Prairie land towing is great. They monitor the highways and help anyone who needs help. The service is free. You will be towed to an park and ride so you will be safe from highway traffic. And the guy's are fantastic.

These guys are fantastic. They beat AAA s time by over 6 hours. Extremely professional, quick, and friendly. They seem to have the best towing technology as well I was so impressed by the truck lift. It really does the process along. I would strongly recommend their services and will be going back for sure.

Was easy to work with on the phone. Showed up on time. Was able to take two passengers. 7 mile tow cost $110. Dropped off right into my driveway.

I've always had great service with Prairie. I love that they come so quickly. I have roadside assistance with my auto insurance. I waiting Almost 2 hours for them to come. I called Prairie Land, and they were there in around 15 minutes. The gentleman who came was very nice. Will always call them when I'm having car problems. Thank you

Hours are different from the website and Google saying 24 hour towing AND SERVICE. Then you call because their hours say 9-3 M-F and 9-1 S-Su on the door. You're told it's appointment only when their dispatcher told you the night before they'd be open at 9am. I don't understand how you have so many different hours everywhere. On top of that, they cannot properly train staff and the dispatcher I talked to was snotty and horrible. Told multiple people that were waiting that it was going to be 25 min when somebody shows up then I gave them extra time when they didn't show up. Called again and she was rude again telling me to wait 10 more min. and tried to lie and say she told me that it was going to be 30 min. Guy ended up taking 45 min to get there with multiple parties waiting to get their cars back! Get it together.

Drivers here are great! My car broke down on a Friday night, and the service center that AAA directed us to was closed on Saturday. The driver didn't leave me there and towed my car to one that was open, and my car got fixed the next day at a very reasonable price! The driver was also very personal and interesting to talk to. My tow truck wait time was quite reasonable (45 min with city traffic). I would definitely recommend Prairie Land Towing! Call # 160030951

I usually never leave reviews for anything- so when I do I mean it! Prairie Land Towing came to my aid after calling AAA for the second time in one day. I am not car savvy at all, I was clearly upset and felt confused as what to do. To my aid came a guy named Joaquin- who was nothing but helpful and polite the entire time. He even explained to me everything he was doing as he was doing it- I felt much better knowing everything that was going on. He provided GREAT service- he helped tow my car home and understand the issue my car was having. Wonderful company- if I need towing again this is definitely the place to call! 160052921

I have a vehicle that had not been running for over a year. AAA contacted Prairie Land Towing and they were at my house within the time frame given.The driver's name was Nick. He introduced himself, then told me step by step what the process involves. He explained everything perfectly and was very knowledgeable and patient.I would definitely recommend Prairie Land Towing! I had a very negative experience with Prairie Land Towing.This last winter I got two tows from them in a row. The first one was contracted through the state to get me off the highway and the second was to get my car home from one of their own trucks. Unfortunately, the way my car was towed by their second truck through the snow the whole front section of my car was nearly pulled off. (The car was facing backwards during the tow and the front air dam acted like a shovel pulling snow into the front of the car.)I had a lot of back and forth with them, which at one point resulted in their rep saying they were responsible then later involved back tracking. Basically, they acted like it was impossible that they did they damage to my car, which was directly related to the tow. (The only way the damage could have resulted the way they thought it did was if I had driven down the highway backwards for a good while.)I ended up having to eat the deductible for their mistake. If you must use them take a lot of pictures before and after, and only let your car be towed on a flat bed truck.Maybe they're fine to deal with if you don't have a problem, but if you do it's a huge hassle and they act like you're making something up. I'm never having them touch another vehicle of mine again.

I'm a AAA Member and has been since 2004,but never had a bad experience until Saturday June 25, 2016 when I waited almost 2hrs. Just to be told that the tow company had to accommodate the police call first.I was so outraged with the dispatcher at this company, stated his name was (Wil ) who continued to give false info to me, then later cancelled the tow without my knowledge until I called back to AAA who tried to accommodate me by trying to get another tow company to come out which would have taken another hour. My advice to anyone dealing with this towing company is try and find a more reliable, competent, and professional company.

Had a great towing experience with Prairie Land Towing in Milwaukee! Lamonte was a consumate professional. Even though temperatures were near zero, he arrived within minutes! They got there quick, but when they got there they tried to drag my car on to a flat bed when the tire wasn't attached because the ball joint had broken. by attempting to drag my car on to a flat bed they turned a bad situation into a worse one y doing body damage, and ruing what was not broken yet on my suspension. they turned about 800 dollars worth of work into around $2500 to $3000 worth of work. probably the single worst towing experience of my life. they then said that this damage was to be expected during the towing process. the could have just used the wheel lift from the beginning and avoided all of the damage that they unnecessarily caused to my car.

