I've been waiting for 20 minutes at the counter, the manager told me to wait until the employee shows up, but nobody seems to care. Bad customer service, I left and went to Woodmans. This is a joke.

Went to get new tires yesterday. I ordered the tires and service online. Got to the store and they only had 3 of the 4 tires. I gave them my key and waited for 4 hours when finally someone came looking for the Kia owner asking why they have my key and what service I'm looking for. I go I ordered tires and have been waiting for 4 hours what do you mean? And they said well the person who checked you in actually canceled your appointment instead. Then they tried to charge me twice for the tires. And they also told me if I reorder the tire online they can get it shipped to the store and install it for me at a later point in time. Except I did that and they canceled it because they don't have the tire at the store. So I just ended up calling Monona store and they have the tire. So I am.goung there. Maybe pay your employees enough to care.

Left with MORE problems than I came in with!Came in for 4 tires, shopped, waited, got the good to go, then as I was leaving, a man who I thought was another customer (wearing a hoodie and jeans, waiting at a checkout) told me he zip-tied my muffler. It was rusted apart, and had a temporary fix, and did not need to be messed with (I never even mentioned it). I said, thanks and went on my way. My car was somehow louder than when I brought it in. I live not even 10 minutes away, so I peeked under my car when I got home. I found 1 (one) tiny little black zip-tie loosely tied around my exhaust pipe, and the entire thing completely disconnected from the engine. They literally pulled my exhaust off of my engine. I CAME IN FOR TIRES. WHY IS MY EXHAUST ON THE GROUND.Service: Tires

So this week I wanted to get my tires balanced. I stopped in and there was a sign on the door that said they were closed due to call ins. I came back the next morning and they told me that they dont take walk ins until 11. It was 8:30am so I left. I came back a third time several days later. This time they were able to get me in... But it.took them two and a half hours to balance two of my tires. They told me it took so long because nobody there knew how to drive a stickshift!!!... So they had to wait an hour until another employee showed up just to get it into their shop! Are you kidding me??? These people arent required to know how to operate a stickshift? Unreal. I will never trust my car with walmart again. It was a long terrible experience.

I have always had great experiences having my car serviced at Walmart, however, I had a very difficult time trying to get an oil change and tire rotation. I went to 2 locations several times over a 3 day period and was told I had to have an appointment but then wasn't able to schedule anything online or in person. I was told to go to a different store at different times and days, and then they would tell me to come back. After no one answering the phone, Ever, and running back n forth to different stores for 3 days, was told to come back Again because the staff had to take they're lunch breaks and couldn't be bothered with my request for service nor make an appointment to get it done, I Finally gave up. I still have yet to get an oilchange nor tire rotation and am 300 miles away. Dissatisfied is puting it nicely.

It's always busy and huge wait times, so I figured I would make an appt to be in and out a bit faster. An hour went by and they hadn't even brought the car in yet. Had to take it someplace else. If you come here for anything you ll waste a whole day, save your time and start by going someplace else

Don't shop walmart. Don't ignore the low rating, they will take the car you drove there in, charge you 110$ for a battery, and leave you with a car that no longer starts. Plis an out of pocket tow. Don't shop Walmart.

Went in to get my TPMS sensors checked and immediately after turning my car on after getting my keys back the dome lights in my car started flashing. It won t stop. Not sure what they did but now I have to take it in somewhere else for a whole new issue, and the OG issue is unsolved. Idk who runs this joint but lord. They were nice but I probably could ve done the same thing given the equipment was provided.

WARNING: Do not buy tires from Walmart. I bought tires from Walmart almost 3 years ago. They were Goodyear Viva 3. 6 year 60000 mile tire. Bought the Walmart warranty as well. Have them regularly rotated. I have 40000 Miles on them now. Woke up to a flat tire. Went in to have them checked rotated and balanced. Was told that they won't work on them because they don't have enough tread left on them. So they won't honor any warranty. See photos below. I see a lot of bad reviews, this place deserves everyone. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Dave & the Auto Techs were absolutely great. I had a bad tire and they were able to get me back on my trip by 8 am. We were able to make it to our granddaughter's 1st birthday! They were concerned and happy to help! I sure hope there boss knows how good of employees the have. A big thank you!

I was hung up on twice, left to ring for 10+ minutes at a time, then when I was told they would have time for tires that day they told me they couldn't give me any idea of when. So I'm just expected to sit at the store all day? I went else where and got a great deal on used bfg tires and rims for my vehicle, won't waste time at Walmart auto again.

