Needed my battery replaced. Jim went above and beyond to get at my hard to access battery and replace it. He did so quickly and efficiently! Everyone in the shop was so kind and caring. It was one of the coldest days of the year and the warmth from the mechanics and workers made me feel so comfortable and at home! Such a wonderful family business!Thanks Milwaukee Auto Works team!

Milwaukee Auto is the best place I ve ever taken my car. They are super honest and do great work. They don t try to oversell you on things that aren t needed. I ll take all my cars there as long as they are around. 5 stars all the way!

This shop is very honest and does what is "right". I went to them with a question about my Toyota Tacoma, asking if they could fix my issue. Instead, they suggested what I could do to solve the problem myself. It worked and saved my much money.

The best MOST HONEST and REASONABLY priced services I ve ever used. I would recommend to anyone looking for affordable services and honest mechanics.. I just cannot say enough good things about Milwaukee auto-works..

I don't know much about cars, but am SO glad I received the recommendation to go here! Long story short, they solved my 6 month problem in 2 days. Come here if you want an honest mechanic!

I've never met such an honest car mechanic. They will not overcharge, and if there is a very quick fix to the car that takes only a minute, they will tell you and charge (or not charge) accordingly. I appreciate their kindness and willingness to help. In addition to working on our own cars, we once had a family staying with us who was in a very bad place already and then had a part of their car stolen. Nick was SO helpful in getting their van up and running and working with us to help them. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an honest car mechanic!

I called them for a quote to fix my driver's mirror. The plastic piece had broken off somehow. The guy I spoke with over the phone was so kind! He was honest and even offered to see if he can snap the broken plastic piece on for free before purchasing another one. I will go there for all my future car services!

I had a family living with me and his convertor got stolen. Absolutely is the worst experience I ve ever had, dropped off classic vehicle 7 months ago and gave authorization to repair and service vehicle..they misled and lied.. told me parts were available and just never ordered them, and then got mad because we called to find out the status of the vehicle and they did not like the way we talked to them because we asked them why they haven t fixed the vehicle so they just towed it to our parking lot and dropped it off..Service: Auto maintenance

Waiting for 4 hours for my insurance, to find me a tow company. I finally called them back and I said listen I need somebody I'm tired of waiting in my car and they hooked me up with Your Company. I was very satisfied, with the arrival he called to tell me he was going to be there within 10 minutes and I was happy because I didn't have to wait in the car so long. The driver's name was Chris, and I do recommend your towing company to my friends and I will be using you as a towing company if I ever need you again. Thank you very much for your service it was great.

This company started off very reputable towards allmy car repairs. Very professional and very friendly starting off. However after a certain time, they stopped with all manner of professionalism regarding calls and behaviors. Even offered a nice fee to them if they offered to look after my older car and help to sell it. Car was working fine initially, but then suspiciously ended up in a junkyard inoperable from a destroyed brake line. Do yourselves a favor, go to another repair shop. These guys will betray in the end, if you give them enough leeway.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

I was initially planning to replace the rear pads and rotors myself, but I didn't really want to, so I decided to check with Milwaukee Auto Works first. They are nearby and I had a good experience with them in the past. For the price they quoted me, it didn't make much sense for me to do it myself. Then, when I went to pay, I was told it actually came out to be cheaper than what I was quoted. Sweet! Brakes work great, are super quiet, and the pads and rotors that were used come with a lifetime warranty.Service: Brakes

I have been going to them for 5 years. They have never steered me wrong, they are very reasonable and never overcharge. They treat women well and never downplay women. They do great work and have kept my dodge caravan in working order WELL past its time. It is still running with over 211,000 miles and mostly due to the great work that Milwaukee Auto Works does. I recommend them to all my friends and anyone that needs repairs that are reasonable

These folks are beyond honest. Have gone there a few times and won't go anywhere else. Last time I went to get wheel bearings changed and they ended up doing two two for the price of one because they said both were making noise but didn't want to charge me more than what they said on the phone. They fix what's needed, they do a good job and they're super nice about it. A friend of mine went there and they treated her really well too.

