Had a problematic transmission diagnosed and replaced in 2022 for a very reasonable price. Came back in 2024 after repair warranty had expired for a noticeable leak of what appeared to be transmission fluid. Received an honest response after a thorough look that the transmission was in great shape and leak was actually engine oil. Was quoted a fair price to fix the oil leak but with the miles on vehicle had to pass on repair. Will continue to send referrals your way!

The staff at Accurate was amazing. When I started calling for quotes on repairing the transmission in my Cadillac SRX everywhere I called just told me they couldn t do it, but the staff at Accurate went the extra mile to find out why they couldn t get parts. They were the only ones who got to the bottom of the problem and were able to explain to me why it would cost so much if we wanted to have the repairs completed. I truly appreciated the honesty and the integrity they showed. While we did not have the work done, they earned any future business from me.

Our dealership worked with Accurate Transmission Specialists to replace our 2012 Camry s transmission under warranty. There were some complications and the first replacement ended up having problems too. But, they went above and beyond and really put in there due diligence. After multiple times testing out the car car they honored the 6 month warranty and replaced it again free of charge. It s been months now and the car works great! Sometimes stuff just happens but it s what you do to amend the issue that matters. I am highly satisfied and thankful for the outcome. We would do business with them again. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Ive never had such a great experience (with a bad situation) with a repair shop in over 30 years. My transmission went out of course at the worst time and place. From my initial call to Jean, her arranging the vehicle tow (which was very reasonable cost wise), to completing the vehicle repairs in less than a week, was the best experience I've ever had with a service shop. That's says a lot given that it was my transmission. She kept me updated on not only finding a used trans. But also the progress of the repairs. Knowing that money for me was extremely tight, she pulled a miracle off for me on price and an extended warranty.Jean and the rest of the Accurate Team was great to work with and made this repair process the best it could've been. I would refer them to anyone and I have. They are truly AWESOME!!

2014 GMC Yukon DenaliWas not shifting properly. I went to three transmission repair shops for this problem. All of them quoted me a new transmission from between 4 and $5,000. Accurate gave me the option of replacing a control module for $1500.That is the route I went and it solved my problem and I am extremely satisfied with every aspect of my experience.Service: Transmission repair

I brought my 96 Windstar in after the transmission grenaded itself (common issue with front wheel drive minivans) and these guys did a great job fixing it. It drives better than it really ever did, and I'm finally seeing the gas mileage it should have been getting. The rebuild is under warranty and they do a checkup after 2 weeks to make sure everything is OK. The people here are nice as well, and on top of things!

Jean was excellent help in finding me a used transmission. My positive review will stay as such, as long as they honor the 6 month warranty, if I need to use it.Thanks again, was a hard part to find.

Overall great experience. Had an older model Heavy Duty truck showing signs of weakness in the transmission, and took here. The manager of the shop, Jean, is incredibly literate on transmissions and build me a very nice billet torque converter set up, added a shift kit, and re-flashed the ECM to make sure it was up to the latest update. They install made-in-America Precision billet torque converters, go the extra mile for quality. Turn around time was great, even let me come in mid-build to see how it all came together! Furthermore, Jean road-tested the truck for me and confirmed all was good upon the warranty check-up! Would definitely recommend to anyone with a HD truck application, or any other transmission needs! Honest shop, great work!

Poor quality work. They use shotty rtv gasket maker instead of proper gaskets. Truck leaked fluids all over my driveway because of it. They cut corners and overcharge for the work. Only given 2 starts because the only thing they did right was fixing my trans.

My transmission failed and I had it rebuilt in September 2014 (7 years and about 85,000 miles ago) and it is still working great. Cost was about $2,300 back in 2014 but it was well worth it.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

