I went into Andy's shop to get an oil change, he is a very sweet, kind guy, he did the oil change almost as soon as I got there.It was quick ,done right and, reasonable,I plan on going there any time I need anything done to my car.I am older female, and have had people take advantage of me because of that. He did not. Not only did he do the oil change ,my driver's side window's rubber was falling as I put my window down as I was getting ready to leave ,so I asked him what I should do ,he said ,no problem ,let me fix that for you and he did,at no charge, and made sure it was working correctly before I left.Also as I have been driving daily,since my oil change, my MPG has improved from about 26mpg to 36, not sure how ,but I sure will take it.See you next oil change ,kind ,sweet Andy.

The alternator on my Chevy Colorado burned up on November 2nd. I was able to limp off the expressway and get to a parking lot. A quick Google search gave me Ace Auto. The high rating and good reviews made my decision to call. I'm glad I did. I was expecting to leave the car at least overnight but it was done right in just over 3 hours. And at a very fair price.It is always a pleasure to find people who deliver this level of service. I wish I lived closer so I wouldn't have to do my own basic maintenance. I called in the morning because my power steering fluid was low. He said to stop by anytime and he would take care of it. I went there right away, fluid was added and I was on my way (no charge). I intend to go there in the future for all of my auto repair needs to support his business as he supported me. Great to find a genuine, quality businessman who is so customer oriented and kind.

Andy the owner is a really nice guy and is willing to help when he can. I came in to put different wheels on my van and didn't realize I needed different lug nuts so Andy bought them and trusted me enough that I would pay him back, and I did. People have burned him in the past but I made sure I was a man of my word and paid him back for his kindness. He's also got the lowest price for mount and balance of tires!

We were traveling for business when our truck stopped working.Andy was so kind, looked at it right away. As we thought it turned out to be a big problem, a dead Transmission Control Module (TCM). This part is no longer manufactured. Andy reached out to used parts dealers, as did we.One was shipped to Ace Auto and the truck started right up!Thank you guys for your heartfelt effort to get us on the road again.

All I can say is WOW. Very honest with pricing and extremely friendly service. I had some work I wanted done without spending an arm and a leg on an older car that we would be replacing sooner than later. Andy, the owner, understood exactly what I was looking for, was able to get me a better match on parts than I was able to find, and had a very good price on the labor. I couldn't be happier with the result and he has definitely earned a lifetime customer. We will be back soon! I won't go anywhere else in town now!

When the check engine light went on in my vehicle, Ace Auto was very helpful. They were able to take a look at it the same day I called and knew what was going on within a matter of minutes. Took my car in for an oil change recently. When we mentioned to Andy that we were going on a road trip, he mentioned that my tires were extremely cracked, (which I had an idea that they were on their last leg anyway).He recommended that I get new tires because of this, and gave me several options to choose from. He looks out for his customers totally... and his prices are extremely reasonable!I like to support local businesses, and Ace auto Service is the BEST!

I moved up here three years ago from Florida and was extremely nervous about trying to find a good mechanic that I can trust and rely on. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with one of the other mechanics in Manitowoc and was extremely dissatisfied. As I was looking at the reviews For different mechanics I saw that Ace Auto s reviews were wonderful so I decided to give him a try I am so beyond grateful that I found Andy the owner of Ace Auto who was extremely professional, honest, and compassionate towards my situation! I will never go to anyone else again!!! Also his prices are the best you ll ever find!! First time I felt I ever felt I was under paying a mechanic!!

Andy is an excellent mechanic. He s worked on my cars and several of my family members many times and is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. He is easy to talk to and able to offer the best solutions to the problem at an affordable price. He will meet you where you re at and will not try to sell unnecessary repairs. I feel safe behind the wheel with my kids now and always!

Definitely give Andy & his team a 5 star rating. I stopped in this morning to get my brakes checked on. Andy told me to come back in a half hour so we did. He looked at them, told me what was wrong and took care of my leaking calipers right away. Very helpful and convenient. Great prices & customer service

I have been going to Andy for about a year now. Andy is honest about what can and should be done. We will flat out tell you if it is a safety or a comfort concern. He is an excellent mechanic who puts his customers first. Andy is not one of those mechanics that only cares about money; he cares about his customers. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for honesty and good work in a timely manner.Update: Over memorial day weekend the drivers side window malfunctioned, failing to go up. Knowing the impending storms, Andy fit the truck into his overly packed schedule. He is amazing! Thank you!

I've always gotten great service from Andy. Always reliable and doesn't overcharge on labor. I've had him work on all three of my vehicles for the past 10 years and have recommended to all my family and friends. Couldn't ask for a better mechanic!

It is so rare these days to run into a place that isn't trying empty your pockets and upsell parts and repairs you don't need. Just honest, straight forward, and who clearly knows what they are talking about. There needs to be a 6th star for those few that fit into this category. Highly recommend Andy and crew. You won't find a better mechanic in North East Wisconsin!Services: Brakes, Auto maintenance

Very friendly service that was effective and fairly priced. I was getting sick of spending $400 a crack at other local auto shops just to have the same issue resurface a day later. They solved the issue and made sure that if it came back that I could come to them. They also were able to look at my vehicle in a very timely manner. Other places take days or weeks to get an appointment but I was seen that next day and my issue was fixed just a few hours later. If I could rate it 6 stars I would.

The service here is fantastic! The mechanics are very knowledgeable and they provide great, honest work. I recommend this shop to all of my friends, and will continue to do so. Andy is a good man, and he has the utmost integrity. You can't go wrong with this shop.

Besides being a super, super nice person, Andy always gets my car in quickly and his prices are fair. He actually tells me things AREN'T wrong with my car instead of telling me to fix things that don't need it. I've never run across that before; I highly recommend his shop.

We needed our grinding brakes fixed, and he did an excellent job. Highly recommend getting vehicles serviced here. He fit us in right away and we were on the road safely! Thank you so much. We will be returning for more auto service on our vehicles.

This is a great hometown shop. Definately earned my return business. They had the opportunity to screw me over. Instead Andy and his crew took care of my issue at a very reasonable price. I can't thank them enough. Keep up the great work.

I've been going to Ace Auto for 5 years. I've upgraded vehicles 3 times since then. My 2 Chevy vans sold for the highest end of their value, in part, because of good maintenance. My current vehicle, a Chrysler, runs better now than it did when I inherited it. I've taken it on long trips with no worries. Andy & his mechanics know what they're doing, and how to do it. The prices are very fair, & they're willing to explain things. Not a faceless corporate chain - it is the hometown shop.

Andy takes great care of my 3 vehicles and my girlfriends' as well. Always a fair price, a complete explanation of what it needs and why, and the work is always finished properly. I'm not a car guy, but Andy is, and he and his staff obviously love what they do. He tells me when something needs to be done, and when I can put it off and do it next time. Ace Auto is one of those rare shops that is honest and reliable, because the owner is more interested in earning your business than getting rich off your first visit!

10 out of 10 best auto shop I ve been to in a long time! They re very honest and down to earth with you and they don t charge you for things that don t actually need to be looked at with your car. They fill you in on what needs to be done with your car and they would SUGGEST that you may need to keep an eye on it if you didn t want to fix it at that time but they never pressured you or make you feel stupid for not fixing it at that moment. Most car shops will fix things without your knowledge and tell you about it after they hand you the bill but, Ace Auto Service filled me in on everything they were going to do BEFORE they started working on it.
