This John Deere dealer is top notch! I ve had nothing but great experiences here as a self employed landscaper and homeowner! My sales guy, Jeff, is very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. We switched over to John Deere because of Gary in service. He is quick to respond, very thorough, has great communication, and cares about giving me minimum down time while servicing my equipment. I ve had nothing but fabulous, quick service from him. Joe the master mechanic is very knowledgeable, highly trained, kind, and informative. He s great to work with and always gets the job done right. The rest of the staff has always been kind and helpful. I look forward to doing continued business here as my business grows and I continue to get top notch service from Jeff, Gary, and Joe!

I work for a township in Douglas county and have had nothing but EXTRAORDINARY servise from the parts guys at northland. Kurt is an absolute Rockstar and is an amazing at customer service. Kurt has went out of his way to find us parts, pricing, shipping and has saved us hours of time and money! I Kurt ever decides to part ways with northland lawn and sport it would be a grave loss to this outfit!

We recently moved to northern WI and I bought a riding lawnmower, Polaris ATV, and a couple of implements for my tractor and I was relatively happy with the sales and parts department. The service department, however, has been a huge headache and I've since went to other dealers in the area for a new tractor, snowmobiles, etc. We've given the Mason location multiple chances to service our equipment that we bought from them and my wife and I are done and will never go back to any Northland dealer.They refuse to schedule service and ask to drop the machines off and they'll get to it in 2-3 weeks. I've never heard of a service department not doing scheduling. We gave them a try and it first started with our new lawnmower where I just wanted fluid put in the tires. We dropped it off and they said they'd get to it in 2 weeks. Well, two weeks went by and we hadn't heard anything so we called them and they had no idea we had dropped the lawnmower off. They "found" it about an hour later and told me they can't put fluid in the tires but we could do suitcase weights which I could have just installed myself.Since then, I've had to take my ATV in for various things like an idling problem, oil change, and a plastic cover that keeps coming off. Every time they refuse to schedule the service and tell me to drop it off and they'll get to it in 2-3 weeks. These are all brand new machines with minor issues and I need them to maintain my property and can't be without them for 2-3+ weeks while it sits on their lot.Regarding the cover that gets into the steering column, I had Northland "fix" "it twice and they apparently never documented the problem which is now an issue because I had to contact Polaris directly about it. I called the Northland service department back and I didn't get the impression that they took it seriously and again, was told they don't schedule service and to drop it off for 2-3 weeks. I've since taken it to another Polaris dealer and they finally fixed it and said that the ATV wasn't assembled properly.It's been about 1.5 years and Northland has not impressed me and I will never go back.

I wanted to set up an appointment I Grand Rapids for my Gator UTV to be serviced. They said, "We do not have to do that. Just bring it in and we will get right on it." 7 working days later I went in and inquired on the status. They then said they are one month behind. They had not even moved it since I dropped it off. This is why I wanted an appointment. They complained that I gave them only 7 working days to service it. I took it back without it being touched by the service guys. I need to find someone else to service my Gator. Others may not be better but they cannot be any worse. I have not had this problem with the Floe side of Northland. As far as John Deere goes they have terrible to non existent service.

I recently purchased a John Deere X350 with snowblower attachment for my parents, Jeff Mergen was great to deal with and made my purchase go smoothly, on top of that, they took the time to deliver it and explain the operation to my parents. Stellar customer service

This place is absolutely phenomenal. A+ Grade in every aspect. I've purchased equipment from just about every equipment dealer from here to Duluth, and these guys are the best by far. When you buy a big piece of gear you are buying a piece of a company, not just the gear. These guys go ABOVE and BEYOND what is necessary for their role. Service is amazing, people are awesome and friendly, sales and pricing was on point. The only down side in this operation is the fact that they do not have a pushy sales force, so they may get overlooked.. but most of us appreciate this aspect. Stop in and see these guys and get great service for the life of your equipment! I'm sure glad I did!

I own a Honda snowblower that needed some minor repair (shear pin replacement) so I attempted to contact Northland's Mason, WI store as they are one of two licensed Honda dealers in my area who also service their equipment and I do what I can to spend my money locally. Two voicemails left with their service department, and one service-request submitted through their online form...I never heard back. Is that store still open, and is everybody okay over there?

Drove 1100 miles to buy a used 4120 that I was told was in excellent condition. Tractor was flashing a trouble code and leaking oil when I arrived. The tractor only had 600 hours on it and they had already had the timing cover off it to replace internal parts. Ihave had several tractors and have never had to replace internal engine parts at 600 hours. They were unable to fix the oil leak while I was there and wanted me to take the tractor at the same price with no warranty. So to make a long story short I am out $2500.00 in experiences and don't have a tractor. Do not buy a used tractor on their word. My expectations of a tractor in excellent condition are way different than theirs.

First time I stopped at this business. I called ahead and asked if they had a part in stock. When I stopped to pick it up the part was sitting on the counter with my name on it. The service rep was pleasant and professional.

Call two Saturdays ago for price on 3046R spoke to Bob in sales who was going to work on a price for me and get back to me. Purchased my 3039r from the previous owner of Northland Lawn Sport - John Galligan (retired). Now almost 2 weeks later and no call. Disappointed with the lack of response. Under the old owner John I would not expect this, he was a motivated seller. Probably should have waited and talked to John's son Peter, maybe he would like to move product like his dad?Service department deserves 5 stars, had a couple of issues with our 3039r and z920m and the service manager took care of them without issue.

I was charged $100 for service (on a John Deere ATV) that involved an air filter change and removal of oil in the air box, but the actual problem was not diagnosed by the dealership--a loose carburetor attachment bolt. Alex Pino, the current Northland service manager, even has posted a 5-star review of Northland on Google for this dealership.

I bought a Polaris Ranger from Northland. We were met with smiles and we were treated like family. Everyone was wonderful, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our salesman, Brady treated us like VIPs. A++++

I spoke with Erin on the phone yesterday and the day before about my John Deere D110 tractor, I found her to be very helpful and determined to get answers to my questions?? Ross in the parts department has also been very respectful, knowledgeable and easy to deal with !!!

We bought our lawn mower from them 15 yrs ago and have gone to them for everything. This time, the service has not been what it used to be. When we called for the parts, we mentioned the model of our mower and the fact that we've been going there for 15 yrs and that we are on the computer. We picked up the supplies to find out they gave us the wrong oil filter and no air filter sleeve. Went back and it took awhile to get someone to help and when I asked about the sleeve, I was told it comes in the kit. So not sure why they didn't give us the kits.
