My old Volvos and I have felt very much at home at Dunn's Import. They've taken excellent care of my cars over the years and have always performed high quality work in extremely reasonable time frames. Staff is universally knowledgeable and friendly. Bonus: cutest shop dog ever!

I have used Dunn s Import for all my auto needs for years now. First my Audi A4 and more recently my Mercedes Benz C300 AMG. They do excellent work and when they recommend any fixes they priority code them as serious, should be done now, to hey, something you should pay attention to and think about getting it fixed down the road. They are very customer-friendly and consummately professional. I strongly recommend them.

Writing this as I pick up my car from them they do great and honest work here. It s that simple. I trust them with my car 10 times out of 10 and they feel like good friends when you stop by. Awesome shop decor and clubhouse too!

I've been taking my car here for a couple years. They are honest, reliable and fair prices. They do good work! I appreciate Marnie getting me in quickly when I had some bad luck with tires. Hard to find an auto service place you really trust, but I trust Dunn's! Thank you

Called for an estimate. No return call after a week (this should ve been a red flag). Finally decided to drive my Audi to their Middleton shop to get an estimate. Gave an overly inflated estimate compared to their competitors (yes they even went higher than the estimate I received from Zimbrick Audi!). Told me I m better off selling my 5-year old Audi with 30k miles because it needs a new transmission. Luckily for me, they didn t know that I have experience working on cars and it turned out to just need a $50 seal. I can t imagine the panic their false information can impose on a regular customer (who doesn t have an in-depth knowledge of cars and car repair) walking in and being told they now have to sell their new-ish car! Clearly they just didn t want to work on my car, still unclear as to their reasoning for this. It would ve been easier and less waste of everyone s time to just tell me to go somewhere else. There are plenty of better independent shops in Madison for your European cars. Please do your research and don t waste your time and money settling for this one. Plus, the customer service people were rude and treated me like I interrupted an important conversation they were having with each other. Not sure how they re still in business to be honest.Service: Transmission

I've been taking my Audi A3 here for some time now - great service/reasonable pricing. I'm getting a newer Audi S3 and will be sure to bring it here as well.

Attention to customers needs are lacking. You are at their mercy when it comes to timing of service. An appointment requires you to drop off your car and accept the timing of the service. I had good results in the past, but had to cancel Appt. sue to their scheduling of my service.

Brought my car in as the heater was not working, they were able to help out with some other engine issues as well. The repairs took less labor hours than expected, and they were honest about it and saved us a chunk of money they easily could have been charged without me knowing.Very kind and communicative staffServices: Engine repair, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

Great to buy or take your import cars for service at this place.Jeff Dunn is a terrific man, great customer service skills. He allowed me to try like 4 or 5 different motorcycles, then even after I ended up buying from another place. I went back with my father in law to drop his BMW for service, and Jeff was as professional as usual. He knows a lot not only about motorcycles but cars.I strongly recommend this business. Not to mention they have nothing but beautiful classy motorcycles.By far, is the Best motorcycle store in the Madison area. Probably best in WI.Andy

When I moved to Madison nearly 3 years ago, I asked around and 3 different independent sources recommended Dunn's to care for my beloved Subaru. From the first moment I pulled in that first day and saw Jesse and his personal car (also an Offroad Subaru), I have not only had confidence in their work, but unfaltering trust in their thorough and honest evaluations of what my car needs (or doesn't need!). The car currently runs better than it ever has, and in addition to keeping it purring, the phenomenal staff at Dunn's have provided expertise and advice on everything from headlight upgrades, to the best snow tires available, to even connecting me with a local car enthusiast club. Jeff, Jesse and the whole team at Dunn's have taken care of my car like it was their own and have earned my unequivocal endorsement. Dunn's will treat you like you're one of the family... especially if you come on Thursdays

Dunn's Import performed an alignment for my Audi RS3. Their staff was friendly and welcoming, and the techs even spent time to review things with me afterwards. It's hard to find a small, quality and local business, but Dunn's Import is it. I have been a repeat customer at Dunn's for over 4 years now. I can usually get an appointment within a week (sometimes two) without any problems. The garage is clean, the people are always pleasant and helpful, their shop dog is sometimes there and always friendly, and the owner (Jeff Dunn) is involved with his seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of cars. The staff are usually pretty responsive with questions and calling you back. They really make it easy for their customers to not have to really worry too much about their vehicles. They keep track of all the records (and will even enter in documentation from your previous life with other mechanics) so that there is a pretty complete record of work on your car, and will tell you when something can wait to be done, versus needing it soon or not really needing it except for more aesthetic reasons. There has never been any pressure that I've experienced. Their business model has, as far as I can tell, to win your trust by providing you with honest advice and high quality work. I would recommend this garage to anyone in the Madison, Middleton, Verona, Fitchburg areas.

I brought a 2013 BMW from a local dealership here to be inspected. With a car like this, I didn't want any surprises before purchasing. The team here provided a detailed assessment for an honest price that gave us piece of mind. Jeremy took the time to really go over things and provided a complete roadmap for on-going maintenance.The knowledge level and passion here for import autos is amazing. Customer service is 5-star. Not sure why I wasn't bringing cars to Dunn's before as I really enjoyed the experience much more than the local import dealerships.

