They fixed my cars HVAC system (and then some further problems that arose) in a timely manner. They were very explanative when talking to me and it was all done at what I considered to be a fair price...id reccomend it if your car needs looking at..

They were nice people, but when I went to get two new front tires they charged 400 for two tires that are from Walmart for $69

Pete was able to squeeze me in for a simple repair. The fact that it wasn t a big money maker for him and yet took the time to replace a bracket, explain what potential issues may arise and show me the mistake another auto shop made on replacing my muffler, was very refreshing. Highly recommended! No matter how big or small.... I will be back. Thanks Pete!!

Took in vehicle. Charge was $50 for, what I found out later, took all of 5 minutes to do. Mechanic's service included "banging on it till it worked" on the fuel pump. Somehow, headlight stopped working during the time my vehicle was there.It's my opinion that this shop will exaggerate problems and/or time spent for repair to justify charges. There are likely better shops with more honest folk in the area.

I was disappointed the last time I had service there.When he called me to tell me what was wrong with the car and I asked the price I was told "I knew you were going to ask, I forgot to add it up, shouldn't be too bad."I told him to go head. This was a mistake on my part.The bill was much larger than normal.Make sure you get a price.

I had a screw in my tire, of the 4 garages that I went to, Mr. Coonen was the one that could fit me in for all 4 tires on account of the screw was on the outside of the tire. Also free tire rotation for the life of the tires. I am so glad I went to his garage and they are able to do all services for your vehicles.

I have been a Coonen's customer for well over 30 years and have always found them to be honest and fair and frankly, look for ways to minimize my repair costs. My wife also finds the staff friendly, helpful and is treated as an equal.I will admit that at times, it does seem like a hangout for the neighborhood retirees. But if you are choosing a mechanic by who hangs around and how it looks, take your car to Starbucks.

I called for valve body repair (transmission) they said they don't do that but it clearly says transmission on their webpage .so I'm confused
