Wanted to give a shoutout to Nate, reasonable, transparent, and friendly, overall exceptional the moment I called. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day and the whole process was smooth. They also have a nice work station area, restroom, coffee, and snacks. I would break my car just to come back if I m ever in Madison again, kidding

I took my vehicle in to be serviced for a recall. Everything went smoothly. Casey was very helpful and informative. The service department did a full inspection on my car and found other issues that needed to be addressed but weren t pushy about getting them done at the dealer. I was given a list of everything and an estimate of how much. Good customer service is always appreciated!

I've been taking my 2013 Volkswagen Passat to their service center since I moved to the Madison area 4 years ago. The car service and customer service has always been wonderful and trustworthy.My advisor, Casey, has always helped me have a worry free visit by listening to my issues and made sure they were addressed to my satisfaction. He has good communication and always updates me along each step of the car repair process. I never have to worry about the status of my car, and I appreciate that so much.Whenever my car was being serviced for extended periods of time, they always made sure I had reliable transportation at no additional cost. I am happy that I found a car repair shop that I can trust to do quality work at a fair price, but also makes me feel like a valued customer with each visit. My past repair shop experiences have not always been the best, so I'm happy to have a permanent go-to for all of my car repair needs.

I scheduled a repair at Zimbrick East location. I called to confirm the time and was told to go to the Body Shop at 7am. (Turns out there are 2 Zimbrick locations on the East side: body shop and repair.) I live on the far west side and got up early to make the 7 am appointment. I arrived early and discovered it did not open until 8am. At that time I was told I was at the wrong location and directed to go to the other location. I was given another address that also turned out to be wrong. I finally arrived at the right address 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment. I explained the ordeal to the dealership representative who was understanding and got the work done. My rating is based on the original erroneous information I received from the central call number for Zimbrick not the car service itself. I wasted a LOT of time that day because some Ya-Hoo receptionist at the central number misdirected me, and then another Ya-Hoo at the Body Shop misdirected me. Get your act together.

After dealing with drawn out issues with the non-VW purchasing dealership I went to Zimbrick VW and worked closely with Rob. He was absolutely fantastic to work with, he was receptive, patient, and extremely helpful! The service done on the car corrected our concerns and was done well. I will always be utilizing their service department moving forward.

My car needed some repairs due to someone backing into my vehicle. Though it took a while to get in for an estimate and they were booking out a month or two past that, they took very good care of me and worked wonderfully with the other persons insurance to get everything squared away quickly and efficiently. The work they completed is perfect-it looks brand new. Thanks again!

Just had yet another top shelf experience at Zimbrick VW! Rob and his team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and good to go, dealing with a new tire/wheel fitment and a series of software updates for our ID.4. There were software problems and they worked tirelessly for almost two weeks; providing updates and communication the entire time (as well as a loaner). Don t hesitate to trust this team completely with your vehicle..

The engine light came on while I was driving, so I reached out to Zimbrick VW. After finally connecting with the service department (the phones in the service dept. were busy), they advised me to bring the car in. They mentioned that they might not be able to repair it immediately but assured me they could run diagnostics. I drove straight to the dealership, and they arranged a ride for me. They explained that they would run diagnostics and, if necessary, make any required repairs the next day. Surprisingly, just an hour later, they called to inform me that my car was ready. They even arranged for an Uber to take me back, and I was all set. A satisfactory outcome!"

Scheduled an oil change for 8:30 didn't leave the shop until almost 11. It should not take 2 and a half hours for an oil change. I will change my own from now on. This was absolutely ridiculous.

Oil change disaster!I dropped my vehicle off on a Friday for a scheduled oil service. It was picked up later that day and parked at home. Saturday I had 5+ quarts of oil in my driveway.Upon getting it back to Zimbrick VW, the service center was closed until Monday and the dealership side made no effort to provide me with a vehicle over the weekend.Monday AM, the service department quickly realized the oil plug was missing from a 4 mile drive home.While they did facilitate a cleaning service for my driveway, there is still a residual stain that will not come out.The cleaning professional said I said he had 3 other cleanings he had to do from botched oil changes that day.Not sure if a disgruntled employee on their last day tried sabotaging mine & other vehicles, or just pure incompetence. Either way, I will not be returning and encourage you to use caution.

Great experience from every department. Scott our salesman was great to work with and quick to respond even after we left the dealership answering additional questions. The service department is always easy to work with and full of knowledge and passion for the brand. They really do speak Volkswagen!!

I had a great experience. Dale is a honest and no-pressure kind of guy who made me feel like he was there to answer questions or inform me, not to make a sale. I took my time (two months) to make sure I got the right fit. I looked elsewhere, but kept going back to Zimbrick VW because of the way they treat people and they have a good selection of vehicles at fair prices. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Zimbrick VW for a previously owned vehicle again.

Got my Jetta repaired here under warranty. The shop was great and got me in for an appointment very quickly and gave me an accurate time estimate on when I could get my car back. Will come back if I ever need any other service or parts needed for my VW.

Casey s always on top of things! I dropped our car off on Tuesday night for a Wednesday oil change & Casey was in contact with me throughout the day to let me know of other issues that came up (windshield wiper blades & air filter needed) & provided me with info on tires & a brake job for near-future purchases. The man s great at his job & also super kind & thoughtful!

Service tech was polite and professional. Zimbrick provided transportation to my home when required service was going to be more involved than I anticipated. My vehicle was washed and ready to pick up at designated time. I am always very happy with their service.

GREAT experience in the Zimbrick VW Service Dept for my VW Beetle!First, they were great to reschedule me for the following day when I couldn t make my scheduled appointment. My engine issue was diagnosed quickly, and it was great to get a text to a link with the findings, recommended actions, cost, and the ability to authorize the repair from the link. This was followed by a phone call asking if I had any further questions before the repair started. The repair was completed the same day - and done right! Issue resolved. Upon completion of the repair, they arranged an Uber ride to pick me up and bring me to the dealership! Great customer service.

Sold me a brand new car with faulty carpet. Said no problem to fix it. Warranty carpet was a cheap felt like carpet on cardboard which they put in bubbled. 5 trips still not fixed. Manager said no to compensate me for quality difference or all my wasted time until vw corporate was involved. 109$ Still not enough to cover the lack of quality from the original quality carpet or all my time. Carpet is still not fixed!!!! (Have all texts from manager originally saying no to compensating me as well)

Everyone in the service department was great! Friendly yet professional. The vehicle runs great. My only complaint is I wanted the dash display to show what speed I'm going, but instead it just tells me that a couple things have been deactivated.

A service appointment was easy to schedule on-line. Same day service was possible, and the work was done in good time while I waited. As always, the staff is friendly and helpful.
