The service isn't that bad but it could be better. What's cool about this location is that they do emission test. The prices are a but high but whatever. The waiting time isn't that horrible and the staff are somewhat knowledgeable. I'll give them 3 stars . Thanks for reading my review. Peace

This place is very unprofessional. I spent almost $2600 on my car, still the check engine light on. Even though they charged exorbitant fees for the diagnostic, it seems like they didn't diagnose anything. Sometimes they will keep your for few days, without looking at it and quote you something very outrageous. At that point, you will pay anything to get it back. They will try and sweet talk you into a deal but don't fall for it. They are running a scam, they are very dishonest people. Go to a different auto repair shop and not deal with this dishonest people.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning, Oil change

They overcharge you and dont even inspect or diagnose properly when they say they inspected. We paid 2100 in first time, they said the Ac was fine, then ac was not working after a week. We again went there and asked them to look at it free of charge as we already paid for the diagnostics(AC charge) and they give a warranty for 12,000 miles, they agreed but second time we got a bill including the AC Diagnostics billing us 516 dollars, for a/c lines leak they again charged us for AC charge and refrigerant. We already paid that in the first bill and according to the warranty they should not have charged us again. This is not done. I also have never seen mechanics charging shopping fee or environmental fee. I paid almost 2600 dollars in total. Now not a month went by and the check engine light is on. I thought they checked for everything. Things cant go wrong that quickly. Why didnt they tell us about the problems when we asked them to diagnose the problems? I agree with one of the reviewers, they charge you high and i have no idea how they are getting such good reviews.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

Always very fast and convenient. Passed my emissions and got my stickers immediately. I have been going here for a couple of years now. Hope they don't stop the emissions testing.

Joe always does a great job. Fair prices and great service. Always keeps you informed what's going on or if they find something else that might be wrong with your car. The big thing is he is honest.

Over 15 years, I been bringing my vehicles to be service at A & J repair shop. Amy AND Joe are very knowledgeable in their respective fields while providing excellent customer service. They have been going well above and beyond to fit me in their busy schedule to take a look at my automobiles.A &J is the highest quality shop in our community and I recommend this shop to anyone regardless the distance travel to arrive there.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Fastest emissions test in town, i was prepared for a couple hour ordeal, but it literally took 5 minutes. Do not go to the oil change places, come here!Service: Auto emissions testingService: Auto emissions testing

I was bringing my truck for diagnostics and accidentally parked in employee parking . The lady in customer service suddenly comes out and angrily shoos me to move from the spot even though I was already backing off. The first time I came there she was not professional either . Needless to say I took my car down the street . Maybe the car repair is good but she needs to be respectful as she will expect when she goes for service elsewhere .

Everytime I want some work done they don't do the type of work I need, or they will say i can get you in a whole week later. I guess the do very good. I wish they can work better for the surrounding community. I know I've tried to give them business. I have to go to the south side to get work done.

The serpentine belt on my Ford Taurus blew and I was very fortunate that it happened near this auto shop. They instantly found that the seized up compressor was the cause of the problem, got a used one for cheap out of season, and had my car back in action the next morning. Price was very reasonable, and the work they did was excellent. No BS, mark-ups, or overpricing, just the work you need done at a good price. That is their claim, and I can confirm it to be true. Car has run great since, and they even took care of the persistent "door ajar" light I had not mentioned and the "check brakes" light no longer comes on, as it did before I took it in. All-in-all, I couldn't be more satisfied and will be returning for any future auto work I need done.

Don't go there if you have disability plates. They will be able to perform an emission test but receiving your stickers might be challenging because there's something wrong with the DMV system. You will still have to get your stickers from the DMV website. It Is by no fault of A & J Automotive

Have taken my car in from security shutting down my auto to it dying every time I turned the corner and have always left satisfied with the problems gone and never to occur again. Simply the best in auto repair, affordable, and excellent customer service. They know cars and care about their customers :-)

I dont know where those people went, but this place is a joke, kept my car 3 days still didnt look at it yet then they came back with a crazy price.I went to a dealer better price, this place gave me bad vibes from the start but it had good reviews. Maybe there good at oil changes

These guys are amazing I called for a question the guy was very knowledgeable and knew his stuff I highly recommend taking your car in to them or simply calling with a question I definitely would recommend to anyone
