I absolutely love this place! Very unique and fun place to bring family or friends! One of my favorite drinks to get is the Fish Bowl and the champagne bath tub drink (large mimosa). Last two times I came and ordered bath tub drink they ran out of ducks, so I was sad my drinks didn t come with one. I was still charged same price for drink though. I am a collector of rubber ducks so that s why I was bummed. Food is amazing I recommend the Angel burger and cheesy tots. The cheese sauce is so delicious!! I rate 4/5, there s always a 1 hour time limit when I go there. We are asked if we can leave our table because next group is coming in. Which I do understand if people set reservations and there s only a certain amount of tables/space. Just something not familiar with.

2nd time we visited this establishment.I love the vibe in the place. All the decor really brings me back. The food is lacking a bit in the flavor department. The burger is very bland and basic.Their shakes are dressed up really fun, but are a bit strong for me.If your looking for a fun nostalgic experience, for sure 100% check them out. It's worth the experience in my opinion.

First visit to Don's TV & Repair speakeasy/diner. The fun started right away when they asked for a "secret" code word in order to be allowed to enter. Clues were provided, and I got it right with my first guess.Great atmosphere and amazing staff. The food was fun and there was plenty of it ... lots of leftovers! The "Boozy Shake" was a BIG hit! We tried a menu favorite, but next time I may take advantage of the option to "create your own"If you go, DEFINITELY make a reservation. Tho fairly empty when we arrived at 11:30am on a Saturday, it was packed by the time we left.As we were celebrating a birthday, we did linger a bit long after our meal. I appreciated that the staff never made us feel rushed even tho they were clearly very busy

Mine and my dates first speakeasy and it sure did not disappoint! I had a fantastic time here, the food is good, the drinks are excellent and have very fun names and items they are serving them in like mimosa boats. They come in plastic bathtubs with rubber ducks in them and a couple were very much enjoying them! Our server was excellent and very cool .my date asked her to bring a variety of food and she did not disappoint she picked some wonderful menu items for him to try and served it on a platter similar to a tv dinner. I had the chocolate chip pancakes which were good but honestly for me the atmosphere, service and drinks is what makes this place 5 star!!We had such a wonderful time that we decided to bless our server with over a $100 tip which she highly appreciated and deserved. On a side note I just wanted to add that I accidentally left my prescription glasses here and although it took 3 calls they DID locate them and I have them back!! Thank you so much Don s for an amazing time and for finding my glasses.I tell everybody I meet now to go to Don s.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly

My 8 year old son instructed me to mark Don's a 10/10. He will never forget this place and the 80 cent Mac n cheese on Sundays.Kid-friendliness: Be a better parent. Bring your kids here.

Fun little restaurant with an 80s/90s theme, good food and great drinks. Enter through the storefront, give the counter clerk the password and enter the restaurant through the secret door. Inside is small and decked out with tons of period nostalgia. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. Drinks were outstanding, best Wisconsin old fashioned I've tasted for a good while and the boozy shake was fun. The food was good. Not as good as the drinks, but still good. Fish fry and chicken sandwiches were great, cheese curds pretty good but the pizza fries a little underwhelming. Music is kind of loud for chatting, but period accurate and not obnoxiously loud. We were in and out in 45 minutes. Didn't feel like we could stay any longer. I like to leave a good tip, but I'm not a big fan of 18% being added to every bill for everyone and then another tip being solicited for your server. Pay your staff.

Fun little place to go but.. I loved the concept! The execution was a little lacking. I'm not sure there was any alcohol in any of our drinks. I had enough to get a nice buzz but, failed to get that. Our waitress was wonderful! Made recommendations and even convinced us we can't leave without having a milkshake 1st. Just a wee bit of work and this place would be a destination for sure!

A visit to a Milwaukee speakeasy , so nice. I went there twice in one night! If you want to treat yourself and your party and go to a real speakeasy you go to Don's, not the other place ..I originally went for a birthday party, but had so much a good time at the party that I ended up inviting friends and my fiance to join me and do a second party just to enjoy the atmosphere more. Food is great, but the drinks are what you're going in for including the "not a shower beer-mosa " that includes a rubber duck!Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful when picking items and adding to overall eccentric atmosphere. Was just a fun place to be on a Friday night with all the nostalgia for decorations and drinks, and just a heads up for fellow explorers you're going to need a password! A reservation might help to..Can't Wait to get more people through THIS speakeasy...cheers!