I have been a customer at this shop for several years and will never go back again after I witnessed the owners of the shop abusing many customers cars by shifting them from drive to reverse many times while the vehicle is driving forward. They want you to pay cash so they avoid paying taxes. I wish google had an option to give zero stars. Do yourself a favor and go to another auto repair shop if you want your vehicle actually repaired and in a timely manner! They tell you a time your vehicle will be done but put every other cash vehicle that comes in after you before you!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

Nice on the phone but never heard back. I have an older car and they were recommended as a great shop that could work on it. I called on a Thursday and they said no problem and would call me right back and the car would be picked up (needed a tow) Friday. Never heard back. Friday I called because I wanted to let them know that I also would like new tires and they confirmed they would be getting the car but never came to get it. I waited until Tuesday and called to see if they were still going to be able to work on it they said they would call right back in 15 minutes they just needed to set up to have it brought in. Never called me back.I don't mind if they aren't able to work on the car, and I'm not even in a big rush to have it fixed, but I didn't like how they kept telling me they would call and come get it but never did. I would have been totally fine with it has they just said they aren't able to work on it or they are to busy working on other cars.

I had just traveled from Florida and had some problems with the starting of my car. Panicked I just stopped in without an appointment. Everyone was so kind. They took a look and fixed whatever it was. (I know nothing about cars and call everything the thingy.) I definitely recommend them and I will be back if there are any issues with my car in the future.

The guys over at Milwaukee Auto a truly great. I take my personal vehicle as well as our company van to this shop and the work is always top-notch. Their prices are extremely reasonable and quite honestly some of the cheapest I have seen in the market. I needed a quote for a catalytic converter and the price at MKE Auto Works was hundreds less than the shop I used to go to. Very knowledgeable staff and owner. Nick runs an outstanding business. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality service, great prices and a knowledgeable staff.

I had three bad experiences with them. They did attempt to correct after the unsafe work to my car although all three times that they worked on my car it was unsafely done or returned back with something else damaged in the area. I do not recommend them.

I found this place a few years ago when they were on Loomis. Nick is friendly, knowledgeable, and does not overcharge. I'd highly recommend them to anybody on the south side who is looking for a 'car guy' for all their auto repairs.Side note: I took a look at the 1-start review somebody posted 2 years ago regarding a 'life-threatening situation' at MKE Auto. That guy must have the wrong place, because Nick has the most integrity I've ever seen at a car shop.

My whole family as well, only take our cars here. By far the best and most professional place I've ever dealt with. If your looking for someone to truely fix your vehicle and be honest about it, here you go.

MILLWAUKEE AUTO REPAIR WAS A GOD SEND FOR ME, NICK, HIS DAD AND HIS BROTHER RUNS THE SHOP, I'M FROM CLEVELAND, OHIO AND MY 04 YUKON DENALI STARTED ACTING UP, I GOOGLED AUTO REPAIR AND MILWAUKEE AUTO REPAIR POPPED UP, THOSE 3 GUY'S ARE THE BEST AT WHAT THEY DO, NO WORDS CAN EXPLAIN HOW THEY TREATED ME, THEY DESERVE 10 STARS THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH GUY'SService: Electrical repair

Horrible. I dropped my car off at 9am to have a alternator installed. The guy I talked to said it would be done later that day. At 3pm I called to see how things were going. A guy answered the phone and I said hi this is Ryan with the Saturn. He said "yeah what do you want"? I said I was wondering about the car. He said it's not going to be done today. I was surprised because I had been told by another guy 6 hours earlier it would be done within a couple hours. I said well it's just an alternator and he said that's like saying it's just an engine. I then hung up and went to go retrieve my car because I had never been treated so rudely from a business. When I got there I asked for my keys and all of a sudden 4 guys all encircled me and started threatening me saying I was gonna get my face punched in. I couldn't believe what was transpiring. I was scared for my life at that point and just wanted to get out alive. My keys ended up being in the ignition and I got in my car as one of the guys followed me all while saying he was gonna "mess me up" as I drove off. STAY AWAY unless your prepared to have your life threatened because they lied to you about something and you call them on it.

Had an excellent experience, very honest and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone that needs work done on their vehicles. I will be a life long costumer.
