These guys are great. Always so friendly and helpful. I had to get my transmission redone, which didn't turn out right the first time (bad part from Ford), and they had no problem taking it back after a few weeks to re-redo it. No extra charge!! They stand behind their work and that's important to me.

The only way you re going to be taken for a ride at this shop, is when you drive yourself home in your freshly repaired vehicle! Super honest and thorough staff had me back on the road in no time at all!

Great shop, Great customer service. They rebuilt and upgraded the trans in my Doge 3500 Cummins . Work was performed in a timely fashion and truck was returned on the scheduled date. Fast fwd. 2 months, something happened with the shift linkage which sometimes wouldn't allow the truck to be shifted from park. Called Tom and took the truck in the following day. Not only did they get it diagnosed and repaired right away, They also covered the repair under the warranty. Tom is a man of his word!Service: Transmission

I needed work on my F150 and estimates from other places where $1200 to $2500 with up to 2 months wait for back ordered parts. My truck wasn't safe to drive so I found a part myself and 7 other places wouldn't put it in. These guys had a common sense solution and it costs half of the other lowest estimate. This business deserves less than one star. I bought a converter for a diesel truck that was supposed to be heavy duty and it broke after 400 miles. I was told it must be my trans and not the converter. I had my ats converter rebuilt due to mileage and installed in my truck and I'm back on the road. My ats converter now has 1300 miles on it. Shaking this converter I can her broken stuff rattling around. It cost me $1500 for this converter, and $3000 to get me back home from Indiana where it left me and my family stranded. My core converter would have been a better option than this piece of junk. I was nice on the phone hoping for at least some kind of common ground but was told to pound sand. They said they cant rebuild a ford c6 transmission. They said cant get parts. Ford made these from 1966 through 1996. Parts are definitely available. I will take my business elsewhere

Dropped our car off Wednesday afternoon, no appointment. Transmission was repaired by Friday noon. This was after 2 other places wouldn't look at it based on the engine codes. Another place had a 2 week waiting period. Most places said a new transmission was needed. Tom and his crew checked out our 2008 Saturn Outlook, said the transmission was fine, and it just need some new valves. Car runs great and for a fraction of the cost other places quoted to replace the complete transmission.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

I was referred to Dunham Transmission by my mechanic. My 2007 Honda needed a new transmission . I spent over $2200. After one year , I had to take it back due to the transmission going again. It was under warranty but due to Covid, they wouldn t work on it. They finally looked at it in July and had to rework the transmission. Fast forward 6 weeks and my car is doing the same thing, hard shifting into 2nd. When I call Tom, all he can say is it isn t under warranty . Poor customer service. I have been telling everyone I know not to use them. 50 years in business and they feel they can treat people like that. I know a good transmission place is difficult to find, but keep searching. I brought my truck in because the check engine light was on and was giving me a transmission error code. They checked everything out, reset the codes, and took it for a test ride. They said a faulty main computer may have triggered the error codes but that my transmission was fine. Total charge $0! If I do have any problems in the future they'll definitely be getting my business.

Can say enough praises about this shop. I dropped off a transmission and within 24 hours I received a call that it was ready for pickup. These guys know there stuff . Professional all the way from the first time I stopped in until the repairs were done.Thanks John

Got my trans done by the guys there within 2 weeks after christmas, guys are very professional and courteous to what was wrong with my vehicle, very polite. I have had No Issues Yet, since I got my car back. it's a cold january atm with snow days and my wheels and I are rolling perfectly.. Tom and friends 5 from me so far

This will be my #1 spot to go for transmission work from now on. I won't even waste my time getting estimates from any other place.I have a 2001 Ford Escape with 216,000 miles on it and the transmission went bad recently. I wasn't sure if I wanted to finally junk it, or not. Dunhams gave me a good estimate and rebuilt the entire transmission exactly as they said they would. There were no surprises. They got the job done and I'm very happy with it. I've never written a review for Google before, but I'm very happy with it. They warranteed the tranny for 2 years or 24000 miles which makes me feel like I made a good decision going to Dunhams. A+

Used their converters for years. Never had one come back that I can remember. From one transmission shop to another. They do great work. Orginzed, precise and always helpful

All I want from a auto repair shop is to not get taken advantage of and Dunham's came through for me. I brought my car in because the gears ground going into 2nd gear and went into 3rd hard. I wouldn't have been surprised if they had diagnosed bad syncros and clutch to the tune of a couple thousand dollars. Instead, they called and told me that my floor mat had been pushed up under the clutch pedal. And the final bill was $0.00!!!! I feel like a goof, but am extremely happy to have found my "go to" place all of my transmission issues.Thanks, Dunham Transmissions

Over priced and assumed the transmission needed to be replaced regaurdless of the problem when it was just a snap ring and was done at another shop in 2hrs. Apparently its a common problem for the transmission that needed repair.

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE SHOP DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!! They broke a seized bolt on my rack and pinion - aligned the car and tightened it as best they could to avoid any additional charges. RUINED OUR $15,000 CAR after giving them $3,500 worth of business to fix the transmission. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