So we went to Don's T.V. Repair for my brother's Birthday. We all got different burgers, with different sides. We also had some Different drinks. The one thing I wouldn't get again would be the crock pot old-fashioned way to much Ice and not enough drink for the price. My nephew had one of the Ice cream drinks that looked and tasted very good. In the End I would go back for the food, service and atmosphere.Parking: Your parking options are 1st street , and some of the side streets. Be aware of the time limit signs most side streets allow 2 hours.

Reservation recommended! Attempted to go to Don's on a Friday night but could not get a table. We decided to go back on a Sunday for brunch (with a reservation). The set up of the restaurant/store is quite unique. Upon entering the building, we were first in the store part of the business- a very small room with the check in counter and cash register. To enter, we provided the secret password and were then led through a freezer door into the restaurant. The decor is old 80s/90s with old Disney movies playing on box tvs. We had a couple laughs reminiscing. Food portions are huge! I enjoyed the veggie breakfast burrito. I would not recommend the mimosa flight. Flavors were not identifiable and not good. Very fun experience overall.

Pretty cool theme, great service, but honestly the food wasn't that great for the money. For the four of us we had 3 burgers and chicken tenders, 4 shakes, the bill was over $110. The burgers were nothing to write home about, I've had way better at Culver's for half the price. But for the experience I'm glad I went but nothing to go back for.

If you re looking for a fun time and a great atmosphere Don s TV Repair is a great option. From the fun and interactive way to get in to the amazing decor inside of the restaurant you re going to be in for a great time.Once you re in, the amazing themed drinks that are not only conversation starters but actually really good will keep the high energy and fun flowing through the evening. The food is okay, it s nothing to rant and rave about but it s not horrible either. If you re coming to Don s it s for a great time and good drinks not a five star menu.

Amazing...entry kinda threw me off, but the world opened up to low cost food that is amazing...definitely worth the cheat meal...great service, amazing food! I had the birria burrito, great...fruity pebble waffles, good balance of both waffle and fruity pebbles (not excessive), had a smoothie, which was full of sweetness but worth it, taste didn't disappoint. all for under 30$ with 2 ppl. Highly recommended

First, our server was awesome! After confirming it was our first time dining at this establishment, he explained the different menus, special shake and etc.Now on to the ambiance- It's a diner, with a retro aesthetic and it's pretty dim. The tables were really clean, from what I could see and there was anime playing on the screen. I'm an anime lover, but there wasn't any sound, so I enjoyed the visuals. Maybe that was a good thing or I wouldn't have focused on eating my food.We ordered the breakfast melt, taco fries with over easy eggs, custom shake and grandma's got a new wig. Everything was brought out pretty quickly and was delicious. It's a really decent serving of food and we definitely needed to-go containers. My beverage was loaded to the top with ice, which I knew would probably happen. I wouldn't purchase it again, but the presentation is cute.

Small speakeasy in Walker's Point offering all day breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, sides, kids menu and creative cocktails. They also serve a fish fry "all day every day". Make your reservation online, and when you arrive ask the counter person for an Ice Cold 7up. Next thing you know you're sitting in a room filled with red light ordering cocktails in fun, creative glasses. I ordered a Don's Old Fashioned and Cheesy Jalapeo Brisket Wrap, and the table shared the Cheesy Tots and Taco Fries, which each came with small sides of salsa and sour cream. The Old Fashioned was perfect in taste and size, and the Wrap was big but manageable with lots of flavor. This is a great spot for dinner with friends or the family. Fun, creative and worth more than one visit.

Went for my moms birthday and we had a great time! It was easy to find and the staff was amazing. Everyone was so helpful and kind. That really stood out to me. The food was also really good and not over priced. The drinks were so fun and I wanted to try them all! Highly recommend the donuts.

I went with a group of 8 for my birthday for a Sunday brunch, and we all loved it. The shakes were delicious and looked amazing. They do take some time to prepare, so be patient! The food came out so fast, though, and it tasted great. We loved the 80s themed with the old tvs and the gremlins and vintage gaming systems. The service was great as well. Carmen (I think that's her name) was attentive and personable.Kid-friendliness: We brought my nieces (7 and 10) and they loved their milkshakes. They liked the speakeasy experience walking in through the grocery store front.
