*UPDATED REVIEW from a 3 ** After having this car for less than 7 months, I began to noticed an issue with the drivers window rolling up and figured I would take it to get fixed. Well, after a full car inspection, there is over $3,000 worth of issues that they said have clearly been there for years and deemed my car unsafe to drive until it gets fixed. I paid OVER $10,000 for this car to now have to pay an additional $3,000 when Greg said he did ALL of the work on this car, and fixed absolutely any issues with this. Clearly he's a con man, a scam artist, and a snake. NEVER SHOP HERE.**ORIGINAL REVIEW**I wanted to badly to give this place a 5star, but after today and seeing who Greg is changed my mind.We bought a car from Greg within the last 35 days, during the entire buying process Greg laid on thick how if anything happened we had us. Hw would fix it. We wouldn't have to worry. He told me while handing us the key that if a light needed to be replaced, a fuse, whatever it is to call him and he would take care of us.Fast forward to one day shy of a month, our tire sensor goes out. We call him, and he is flexible with us getting it fixed because we live over an hour and a half away. He reiterated he would take care of us, and not to worry. We go in, and he tells us it'll be X amount. We told him we were confused and he said he would take care of us. He tells us "Yeah, fix it. Not fix it for free." The ENTIRE conversation he is calling my husband by the wrong name, my husband corrects him each time and Greg refuses to correct himself.It was slimy, disrespectful, rude, and showed us who he really was. He did tell us we could go somewhere else...after they had the car in and were working on it.It was an absolute joke, Greg only cares about getting the sale, then he's done. I have never seen a care place, used or new, refuse to fix and problem less than 90 days after purchase. EVEN AFTER SAYING THEY HAVE A 90 DAY GUARANTEE. Here's to hoping the car is as good as it seems now. Don't go here. Any place would be better.

Got a used car from Greg and he seemed like a trustworthy person. He was kind and stated that if I ever needed any repairs on the car that I could bring it in anytime and he d be happy to take care of it. Less than two months later, the car was leaking oil. Also, the check engine light was coming on often. Soon, I noticed a loud scraping noise coming from the rear of the car. In addition, the power seats stopped working. I brought the car to Greg and explained all the issues. He states the oils was leaking due to a broken gasket so he replaced that and did an oil change. Fixing the power chairs was too expensive because he stated it was the wiring. The loud metal scraping noise I was told was an issue with the emergency brake. The e brake was falling down and scraping against something. I should have ask to se it and asked more questions, because less than six months late the exact same problem is happening. I also paid for a new battery in my key fab and it started to die two months later. I feel that there were use batteries put in it. The big item is that the check engine light was on because the car needs a new catalytic converter. When I asked why none of these items were even looked at before selling the car, he stated that since I negotiated a lower price that they didn t look for any repairs the car may need. Even though I paid $14,000 for the car! It had $120,000 miles on it and is a 2015. I felt that Greg was very defensive and rude about any questions I asked. I m going to take the car in to get the emergency brake issue fixed again, but I m going somewhere else and I m going to show them the bill/breakdown of services that Greg supposedly performed a little over six months ago to see if I got taken for a fool.

My son and I recently bought a car from Greg of A Auto. Greg knew the history of the vehicle, explained features and even did a brake job on it before we picked it up. Greg was very pleasant to work with. We will be sure to talk to Greg first before buying another car! Highly recommend.

Greg is a scam artist and a thief. I brought my truck in to be repaired and he said I blew three engine. So I bought a new truck from him for cash. He told me he would keep my old truck for a 90 day warranty on the new truck. Well 2 weeks later the truck broke down And needed a fuel pump. He tried charging me 650 dollars AND that was after he kept my truck in the shop for a week. When I asked about the 90 day warranty he basically let me know that there was nothing I could do. Greg is a snake and I m sure this place will be an empty lot in 5+ years

I have been here a couple of times and everytime has been great. I have had tires fixed and sold my used car to Greg at a great price. Greg is very friendly and honest. You know something is right when you find yourself going back to the same place.

I can't say enough great words about Greg and Dave! They go above and beyond in every way to make you a satisfied customer. You don't just feel like a number. My daughter has got her last 3 vehicles there and has been very satisfied every time. We now have all our auto work done there and are completely satisfied. If your looking for old school hard working ethics. This is the place to go!

