I've been here twice about 12 years apart and had goodluck with them. Most recently I brought my audi q7 to them for a minor accident. I was in wondering if it needed more than an alignment. They thought there was more to it than that after an inspection and didn't have the equipment or want to repair it and charged me nothing. Glad they didn't just start replacing unnecessary parts. They weren't overly nice which I appreciate in a mechanic. Don't expect a bunch of hugs and smiles

I was interested in purchasing a truck, and brought it to them to check out prior to buying it. I asked them to check it over completely and to drive it and they indicated l was well. Come to fi d out there were a number of issues that should have been caught by a licensed mechanic but didn't, leaving me with a $5K bill after I purchased said truck. They do fine on brakes and oil changes.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Gerry and Marie really went above and beyond helping me get my 15 year old Subaru up and running safely and securely so I could pass emissions. I came in with my check engine light and a few other issues, they were promptly taken care of. Gerry even came by to jump my car so I could get it to the shop to be looked at, noticed my battery cable was loose and took care of that too. I am blown away by the level of service and will continue to be a loyal customer.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery, Oil change

This place has saved us more times than I can count. Always efficient and fairly priced, they've kept our old cars running for years. We're very lucky to have them in our neighborhood.

Great experience at Bay View Service today!I had 4 new tires put on my Hyundai Elantra at another location and was in need of an alignment as the place I purchased my tires does not offer that service. Lucky for me, Bay View Service was able to take my car the same day!I was very impressed with the service. My alignment is perfect and now I know that I'll get the best life out of my new tires.I will be back for oil changes and other services in the future. I truly appreciate the time and care they spent on my car today!They also have a great rewards program!

Have been taking our cars here off and on for over 10 years and had a variety of experiences both good and bad. Overall there's more good to be said: super fast turnaround time if you have an appointment, fair pricing compared to another area small shop, little upsell, convenient hours for weekday workers, a really generous rewards program that includes gift cards for area businesses. Regarding the bad: just practice good consumer habits like checking all work and reporting your concerns immediately and they'll respond accordingly.

I was at Bay View Service this morning for routine service and I have to say it was great. Service was quick, friendly and completed well. They have an awesome rewards program that support other local businesses in Bay View. I am used to going to a dealership for service, and I feel I did not sacrifice a thing going to Bay View Service. I got great service and supported a local business. Oh and I found out a cool piece of Bay View history. This shop used to be a Sinclair station!

I believe in small business, and so today. I will take my car back to them anytime I have a problem. Big or small, they're willing to look at everything, and I've always given me honest feedback and repair guidelines. They also do this interesting thing where depending on how much money you spend, they will give back to you gift cards for other businesses in the area to help support small business. The staff is friendly and social, and I definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs their car repaired.

First time ever taking my vehicle into Bay View Service. Overall I was pleased with the experience. I was having an issue with my brakes which other repair shops couldn t identify. BVS identified the problem and charged labor to correct the issue. Noticing that my front tires were worn badly they let me know they could replace them with the same tires I had on the rear, which was great seeing that Winter is here. They were also able to program my key fob for far less than I would ve paid at the dealership. As I said, pleased overall. Only hesitation to going back is I wish they would ve been more transparent about the additional $150 going into getting the new tires. They sold me on a range for price per tire, though didn t mention the rest. Lesson learned.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Brakes

This was my first experience with the folks at Bayview Service and I can say nothing but great things. I usually do my own mechanical work but I can't change/balance tires and I received fantastic service. They fit me in the next day and had me back on the road a couple hours later. I am not going to hesitate using them again. Thank you!

Service Review (Honda Accord)I needed a headlight bulb change on the driver side. Usually I go to Firestone but they were busy due to snow from the day before. This was only place had availability. I go in, they change it for me but as soon as my car got out. All of the sudden my car had 2 new issues. Radio did not work & my Bluetooth. Also Turing my headlights on. My dashboard light goes off. But when my headlights is off. My dashboard lights up. They made it, do the opposite. I came the next day. Explain my issue, still got no call back to follow up the issue. I did not have these issues before & all of suddenly 30min after I have these issues. My car is well taken care off. This place is a scam & unprofessional. Do not come here!

Gerry has been servicing all my vehicles for many years. I have also referred quite a few other customers to him. They always have been honest and more than reasonable with my repairs. Gerry will go out of his way to work within your budget and has always stood behind his work.People need to understand that some problems have multiple causes and some problems may not show up until the others have been repaired.I rank Bayview Service as 1 of the friendliest and honest of the neighborhood shops.

My 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse didn't pass an emissions test due to a loose wire. We took it to Bay View Service, who charged $110 to replace said wire. Took the car back to be tested only to have it fail again. People there said it was a loose wire. Explained that it had been repaired. Fortunately, the guy doing the testing remembered my car and noticed that the tape on the wire was the same tape that was there last week. The wire hadn't even been touched.When we had the work 'done' they gave us a card for a year's worth of free roadside assistance. It was already expired.

The woman was nice there but I got there about 5pm and asked for my Tags to be drilled in my car and she told me in a kind way that the guys already left and I thanked her and left and she said come back tomorrow before 4 pm and I said okay and I left because I went to another location but it's strange how no one was there to do something simple when the hours said they end at 6pm. The hours for this location is false online

Great local shop for small repairs. They're my go to for brakes and oil changes. They even helped adapt an ill-fitting hitch kit to my Honda Fit.

As of 8/30/2021 Spoke with very nice lady who has stated they do not do emissions testing and they never have -- unfortunately google has not removed this from the search results yet.

I have used Bayview service a few times now and they have always found the problem and fixed in a timely manner as well as extremely reasonable prices (I got a few estimates). The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definately recommend to others!!

Service was quick and reasonably priced. They clearly explained everything that needed to be done and why and treated me as an equal. Needed service in a pinch and they were able to accommodate me. Likely going to be a repeat customer!

These people at the shop do not know s*** they said I needed an outer control arm and then I go under there to fix it myself and it's the inner control arm they don't know if s*** and then they went to replace a brake line and charge me $300 because that's it because I told him that's all I had to my name for a goddamn break line that still leak I don't even want to give him one star if it's possible to give him none I would horrible don't ever go there
