Always had a pleasant experience when I have gone to American Imports to service. I am able to get appointments that fit my schedule. The work they did was explained to me beforehand and done quickly and withing the time frame they said it would be.

Brought my car in for service- coolant replacement, stabilizer link replacement and oil change. Work was done timely and they actually told me my oil change wasn't due for a couple more months. I appreciate them letting me know it wasn't due right now! They are always very nice and they make getting my cars serviced a pleasant experience.

Online appointment scheduling was quite easy. Dropped our jeep off for an oil leak. We were given a detailed estimate showing what needed to be done along with other items based on urgency. We could approve a specific repair or all if we wanted. Approving was easy and we picked up jeep that same evening. We were very pleased.

My husband and I (Michael E.) recently purchased a Subaru Crosstrek 2023 manual transmission, and were searching for a reputable local shop to help us with services - such as oil changes, etc. I happened upon this shop several months ago and gave them a call for more information. A young lady picked up my call and she was incredibly kind and courteous. She answered all of my questions as we were a bit nervous going outside of the dealership with a new vehicle. We made our appointment for this past Tuesday and we cannot say enough positive words to describe our experience. We were met by whom we later learned is the owner of this establishment. Our vehicle service was completed on time and with care. The cost was AMAZING! Thank you for your kindness, your knowledge, your professionalism, and everything in between that brings us great peace of mind. Please do not hesitate to call and make your appointment. Everyone was so very nice. Their software program is excellent. You get a full list of your estimate and costs before work begins. The work they did on my car was so good, I left my Lexus there for them to fix too. All around great experience. I m actually at the auto body repair shop next door, which they recommended.

Tory, Bri and James gave me EXCEPTIONAL service! They took me in the back while my car was up in the air and educated me about my tires. They answered all my questions and was super friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs car repair!! I was looking for a new auto place I could trust, and I found it.

My 2013 Honda Accord was going crazy on me. I had 2 alternators put in within 3 months time at another shop. Not to mention they re pretty expensive. My car was still not good at all. I took my car to American Import and they took their time and found the exact problems. They gave me a loaner to use during the repair process. I highly recommend American Import, very friendly and professional. Thanks guys

Had a great experience with American Imports! My Passat was having what I thought was a brake issue, turned out it was far more serious and vital to be dealt with. They started repairs rhe same day and had my car back to me the next day!! (In context I had another company do some work and my car was out of commission for weeks!!!) They are polite, knowledgeable and treat your car like it's their own! I highly recommend this company to everyone!

My wife and I both highly recommend American Imports. I don't normally write reviews like this, but they were a "breath of fresh air" after dealing with two dealers (Mazda) and essentially having the same runaround with both.They were very friendly, came up with a plan and communicated it well, and exectuted the work in a timely fashion. They were very professional about the whole process.Again, would highly recommend them, and we will go back when the need arises.

I have been taking my cars to American Imports for decades. They are skilled, reliable, and honest. They have newer model loaner vehicles available to make it easier for you during repairs. I cannot recommend a car mechanic more highly than American Imports.

RUN don t just walk away from American Imports repair facility on County Line Road in Menomonee Falls, WI which relies on their hope that most drivers today are completely ignorant about the most basic functions of their cars, thereby making it easier to tack on expensive, redundant diagnostics that have already been performed elsewhere Using the exact same diagnostic equipment that American Imports uses.We had noticed that a check engine light had recently appeared on our dashboard, and whether you realize it or not, many auto parts stores such as AutoZone will provide a completely free service when they take their OBD II (On Board Diagnostic II code checking device) Out to your car in the parking lot Spend maybe three minutes downloading the information through a connector directly underneath most cars steering column Returning into the store and taking two more minutes to print out an explanation about any and all codes that appeared as well as the most likely causes of the code error.It indicated One likely cause An MAF sensor malfunction. Pretty simple, right?When we called American imports and explained this code diagnostic was already completed and we had a code for them that they could check, and we told them that it was most likely an MAF (Mass airflow) Sensor, and That since this was an electronic part it s not something that they can Just visually inspect to verify if the part is good or bad because electronics don t work that way.We just wanted a rough estimate on how much that might cost us to HAVE THEM replace it if we brought our business back to them as we have had other simple services performed by them in the past.American imports STEADFASTLY REFUSED to give us a rough, non-binding estimate because as they repeatedly said, I just wouldn t feel comfortable giving you a rough estimate because if it turns out that it s not that part, then you might get mad .What actually made us mad was that American imports is not a company that is transparent enough to know How much a service like this costs and then be proud of it enough that they would say oh that will probably run you $175 (or whatever because that part with a lifetime guarantee at AutoZone cost $131 And takes no more than 10 minutes to remove the old sensor and install the new ) if that turns out to be the part that needs replacement.Simple, right?Not for American Imports.We then repeatedly pointed out that this was not a request for an official on-paper written form, or even in written form via text or email It was just a ballpark estimate because like most Americans, we are on a tight budget and we were already getting some other services performed by them and we just wanted to make sure that we had enough money budgeted.Many customers just blindly trust American Imports Because AM.Imp. are very smiley and pleasant when you are in their facility and they have many positive reviews.But also Note there are multiple UNHAPPY customers displeased with the pure vagueness of what American Imports tries to pass off as their billing invoice .For example, we also had a tire rotation performed, and I ve never had a repair facility that didn t list what the outgoing tire air pressures were when done And there was no listing for the tread depth of the tires they rotated.They just rely on generic statements like pressures were set to manufacturers recommendations so they feel they can t legally be held liable if you have a tire blowout based on improperly set pressures because they didn t state what they ever Set it. Sneaky Not transparent.I ve pointed out the problems with their lack of details in the past when I ve had services performed, and they ve made no effort to change it.The final straw with American imports lies in the fact that even if we spent $129 for their duplicate diagnostic American Imports wouldn t pledge that if theirs turned out to be exactly the same information That AutoZone provided FIR FREE , That they would reduce the diagnostic charge.

Went in for a maintenance check and oil change. Nice mannered folks and quick work. I had hardly settled down when I was asked to go into the shop where the mechanic showed me some issues. All got taken care of 5 times faster than at the dealership.

I used this company for some extended warranty work on my Santa Fe's sunroof. They were great to work with and did a great job with my service work. I recently needed some follow up on one of the parts, and they promptly took care of that. Torrey and his team are great to work with. Jeff the owner, who is a well knowledgeable experienced professional mechanic; did a superb job installing Shocks all around, a Tire rotation and Oil change on my Honda HR-V.He and his approachable office staff *Bree* and *Torrey* are very friendly Personable, and Kind people. I like that this Auto Repair Shop has a close-knit familial vibe to it You can even help yourself to free coffee while you waitThis place is soooooo cool, it's also membership approved, very welcoming, and peaceable.The music station or channel being played hits very Nostalgic: like living in an 80's Time Capsule I'm glad I had my vehicle serviced here... Will be coming back

We only take our cars to American Imports! They do the job RIGHT, and offer a very thorough account of the work that needs to be done before moving forward via an in depth estimate, and it's texted to you to approve what you do and dont want done. Also, they are very fast! 10/10 reccomend!
