelling at them to take the car back. They sold me a lemon car and refusing to fix it. They then begged me to give them an opportunity to look more into it instead of making them take it back. Guess what they then magically were able to replicate the issue and fix it. On February 22, 2024 I was driving 60 mph on cruise control with nothing in front of me, a vehicle in oncoming traffic lane and there was another vehicle driving behind me when all of a sudden my ascent screamed out warning noise and my dash said there was an object in front of me and my car slammed on its own breaks nearly causing a horrific accident. I contacted Subaru city and they took my car into the shop. They came back and said nothing was wrong with the vehicle, it was working as it should. I got into a heated conversation with the GM. I told him I wanted copies of the photos my vehicle took when it activated the safety system and slammed on the breaks and I wanted copies of what the computer reading said. He told me to get them subpoenaed. When they returned my ascent to me I read the work order. They lied on the work order and said that I was falling too closely to an object and I had applied the break myself and the car had to activate the breaks even further to save me. I called the GM back again and told him that is a flat out lie. There was nothing in front of me when this happened and my car malfunctioned putting me in danger. He said his employees don t lie. I said either they are lying or they interpreted the reading to be whatever they want it to be. He said his employees don t interpret. I asked how did he come up with that conclusion then. He said he didn t know, he doesn t know how things work in the service department all he knows is what his team said and that what they say are true statements. I ended up talking to the service manager the next day and he said it was in fact an interpretation. The ascent again malfunctioned while driving my kids to school saying there was an object in front of me when there was not. I called the service manager right away when the service department opened. He asked if he could come ride with me in the car and have the computer connected for readings. I authorized him to do so. The car did not malfunction while he and his employee rode with me. He told me to just disable the safety feature for now and he will be in contact with Subaru to figure out what to do. A few days later he asked to pick up my car for further testing. I allowed him to. They had my ascent in their possession for a lengthy period of time and the service manager said he was expecting Subaru to tell him to swap out the computer but he couldn t say for sure until he hears back. I ended up getting a phone call saying Subaru is saying everything is working as it should so they won t be doing anything. March 30, 2024, I was driving on a clear day and my safety system disabled itself in the middle of driving. I immediately called the service manager. He said he would pick the car up Monday morning and get Subaru back on it. Nearly 2 weeks of having my vehicle and they are saying Subaru is stating the vehicle works as they designed it to. I asked are they saying they designed it to malfunction then? He said apparently. I asked what are they going to do since they know my vehicle is malfunctioning. He said as far as Subaru goes they will do nothing. He can talk to the GM and see where they sit with buying my vehicle back. A couple of minutes later he called me back and said the GM says I can either sue for lemon law or trade it in and take a hit on any negative equity.

I will preface this review by saying that I have been a long time and loyal customer with Subaru City of Milwaukee for well over a decade. I have purchased or leased a good number of vehicles from this dealer over that decade for myself and my wife.In the service industry it takes one bad experience to sour someone from doing business with a company ever again. This is the story about how Subaru City of Milwaukee and Subaru as a brand has ensured that I will never buy a car from them ever again.Last year I leased a 2023 Subaru Ascent Touring for my Wife and within the first week of having the vehicle the backup camera image displayed on the screen of the information/Entertainment glitched out and would not display properly. The car was brought in for service and at first glance Subaru City decided to treat my wife poorly as they could not see the issue after she raised concerns about the safety of the vehicle. The car was given back and this issue happened again. The car was brought back for service and the conflict worsened until they finally replicated the issue. In which they replaced the camera system in the vehicle. We no longer had the issue with the backup camera.Fast forward into this year and we observed the safety systems deactivating at odd times as we drove it. We then have an incident where the car decides to break aggressively on its own even though the road was clear of any obstructions and other vehicles. It was bad enough that it scared my wife and she immediately contacted Subaru City's service department, the car was picked up and was looked at. They pulled log information and sent it to Subaru USA. In the mean time the tone of the conversation was very repetitive regarding how my wife was driving, where she was going, the conditions and if this only happens on the same road. Many times the same information was provided and it truly felt like we are not being listened to. We were given the car back with no resolution. There were points in the conversation where members of the Subaru City staff were condescending towards my wife.In the last few months we have had the car in for the same issues with the safety system with no resolution. The last go around we were told that we can sue Subaru USA or trade the vehicle in now while taking a bath on the fact the vehicle will be upside down. We are also being told that Subaru USA is indicating that the car is behaving as designed. Which prompts us to ask if they knowingly designed features that were faulty? The service manager appeared to agree with that assessment over the phone which is concerning.I pay a lot of money for a vehicle that my family cannot use reliably. I can't afford to replace it under the current market and it appears that neither company is willing to make this right. So we are stuck until we can bring this car back at the end of the lease.This whole ordeal shows that brand loyalty means nothing. That the money I spend only matters before the deal is made and not after. I will never deal with Subaru City of Milwaukee again after this and I will never buy a Subaru again.I recommend that walk away if you are considering doing business with Subaru City of Milwaukee.

