Wonderful customer service!My daughter s tire was popped and my husband tried everyone from Jefferson to Madison. It wasn t until his boss recommended Bennetts did we get anywhere!Got him in when no one could or would! We are so thankful for them and won t hesitate to use them in the future.

Love their service. They inspected my 2011 Outback and told me of the items that will have to be addressed in the future but are not needed at this time. I feel like I'm getting an honest read on my questions and concerns. After getting a sound checkup, they balanced the tires, and the vibration went away.My partner and her mother also go here, and I feel safe having them look after their vehicles, especially for long trips.

Took my ford fusion here to get fixed! I ve taken my car to 3 different people who all told me my car was fine just needed wheel-bearings! Turns out I don t need wheel-bearings I needed new tires and brakes and a tuneup! They explained to me what was wrong with my vehicle and they fixed it! It s quiet and I don t hear any noises! These guys really came through for me. My car had sat for a while over the summer and it had caused some issues. When I took it to the dealership they quote me $4,500 for a long list of various "problems".I decided I wanted a second opinion and after looking at the reviews here I gave them a call. I didn't mention my experience at the dealership as I wanted to get an unbiased seconded look. They found a few of the same things wrong that the dealershionjad found, but only about half. And of those things they found the prices were almost half what the dealership was quoting.Not only that, but they were also ookd enough to let me know what really needed to be fixed immediately and what I could wait a bit on so it could be spread out. I went from the possibility of spending $4,500 to only spending $750. I can't recommend them enough!

Best shop ever. If you're worried about going to a mechanic, go here. They're honest, communicate everything to you, fix things well, and fix it right the first time. And for a great price! Fantastic group of people.For example:I recently had a sway bar link set replaced for $200 including parts and labor. Starter issues that were extremely hard to reproduce. Found to be a grounding issue. Hours of troubleshooting and fix for $230. I've had other work done like an exhaust fix and oil changes. They call before doing all the work to confirm the issue, confirm the proposed solution, and confirm the estimated cost. I've been greatly pleased every time.

Let's talk about how incredible it is to find a group as honest as the men at Bennet's. They are straight with you about what needs to be done, they will call and ask before any major repairs, and they never try to steal from you. I have been to auto dealers that will do that to you. I call Larry, I tell him where the problem sound, light, code, or whatever is wrong and they let me know by midday what they found. I have never felt more respected as an individual who doesn't know about vehicles as I have here. They take the time to share what they found and how they replaced it. It has an Auto shop feel, you walk into what some would say not fancy waiting room, but I love it! It gives me comfort knowing that they don't want me to sit for a long time, rather get my car in and out in record time. They also understand if you want to wait on a repair if it is more costly, but again, still give you the pros and cons for doing so. Absolute Great service!!! I tell everyone to go here!! It was cheaper to get an oil change here than it was to do buy everything and do it myself!

I didn't find this place to be reasonably priced and/or completely honest. I was quoted ~$1200 for front suspension work on my Honda Accord. There were separate procedures including both front struts, upper control arm and lower ball joint replacements, and they all were priced as individual procedures. Yet, the overlap between these procedures is huge. For example, the struts have to be removed first to get an access to the control arm, and then reinstalled back. So all this can be done in just one procedure, when the new struts get installed in place of old one, all during the change of the upper control arm. In this way, the bill gets artificially inflated without actual time commitment. Taking into account the parts' cost even in the overpriced auto-stores ($400 total), the quote implies $800 for labor or about 8 hours of work. I was told by another mechanic that he will do it at most in 3 hours. The rest of the math is simple...Service: Auto maintenance

I've been going here for 7 years and have never been disappointed. The guys at Bennett's are always really helpful and honest. They always tell me if something NEEDS to be fixed, if it will be fine leaving it, and never push sales

I ve used Bennetts for decades. They have saved me thousands of dollars. How? By fixing mistakes the dealer makes, by doing only what is necessary, by finding the most cost effective strategy, by not spending my money on cushy waiting areas, treats and coffee. By actually being honest instead of claiming they are. I recommend Bennetts to everyone who cares about getting their money s worth and keeping their car running.

Super chill and knowledgeable. They were able to pinpoint why my car was running loud before my dealership was able to. They also helped multiple times with random maintenance and emergency repairs. They have never surprised me with cost. That s personally important since I m a girl with a pink car and so many places take advantage of that. Thanks for servicing my car! You guys rock! Bennett s in Middleton, WI is by far the best place I have ever taken my car to be serviced. I took it in for an oil leak diagnosis and tire inspection. They were friendly, upfront, honest, and reasonably priced. I don t think I will take my car anywhere else and will definitely be recommending them to friends and family. I went to the Suburu dealership for some work and was quoted over 5k and was made to believe that my car was about to completely fall apart. Scheduled a second opinion with Bennetts.....turns out there is nothing wrong with my car other than some minor exhaust work that is needed. Bennetts didn't even charge me. Amazing business!

We were visiting from out of town, and one of our vehicles had multiple dash lights on. Our daughter needed to drive the vehicle two hours away. Bennetts checked the diagnostics for safety concerns and determined there were none. They reset the codes and didn't even charge us. An unexpected surprise. Thank you!