CONSUMER BEWARE!!! I will start this review out by disclosing that I am NOT one to write reviews for anything, but this experience was so strange that I felt obligated to do so.......moving forward here was my experience with Accurate Transmission and the staff that works there......I brought my 02 mini van in for a slipping transmission issue and after inspection I was quoted $340.35 for a used transmission pan including labor as well as $451.62 for an Alternator replacement.I proceeded to get the transmission pan replaced as I could get an Alternator replacement elsewhere for around $300 (Toor Auto down the road....excellent service there). When I came to pick up the van the total charged was now $461.84 with no explanation for the change in price. In a rush, I didn't balk at the price and left only to find my ignition was messed up to the point where I could not turn the ignition off without the battery being drained (in time battery would die in the condition it was left in unless engine was left running). Realizing this right away, I went back into Accurate without leaving Accurate s parking lot and had Jean (the manager in charge) come take a look. To make a long story short, there no was explanation given as to why it was left in this condition, and even worse no apology for the incident. After haggling to come to an agreement about the situation, Jean reluctantly did finally agree to (and adamantly said that this was the absolute best refund she could give) was to take off the price of the parts which came to $90.13 as well as giving me a phone number of a locksmith who could drive out to Accurate and install a new ignition for me at a cost of $152.06.....which I had to pay for.......So $152.06 - $90.13 (refund) = $61.93 out of my pocket Locksmith guy came out right away (awesome guy and did great work from "Auto Locksmith Milwaukee") and an hour later I was off to take the van to Toor Auto to take care of the Alternator. As I'm driving the 2ish miles over to Toor Auto, I IMMEDIATELY (and by immediately I mean while I m still in Accurate s parking lot) realize that the brakes were incredibly soft and it was very hard to even brake to the point of stopping. The check engine light also came on during my short journey over. Proceeding with extreme caution, I arrived at Toor Auto safely and notified them about the changes in the brakes and engine light. I'm not a huge car guy, so in my head I'm thinking that it may be part of an electrical component in the brakes with which the bad Alternator might be affecting them. I learned that would not be the case when I dropped it off to Toor Auto, but that they would check it out for me and let me know what they find.Next day I get a call from Toor saying that the new alternator was installed but the brake problem was due to a flex brake line being broken/pulled out which coincidentally happens to be right next to the transmission pan that was installed the day prior at Accurate Transmission. Needing my work vehicle back, as well as being advised to the extreme danger of driving the vehicle without the flex brake line, I proceed with getting the flex brake line replaced at Toor for an additional cost of $150 with which Alex (Toor Auto's Manager) knocked $50 off (without me even asking for it) given the circumstances.>>>>>CONTINUED>>>>>>>>

>>>>>CONTINUED>>>>>>>>Fast forward to all work being done and additional costs being paid for out of my pocket, it was pretty obvious to me that the flex brake line damage was done when the transmission pan work was taken care of by Accurate. And also learning that the flex brake line is right next to the Transmission Pan as well as the brakes not having any issues before I took the van to Accurate (I had gotten new brakes installed only 6 months prior.)So at this point I felt that another financial agreement needed to be reached between myself and Accurate Transmission for the additional damaged they caused. So I give Jean a ring over at Accurate and when she answered the phone I say: "Hey Jean, how's it going? This is S******* with the Maroon 02 Dodge mini van and I hate to say it but I unfortunately have another bone to pick with you."........and this is where it gets weird...........so right after I say this, Jean starts saying ...."Hello? Hello? I can't hear you?" .......and proceeds to hang up on me......so I call back....phone rings 6 times....Jeans answers again....I introduce myself and Jeans starts saying "Hello?, Hello?, Hello? Are you there?".....while the whole time I'm saying the same thing like a bad Verizon commercial, can you hear me now?......and she hangs up again. Laughing, I immediately give my brother a call making sure that nothing is wrong with my phone. He answers right away .so my phone is fine. Giving Jean the benefit of the doubt, I ask my brother to call Accurate on his phone just in the case that their phone system was having problems. So he gives them a call and talks with them with no issue. So there it is. In a Nutshell Accurate Transmission:1.) Cost me an additional $60 ($150 - $90 refund) for the ignition2.) Cost me an additional $100 for the flex brake line (not to mention cost Toor Auto $50 for the discount they gave me)3.) Charged me $120 more than was quoted to me on the phone for the Transmission Pan Replacement.4.) Put me in danger driving a vehicle with no brakes (not by any means saying it was on purpose)5.) Act like Bart Simpson on the phone when you try to confront themAt BEST I would say Accurate Transmission has Shady Business Practices and am not surprised to read that they have been sued by a prior review in this post thread . If you read this, sorry it s so long winded, but again I felt it necessary given the childish behavior that transpired not to mention the danger I was put in for having my brake line pulled (again NOT by any means saying it was on purpose).

If you have transmission problems there's no better place! They do a diagnostic test for just over $100 but if you decide to get it repaired with them the fee is waved. Don't wait longer than you should, get a specialist to take a look!