Dunn's took excellent care of our 2003 BMW 325i for many years, then hooked us up with a fantastic used x3 when the previous owner decided to upgrade. Jeff has always been forthcoming and honest, helping us distinguish between what repairs need to be done right way, what can safely be put off, and what is completely unnecessary. He understands our priorities and offers service that aligns with them. The mechanics at Dunn's do top-notch work and are especially knowledgeable about BMW models. We wouldn't take our BMW anywhere else.

I have had my Audi Q7 serviced at Dunns for several years. Any services are explained to me in plain language and pricing is very upfront. Service charges are generally well under estimates I was given at the local Audi dealership. Also, a decent loaner vehicle is usually available every time my vehicle is serviced. Very convenient!

Dunn's has serviced my Acura, Toyota, BMW, Audi. I've been utilizing Dunn's for my car needs for over 10 years because they are reliable, straight forward and set expectations for the cars needed service before something small becomes a big problem. Their service technicians are knowledgeable and their staff is very helpful and patient. I constantly refer new clients, moving to Madison, to this auto shop

I am very pleased with Dunn's work. I took my BMW for an oil change and 10,000 mile maintenance checkup. They were knowledgeable, thorough, professional and honest. They gave me a ride to work and back to Dunn's which was a huge help. I highly recommend them.

I've been going to Dunn's Import for 27 years, and there are three reasons. One: They are knowledgeable, they know how to diagnose a problem. Two: they are trustworthy. Jeff has told me what I need and what I don't need to maintain my car, and when a fix isn't worth it, turning down a nice repair job. Three: Jeff and his staff are good people. They treat customers well. The best thing about having a long relationship with Jeff, is he knows me. He knows my car. He knows how I drive, and can recommend service, maintenance and repairs based on those factors. When I've needed a used car, he has helped me to make good choices. Jeff runs a very efficient shop, scheduling is right on 95% of the time. I don't think I've ever had to wait longer than promised for a repair. Jeff treats his staff well. He has really good mechanics, who have been with him a ling time, and they know their stuff. they are like a family, with Jeff making lunch for them once a week, every week. His staff know how to take care of customers too. I've seen them clear the frost from a car for a customer, as well as provide rides when needed. It's a real comfort to drive a car, having a relationship with the people who service it, knowing they have an investment in my cars reliability and my family's safety. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I have taken my car to Dunn's for two years now. They always explain what they found and what they did and why in good detail. They will show you what they mean and give you your options and a time frame so you can judge what urgent vs. when I get the money means. I know they use quality parts and do quality work. They know European cars inside and out and share an interest in them as well. Prices are fair for European specialists. There are plenty of places who will charge you more for the labor and not give you as good of service.

Everyone at Dunn s is super friendly, honest, and helpful. They provide a very relaxed, yet professional atmosphere. No one is pushy, prices are very reasonable, and the service is perfect. Also, they have a cute dog to play with while you re there. I haven t been to a shop more inviting and honest than Dunn s, and I will continue to bring them my business as long as I m in the area.

New to town. Looking for an honest mechanic with BMW experience, like what I had with my friends at RedLine in Lansing. Took my F10 in for an oil change, very professional and friendly people. Price for the oil change was inline to what I was used to paying and they recommended a few different sets of tires and then said, here is what we recommend but go research yourself. Which I did, being a HUGE car fanatic, especially BMW, and both recommendations had high reviews. So far so good. Recommended.Updated: Called to get the new tires and talked to Jeff, he got me in right away and before another snow storm would hit. The tire recommendation is spot on, car drives amazing and grips! I have nothing but good things to say about Dunns Import. They are extreme professionals and I trust them with my vehicles and have for many years now. I recommend all friends and family to go here for service for their cars. From anything basic to complicated they can handle it. They will exceed all of your expectations and are far superior than any dealership!

Hands-down the BEST shop for European cars in the Madison area. I recently went in for a headlight replacement, asked them to check out a rattle I'd noticed, and Jeff informed me that one of my tie rods needed replacement. Since my Mini wasn't safe to drive in that state, Jeff and the team set me up with a loaner overnight. They worked to fix the issue and had me good to go by the next day. Seriously, take your Minis and BMWs here, Dunn's will treat you right.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The technician I spoke with (I think his name is Jeremy) when I had problems with my Volvo was absolutely fantastic. My Volvo has been stalling and of the three places I've taken it to, no one has been able to figure out why. He hasn't been able to figure it out yet, either, but he gave me a few possible causes and advised me how he think it's best to proceed. He said that he doesn't want to guess with my money or charge me anything without doing any work and I admire that because the first place let me spend about 800 without fixing my issue at all. I absolutely recommend this place for trustworthy service and I hope that my technician gets a raise for being an amazing and knowledgeable representative of this company!

On 2 separate occasions I took our Mazda CX-9 and our Toyota Sienna to Dunns to get separate opinions and I could not be happier that I did.We were told by the Mazda dealership in Madison that I needed a new transfer case because it was cracked. Dunn's took a look. No crack just needed a flush and fluids change. Worked perfectly. $200 instead of $1400+.Took Toyota to dealership 3 times trying to get them to fix an electrical issue kept blowing the fuse and killing dome lights in the van. Took it to Dunn's. They figured it out quickly and fixed the issue for half of what Toyota was charging just to "look at it".They will get all my service and oil changes from now on. Lifetime customer won.

Jeremy and his team deliver service to the highest moral standard. Very difficult to find any business run as honestly as theirs is. Happy to have them service my car.