Need help from someone you can trust? This is the place.I've had service at Bennett's three times in the last year and couldn't be happier. The first time I was in, I got to listen to the guy at the counter (Larry) talk to two customers before me. He first gave a man a great explanation of why a repair was complete, but less costly than estimated. Then he provided a woman with a very detailed but clear analysis for the condition of a car she had brought in to be looked over before her son bought it. It was easy to see that both customers were happy and felt like they had gotten a good deal and good information. This shop does not talk down to anyone, and they don't BS or schmooze their way through customer interaction.I've had coolant leaks fixed, an intermittent "check engine" warning light analyzed and fixed, and a suspension issue resolved. All done timely and at a reasonable price.The other reviews are spot on. This is an honest shop doing really good work, and not looking to gouge you or add on extra services. Highly recommended.

This place is great. I was replacing my own brakes and snapped one of my caliper pins. Called other bigger named auto shops and each one declined to work on my car without replacing the entire brake itself and charging me a ton of money. Bennett s was just like yup bring it over and we ll take care of it. Incredible turnaround time and everything got fixed at a decent price. The guys were helpful and definitely know what they are talking about without trying to rip you off. 5/5 recommend.

I have gone here a couple times now and was really happy each time. I didn t feel pressured into fixing each and every thing that was wrong with my vehicle, Larry explained everything in a detailed yet understandable way, and explained my options in each scenario. He was happy to answer my questions and they were prompt in helping with repairs, even around Christmas. Also felt the prices were very fair. I have tried a few others in the neighborhood and will continue to go to Bennett s.

Had an issue with my hood latch while passing through Madison from out of town, and Bennett s got me in when no one else could, fixed my problem, and sent me on my way in minutes! They wouldn t let me pay them either. Very kind and knowledgeable staff definitely recommending this shop to my friends who live in the area!!

It is so difficult to find a trustworthy and competent mechanic, but Bennett s is perfect. I try to always go to them first, but in the few occasions I ve gone elsewhere, I usually end up coming back for a second opinion that always ends up cheaper, quicker, and more thorough than I otherwise would have received. I was looking for a shop to replace the studs on one of my wheels when I came across Bennett's, and after reading the reviews here I felt pretty confident in my decision. After taking my car in, I can honestly say that Bennett's will be my go-to for car maintenance and repair in Madison from now on. Larry was helpful and patient in answering all of my questions when I called to get a quote, and gave me what I considered to be a very fair estimate of the cost to do the job. When he called me to let me know that my car was ready, I was thrilled to hear that because the studs hadn't been as difficult to get to as expected, the cost to me would be less than quoted.Car repair, for those of us who know little about it, can be an easy place to have the wool pulled over our eyes. They could have told me it cost as much as they quoted, and I wouldn't have known any different. They also could have replaced all of the studs and nuts on the wheel as I'd expected needed to be done, but they replaced the stud and nut that were the worst, retapped the other four studs, and reused the nuts I had, saving me extra money on parts. When I told my dad about my experience his exact words were, "That's an honest mechanic." I'm just so grateful to have found such a great shop for my first car maintenance need in Madison!Service: General repairs & maintenance

So glad I found Bennett's! My 2016 Kia Sorento engine needed replacement and they spent so much time explaining what the next steps were and the process for repairing my car. They presented options with quotes and a timeline. Answered all of my questions and did not rush me at all. Super fast, honest, fair priced, ultra professional, and nice as well. I visited this place for an engine oil change in the morning. Actually, I went because a friend recommended it to me because it was reliable. And I requested a reservation in a hurry for personal reasons, but they kindly granted my request.My car is a Honda CR-V. When I went to a Honda service center 3 years ago they told me I had a lot of things to change on my car. But since then, I've never heard of anything like that anywhere else. I heard that there are no other problems with this place I visited today as well. The cost was also less than I expected.I will continue to use this place instead of Honda service in the future. I ve been having 3 cars serviced at Bennett s for 20 years. They ve never let me down and always keep my vehicles on the road running like new. It s because of Bennett s I m able to get 150,000+ miles out of my vehicles. It s amazing. They are great mechanics. And the best thing is that they never over charge me. They get me in usually right away. Sometimes they fix what s needed on the spot so I can get on the road again.I have recommended Bennett s to all my friends and many are now regular customers.

Excellent service, fair prices, and honest work. I have brought my car in multiple times and they have always found and fixed issues for a fair price. They have also done a few minor fixes labor free with oil changes (wiper replacements, heat shield repair). The first time I visited Bennett's was on a sunday when I was desperate with a flat, they hooked me up with a full size used tire for very cheap with no labor cost when they should have been closed. Their prices are not all bargain basement low, but I can trust them to be fair with me when work needs to be done on the car. It is worth it. Their mechanics know what they are doing and get the job done right. Great place, been going for 5 years now. Highly recommended.

Honest shop that does good job and charges fairly. You don't have to worry about them tricking you into doing unnecessary repairs. They have plenty of long-term, loyal customers acquired over the years through word-of-mouth referrals. If you're planning to buy a used car, be sure to have them check it out first at minimum cost. It'd be money well spent.

Wondering if there are still good, honest mechanics around? Well, there are! I ve taken my truck to Bennett s several times (trucks fault, not theirs, haha) and each time I walked away feeling that my truck was in good hands and I was being charged a fair rate with none of that up-selling or scare tactics you sometimes find at other repair shops including the dealership. These guys are hardworking and honest people who run a stand up business.