I went there to get an oil change and now my engine is damaged. After going back up there to give them a chance to fix what they did wrong we were told by David (the older man) that the damages was there before they worked on the car. Although the receipt clearly states that there was no damages before our car was serviced. Instead of acting like a service manager, he preceded to walk off in the middle of our conversation telling the auto care manager that there s nothing left to say. The auto care manager told us that it was nothing he could do besides check and confirm the damages David said said was there. Management was overall rude and very dismissive of what we were saying. If I could give them a lower rating, I would.Update: it turns out the filter they used was no good and all the damages that was found at Walmart wasn t found at the other place.Service: Oil change

If you hate your car, this is the place for you.We went here the day before Thanksgiving to do a simple oil change as we were traveling 45 minutes out of town.We caught a staff member doing donuts & revving the engine with every car to test the car Our tire was flat the next day and we had to pray we would get to an air pump before the car broke downWe will never go to this location again. We had no issues with the Monona Walmart Auto Care Center so we will be taking it there from now on

I have been to Walmart Auto in East Madison twice now. Both times with absolutely terrible service. The main service desk guy, Dave, is incredibly inefficient. Like, incredibly. The way the auto center is run is also terrible. They do take appointments ahead of time, although not sure for what purpose. Day of they tell people it's first come first serve and don't give you any time estimate. I assure you it's upward of 4+ hours. I had an APPOINTMENT today at 8am. I got there at 750 with one person at the desk with Dave and two other people in front of me. I finally got to the desk at 820 and was sent on my way to the waiting room at 830. When I called to make the appointment a WEEK before hand, I asked how long it would take and a woman said about an hour. Here it was 830 and I was finally checked in... I did some shopping and came back, noting my car still wasn't in. Waited and waited and waited. At just before 10am I went up and reminded Dave that my appointment was at 8am and I absolutely had to be out of there at 11. He talked to some of the service guys and did make sure to get my car in asap. I FINALLY was able to check out at 11am. 2 hours longer than I thought I would have to stay and 3 hours after my initial appointment. No apology, no compensation, nothing. I would NOT recommend ANYONE to go to this Walmart service center. Ever. I have no complaints about the service techs, just Dave and how this department is run. I'll save money elsewhere. There's plenty of other places with wayyyyyyyyyy better service.

Strongly do not recommend using this service center. My wife made the appointment a few days ago in person because they would not pick up the phone. The rep helping her was super rude to her the whole transaction. We use this center in the first place because this is where the tires that we ordered online were delivered. When she arrived she was told that the balancing of the tire was not included in the changing of our tires that we had purchased through Walmart (we paid separately for the service). When I showed up to drop the car off I was told that this was not accurate and that it would be included. After the service was completed I had to wait in line for over 20 minutes will people behind me were helped first just to pick up a car.

Went in when they opened (8am) to get 2 new tires. Waited 30 min to even speak to anyone, just to be told someone hadn't shown up for work and there wouldn't be another person coming in until 10. They don't schedule appointments, so I won't be returning. I understand people get sick, and don't wanna bash the employees in any way. At the end of the day though, I went in for new tires and was forced to leave without any.

Sign and website states 7 a.m. opening, the door was locked, and there was no sign of any techs until 7:40 when the door was unlocked. Shy of 50 min for pil change and there were no other vehicles. I am done with Walmart.

Blows my mind how understaffed this place is. And there is absolutley no sense of urgancy for the staffers that are here. I showed up at 7:15am to get 2 tires. After waiting in line for an hour just to speak to someone at the desk, I waited another 5 hours to finally have my tires installed. All said, the whole process took over 6 hours. I cannot understate how frustrating this whole experience was. The courtesy of at least letting me know an estimate of how long it would take seems very reasonable. Instead I was told "We have no idea how long it will take." Absolutely do not recommend to bring your car here for any service. It's not worth the small cost savings.

I happened to replace my Toyota car battery here. after battery installation car was not running as it was unable to recognize the new battery. instead of suggesting me how could I make it work, the mechanic and service manager said the car s engine could be bad or something else irrelevant was happening. Thanks to a friend who helped me fix the issue! Very poor service.Services: Auto battery replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

Every time I ve been here to get an oil change it takes way longer than it needs to. The most recent time I was told it would take 30-45 minutes for an oil change, which was fine. It took over 2 hours for an oil change. The only positive part of my experience was the man who checked me in. I think his name was David. He was very nice and had a lot of patience, but I definitely will never be using Walmart auto care center ever again.