Lamonte is the reason I went out of my way to write this review. He saved the day! He took his time and really did everything he could to make sure my car was properly taken care of. He actually fixed my car himself. It's good that they hire such knowledgeable and polite people. I will make sure to call Prairie Land when I need assistance from now on!

Call # 10372I called AAA for assistance with our disabled car and the dispatcher sent out a representative from Prairie Land Towing ("Lamonte") who quickly and correctly diagnosed and resolved our problem. If and when I ever need roadside assistance, again, I would definitely ask our service provider to please send out Prairie Land Towing . . . and specifically ask them to send out Lamonte, if he was available.

I just wanted everyone to know about the great service I had 8-4-14 from PLT. I have a 3 year old at home and a six month old so you know my attention is always needed. The tow driver called and said he was on his way. I explained to him I had to kids and said he would give me another call when he was here so I would have time to do what I needed. He understood that my hands were full and was polite and speedy with towing our car to where is needed to go. He informed me what he was going and I felt good knowing my car was in good hands. Thank you for being patience with my screaming children and busy lifestyle and towing my car with ease. I would recommend PLT to anyone in the area hands down! My Service call # 140039722

Don't bother calling they won't come. I was stuck on the side of the highway, and I called Prarie Land Towing. I don't live in the area, so I needed to be towed back to Chilton. I wanted to make that clear just in case there was any problem with driving so far. The person I talked to assured me that it wasn't a problem and they would have someone out to help me in about half an hour and they would call to let me know they were on their way. The half an hour passed, it was okay with me because I figured they were busy. I finally got a call an hour and 45 minutes later telling me that they weren't coming at all. Seriously do yourself a favor and call someone else!

My wife's BMW would not start. We thought it was the battery and called AAA for a start. After trying a number of things, a tow to the dealership was needed. A second call to AAA for a tow was done.Lamonte, Call #49324 -- arrived and prepared the car for towing. He was extremely careful and made sure the car was properly secured. We then drove to the dealership. At the dealership, they requested the car to be put inside the garage. Lamonte backed the car in and took all the towing equipment off the car. Not a scratch on the floor. Very professional job.Thanks for such a caring, hard working and skilled driver to take my wife's car in for repairs.

My son and his girlfriends car broke down and they were stranded on a busy Milwaukee street on Thursday November 6th. I came to help and called AAA which hooked us up with Prairie Land Towing. What great service! Our call (55584) was returned promptly by tow truck operator Lamonte and within a short time, the truck arrived on the scene. Lamonte was completely friendly, professional and efficient and in a short time, the disabled vehicle was transported to a local service station. Lamonte and Prairie Land Towing helped turn a difficult situation into a positive experience and I cannot say enough about the service we received. I highly recommend Prairie Land Towing if you need a tow in the Milwaukee area, or anywhere within their service area.

The towing is overpriced ($130 to go less than 2 miles) but that's not even the problem, I could have been ok with that. The problem is that when my ball joint broke (the wheel was on it's side, which is the reason for the tow), the driver tried to winch/pull the car onto the flatbed, the tire then moved and proceeded to crush the fender of the car and bending the strut (this happened at a gas station and is all on video camera as well). Once that happened, the driver assured that the company would contact us within 24-hours and pay for the damage. Only then did he decide to tow via wheel lift instead of pulling it onto the flatbed. Pulling a car up onto a flatbed when the tire is laying flat on the ground just doesn't make any sense and he should have wheel lifted from the beginning. If that is not bad enough, the company didn't contact us in 24-hours, so we contacted them. It took 2-days for the manager to get back with us to tell us that they are NOT going to cover the damaged they caused (he was also very rude and got loud with me when I challenged what he was saying)! So, I now had to file a claim with my insurance, which will be even more costly for the company than just fixing the damage they caused because they will pay for the rental car that is covered by my insurance as well.

Nick McFadden was my tow truck driver. He did a great job! I needed to call for a tow thru AAA. He responded within 5 minutes and was at my location within 15 minutes. He made sure that my truck was safely towed to my local service station, Welks Automotive on 84th and Layton.Excellent experience!Thank you

Prarie Land Towing consists of your standard inaffordable, inconsiderate, shady, try-and-get-every-last-penny-we-can-get towing company. They charge exporbiant fees including a 90 dollar "Special Equipment Fee" (I asked this was becuase they had to tow the car using a lift... which to me seems like pretty standard towing equipment) and an 150 dollar "Illegally Parked" fee. (it was parked in the lot of my apartment)Additionally, their hours are inhospitable to any normally functioning human being. (9-3) So that they can make sure to pick up extra dimes for storage.To any landlord or business: please choose a different towing company. These guys are crooks and will give your establishment a bad reputation.Service: Car towing