I recently bought a new 2024 Subaru Forester from Schlossmann. They were recommended to me by a very car business knowledgeable friend. They were fair, friendly, professional, very courteous and wonderful to work with. No games or pushiness at all. I also got a very good price and good value for my trade in. I approach car buying skeptically, but this was my best car buying experience ever. If buying a Subaru in the Milwaukee area, I would recommend them highly.

My first experience with service at this dealership went very well. In addition to routine maintenance, I had one issue which was thoroughly evaluated and found to be minor, but I was impressed by the work put in to check it out, covered under warranty. My service advisor, Sean, was friendly and knowledgeable. I plan to return for service in the future.

Didn't go there necessarily to buy a car but received an offer I couldn't pass up. Descent trade for my 2017 outback that coincided with KKB estimate. Got 0% financing for 48 months. So bought a new Forrester. Kyle took the time to sit in car and explain all the new features and even blue toothed my phone for me. Did opt for maintenance contract for first 36 months for oil changes and any other required maintenance. Over all a pretty painless experience.

Many of the sales staff have been at the company many years which is a strong statement about the environment there. The service department goes above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied. I had several errands to run while waiting for some regular maintenance and detail work to be done and it was fantastic having access to a free loaner car in order to accomplish them. In addition to that, the service consultant, Matt Pulaski, was extremely couteous, pleasant and helpful. I've never been disappointed bringing my car in to be worked on and this was yet, another positive experience.

Did 12,000 mile service on Subaru purchased in March of 2023. The service team is quick, professional, and friendly. They took the car in 30-minutes early and had my oil change, tire rotation, and standard checkpoint done in just over one hour and out the door, including a car wash. Megan has been my Service Manager the past few services and is excellent. Extra bonus points: One of the in take service members helped me adjust my cargo carrier into my back seat so that it wouldn't damage my interior. A thoughtful observation and assist.

Subaru City is great! Because I bought my car there I can park it there when I go out of town as long as I drop it off & pick it up during business hours. It works great! And the fixed s recall item while I as gone and had my car washed when I returned. I highly recommend Subaru City!!

Kevin W in sales made a bad situation great, as we were only there because my wife had unfortunately totaled her Subaru. Went in there, told him what we were looking for, and he was able to find it. He was positive and upbeat the whole way through, and knew his product, and went through the features of our new vehicle with us. Tony in finance was also great, and made sure we understood what we were signing before we signed it, and neither one of these gentleman pressured us into anything we didn t want. So, thank you guys very much.

Our fairly new Subaru died in traffic and we had it towed to the dealership. They lied and told me no loaner cars were available despite the fact that I was alone with my kids and had no other car. Then when they called the next day proposing thousands of dollars of potential repairs, they suddenly had a loaner car to offer.UPDATED - the manager contacted me and made a sincere effort to make things right and our family really appreciates it.
