Zero stars if I could. I took one vehicle 3 times for check engine light and brakes. They cleared and said everything was fine. Returned a couple more times and they continued to clear the light but not fix the problem. Took vehicle to local dealership and I had a cracked manifold and my breaks were basically gone. The dealership said they would not let me take my vehicle because of the danger.

Came for my emissions test. Recommend calling to make an appointment so they can plan around having the technician ready away from usual car repair. Did so and was done in less than fifteen minutes.There's even a small air conditioned sitting area where you can wait while they do the work

I pull up as soon as they were opening. I spoke to a repair guy and he said it will be about 30 minutes ( cool, I waited) Then 30 minutes came and passed and he offers his service to a person that literally just pulled up. I couldn't believe what I just witnessed so I get out and I asked, did they forget about me and he never opened his mouth to respond so I got offended. The lady at the counter wasn't so pleasant either! She buds in and responds with an ugly attitude and says, well you were just sitting there. I will EVER go back and I don't recommend my worst enemy there. They need to work on customer service and better work ethic!

Chris Rutter and his team are exceptional at customer service and the automotive repair services they provide. I have taken all of my vehicles including company and personal vehicles for repairs and service to them. They are always welcoming and quick to take care of my needs. I have never felt more comfortable about the pricing I have received from any other automotive shops like I do at Rutter's.

So we took 587 there for an oil change. They got us in quick and we watched the end of Matt Walsh on Dr. Phil in the waiting room. Then, a courtroom show was on and this lady wanted to sue the caterer because they gave her gluten pasta and she needed gluten free and she ended up in the hospital. But, when the whole story came out, it turns out she added 25 extra guests to the list the morning of the wedding. Then, she's all mad because she's the mother of the bride and " She should be served first" so she barges into the kitchen and yells at the caterer's assistant. The assistant didn't know anything about the gluten free thing, so she makes a plate of regular pasta and serves it to angry mother of the bride and she ends up riding the amber lamps to the hospital. The judge sees how mother of the bride lady pretty much caused the problem herself by adding more guests and then not being able to wait for her gluten free pasta, so she actually rules that she needs to pay the caterer for the extra people they had to serve. Good for her! Then the oil change was done and we went back to Capitol.

Always friendly and helpful. More importantly they won't oversell you for your car repairs and maintenance. It's always a great place to go for your automobile needs and appointments are recommended!

My family has been taking our cars here for years to get serviced. They did a complete engine swap in a little over a week on my Jeep Wrangler. Always kept me in the loop. Super firendly, fast, and reliable. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to support local business!!

I took my truck in complaining of suspension issues front end noise and wanted the brakes inspected. They technician acknowledge an intermittent noise issue and stated they were unable to note any mechanical issues. I took my truck to another repair shop and they immediately recognized the noise and diagnose the issue with struts and mounts. Rutters was a waste of my time and performed incompetent service diagnosis. I would not recommend their service if they were unable to diagnose struts and mounts. They did not offer any explanation or identify which technician had done the evaluation of so they should ve been reprimanded for poor service issues.

Rutter's is my Go To for oil changes and other service. While the oil changes are great, their strength is in diagnosis of problems. My Jeep Liberty ('07) was recently there for an oil change but I mentioned a vibration on the appointment. I somewhat backed off and that request by the Rutter's team did not. What thy found was a badly worn rear universal joint. That was quickly replaced and the vibration is gone. But more importantly, the risk of me being stranded along the highway somewhere is gone. Thanks Chris and the team.

They are thorough, only charge you for what you need, and don't give you a lot of hand-wavy grease monkey talk when you need something fixed. Chris also provides a loaner car while your car is in the shop if you need it, not many garages do that.

Great people, really good mechanics, honest service and won't try and sell you something you don't need or want. I drive 40 minutes to see them just for regular maintenance.