I disagree with the other review. I have worked with Greg for more than 14 years. I have sent family members and co-workers to him and they are always satisfied with the vehicles they have purchased. The reception area is not the cleanest but the service is great! It is a garage after all. Greg is known for selling his used cars well below blue book value and has always taken good care of me and anyone I've referred to him

I can not EXPRESS enough gratitude! After suddenly loosing my very old "only vehicle" to a minor curb bump in our first icy mess...my car was considered totaled. STRESS! After having two tow co. Charge me 350.00 my dear friend heard my stress & recommended A AUTO. ( EASILY FOUND ) 124th ST at 5140N 124 th St. ,between Capitol and Silver Spring. The owner GREG GENSCH had the perfect used car for me I have to say , now, it is the best car i have ever owned. The owner Greg was very helpful. My dear friend and I test drove it .My friend suggested the front tires were rough and Greg replaced them with new. The headlight covers over use became covered by salt and Greg cleaned those off. The cars body and interior are beautiful. I am very pleased. A very difficult day becane a blessing. Thank you God for prividing a hard working honest Auto works abd Greg Gensch

I brought a car recently from Greg..... was having some minor issues & he fixed it with no problem... even pointed out things I didn t speak on and got it squared away!!! Greg is a really kool guy and very understanding.... not how you guys found him years ago... he has earned my 5 stars!

Greg was extremely helpful to my son finding the right car for him. There were parameters that needed to be met, first and foremost financial limits, mileage and condition. Greg was tireless in his search to find a vehicle that met these requirements. He was patient, understanding, and not judgmental, and eventually found the perfect match for my son. A job well done!

I purchased a used Ford F150 from A Auto during the pandemic, which made finding a quality used vehicle difficult. From the start there were problems, problems which A Auto hadn't taken the time to notice and fix. While A Auto fixed these initial problems at its own expense, the truck soon began to have major engine problems. I was forced to get rid of the truck and realized a net $8,000 loss. I can't help but believe I was knowingly sold a lemon. Stay away from A Auto!

I bought a vehicle from Greg about 2 years ago. BEST CAR EVER. In the two yrs I ve had to replace the muffler & that s it! Car was super super clean when I purchased it, I still bring my car back for tune ups & oil change. If you need a used car this is the place to go.

Bought a car for my 18 yr old daughter, 1st car, wanted something used for good price. Got a 2007 chevy cobalt. Had minor issues, radio and service air bag light randomly on, couple days after getting it but called Greg and he told me to bring it in, fixed it right away without questions. Really nice guys there would purchase again. Have to mention mechanic Sean, supet nice guy and did great job fixing what needed to be done. Great people

Greg and his team has always done a great job with service and repair work. I bought a beautiful 2001Cadillac Seville sls 4 years ago from them which at the time had only 67K that I take back to them for any work that needs done. I ve referred my family to them cause that s how much I believe in their work.

Over the past ten plus years I have also referred several people to Greg. His prices are competetive and repair summaries are straight forward. Maybe the "waiting room" could be updated - but the best approach to service is to drop the vehilce off and return at the time specified to pick it up - do not recommend "waiting" for service. The highlight of the service is their summary of what is wrong and what they can do about it ... I like up front candidness and clarity.

Bought a car from him about a year ago, 2 months later had to spend $1000 on repairs. I took the car to this place a few times, trusting it because I had bought the car from here. Recently, I took my car to a different Mechanic and every repair that they found that A Auto did was poor quality, cheap, and/or did more damage than it fixed. Terrible auto body work, would never recommend.

Needed a cheap and reliable running car fast for my girlfriend, after her car was totaled one night by a hit and run driver, while it was parked on the side of the street. She went from an already dying Pontiac G6 with over 200K miles into a nice '98 Honda Accord with 169K miles for only $2200. Runs great with no issues.

Not all its cracked up to be. Disappointed .The old guy talks a good game but doesnt deliver . Charges too much, doesn't deliver the quality that was promised. Greedy . We wont get anything done there again. We'll look for a different place if we ever need it. Learned an expensive lesson