I had my daughter take our van in for an oil change in the early afternoon and she was told it would be 40 minutes for an oil change. I ended up calling the auto center at 2:50pm because she had been waiting for nearly 2 hours. I was surprised that they were still working on it. They apparently were showing two new techs how to change the oil. That wasn't the issue. The main reason for this review is how I was treated on the phone. The young man I spoke to on the phone was very rude, short and belittling. He made it seem like it was a bother that I was inquiring about what is happening and why it's taking so long. He offered no apology, but had rude smart aleck remarks. I would not recommend taking your vehicle to this auto center. I will for sure not allow Walmart to touch another one of our vehicles. It is my guess that his attitude shows in his work and he represents the disdane Walmart has for their customer's, overall.

If ZERO stars were an option, that's what rating I would give. The front counter staff worked at a very slow pace and didn't even acknowledge my presence for the 20-30 minutes I waited to be helped. When I came back to pick up my vehicle, I waited another 15 minutes before receiving acknowledgement, much less service. In that time, 3-4 mechanics walked right by myself, and the others waiting to be helped. I caught eye contact with the manager, who before looking up was dragging his feet, tossing a trinket in the air. I'm sure he could could see the frustration in my demeanor. He approached and asked if he could do anything. I said that all I needed were my keys so I could leave. He proceeded to say (in a very rude tone) that he could not help me because he was supervising, and that I would have to wait until the ONE counter employee came back in. WHAT?! I'm sure in the amount of time you spent dawdling around the room, tossing a gadget in the air, you could have taken care of a few people in line.If the MANAGER himself was rude, offered poor service and excuses, it will tell you a lot about how the rest of the staff is going to operate.NEVER AGAIN WILL I RETURN AND I WILL SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH ANY AND ALL WHO INQUIRE.

So, I'm not entirely sure why there are so many negative reviews, it's literally a Walmart Auto Center, if you want top of the line service you came to the wrong place. But, if you're just looking for a quick oil change or tire replacement or rotation, they're perfect. I was helped by Lydia who was very kind and efficient. I was in and out in about an hour because there was someone in front of me. The service was great and I would absolutely recommend getting an oil change here. I would also reccomend calling ahead to check their availability so you dont have to worry about long wait times.

They refused to help us I get it there was 10 minutes before close when we came in with a flat and was towed in. The tires were bought at Walmart and were under warranty but the person in charge on the 6th of June 2023 said no!!

I went to this Auto center to buy 4 sets of tires. They didn t have my size but they told me they are going to order for me if buy it. They told me that they will deliver here 2 to 7 days. I did pay it but no body called me yet. Its been almost 3 weeks. Snow is here and No tires. Too sad. I wish I would not go here. Called customer service 4 times. Too sad I will see when they call to install the tires. Wait, wait and wait.

If I could rate zero I would. We had a flat tire, had to take a cab with the flat tire there just to be told they would not put the rim on a new tire I was purchasing from them because they didn't have time. I even offered to pay extra. This is something that doesn't take a whole lot of time and I wasn't asking to have the tire put back on my truck, I was just trying to get back to work. They could have been more accommodating seeing as how we were going to buy an almost $300 tire...yeah, we caught another cab to Tires Plus and they were extremely accommodating...and cheaper!!!

I have never been to a place that is more rude! Josh the manager wouldn't even look at me when taking my information. He took my information and then asked for my keys and took a look at my car. He came back and said ya the battery is dead we will replace it. No time line given so I asked and he said about an hour. I figured I'd ask BC they were having issues with a tire machine in the shop. So I shopped and came back a few minutes later and asked another worker David if I could just get the battery and tools and I will do it myself. He said don't worry about it he can handle it and that there was no reason for me to wait after the cars getting tire work done. Please remove Josh as manager and promote David he knows what's going on.Also I saw Josh "trying" to help a man with poor English. He was clearly asking about oil filters for his car and Josh was just tapping away at his phone giving him zero eye contact. He then asked what language he spoke and the man replied Arabic. I guess he was trying to translate things but another Walmart employee came over and helped the guy.Won't be back

Be prepared to wait. You're not able to schedule an appointment and the only way to get work done is to wait at the counter for someone to come help you. I've waited, more than once, for fifteen minutes before someone came to help me. No bell to ring. The auto Care center manager Josh just wanders around with no urgency to get his work done.I currently am getting my tires changed and I saw the vehicle get parked once done fifteen minutes ago and there have been no attempts to get me checked out or to call me telling me it's done. I've been waiting in their waiting room for the past hour.I'm not sure, but it looked like the guy driving my car didn't know how to handle a manual transmission either.I don't think I'll come back here.
