In July 2023, I took my wife s car to have the oil changed.At a bare minimum I expect an oil change facility to put back on the car everything that they took off of it. After leaving this Valvoline instant oil change on East Washington, I began to smell oil. I assumed that a little bit had spilled on the engine. But a couple of days later when my wife mentioned the same thing, I took a look and realized that they had not put the fill cap back on. Engine oil had sprayed all over the engine compartment.I drove the vehicle back to Valvoline instant oil change, and the area manager was there. He told me that he would be happy to pay for an engine detail. I was told that if I came back with the receipt they would reimburse me. The next day I returned with the receipt and gave it to the manager of that location.It s been over six months. I ve sent numerous emails complete with a photograph of my receipt for the engine detail. Philip Phistry has yet to make good on his promise to reimburse me, Despite reassuring me on multiple phone calls that he would.The incompetence demonstrated by leaving the oil cap off could be considered a mistake. But failing to reimburse me after saying that you would demonstrates poor character.Update: On February 16th 2024, I received the reimbursement for my engine detail. Philip Phistry made good on his promise. Thank you for doing so. Word is bond.

Unfortunately I forgot his name, but a blonde/red haired man helped me get my oil filter off after I struggled for a few days and didn't want to stab it. Also gave me a tip on reading the (in my opinion) hard to read gmt900 dipstick, among other things for no charge. Definitely recommend this service, as they are all friendly and willing to help, they are patient and take their time to explain, and most importantly they are honest people.

Was -15 F outside. Headlamp was out. Purchased new lights from AutoZone but couldn't get the lamp out of the socket. The clerk at AutoZone recommended Valvoline across the street. The Valvoline guys had it replaced in under 10 minutes for under 20 bucks. I will go back when I need an oil change. They earned my business!!!

Whoever the manager with the blue Subaru wrx is. You need to fix your attitude. Went for an interview. Showed up early. Dude arrives. I walk in say hello I'm here for an interview. Nothing. No response. He walks in front of me and I'm talking to him and he just blatantly ignores me. Goes in back slams some papers down. Doesn't even acknowledge someone wants to come work there. So I left. They missed out on a hard working employee. The regional manager needs to teach some good customer service skills to this clown.

These guys are great at this location, always happy to help and are quick about what they do. I also noticed the car in the bay next to me pulled up and the manager let them know that they are a bit early for an oil change, showed the dipstick and let him know he has about 2000 miles left before he needs one rather than just taking the money on him. Great customer service.

The synthetic oil change was well over 100.00 which seems absolutely outrageous for an oil change. Super frustrating and I will not ever visit nor recommend Valvoline again for any service. Time to revisit your price points and your customer base.

I mean, they did a fast oil change. No waiting. Checked to see if they could do my other truck which is not a standard oil change. Helpful and informative. I'll go back in about 3,000 miles.

Needed fluids topped off. Nothing added except oil and they tried to sell me wipers. I asked them for fluid top off.

I pulled up at 8am when they opened and nobody was there yet. I figured they might be running late and I d wait 15 or so minutes and no big deal if I have to wait a bit longer even for them to open as long as I could get my oil changed. About 15 minutes later a truck pulled in (nearly hitting my car) and parked on the side of the building. Nobody got out, they waited idling (facing my car), and 10 minutes later pulled away. I figured they were a customer who didn t want to wait, so I waited another 10-15 minutes and left. I then see the same truck circling back around, so I circle too and see them pull back into the parking spot. They see me, so I circle one more time and come back to see 2-3 guys getting out of the truck, unlocking the shop, and going in. I call after a couple of minutes, knowing they are there, and no answer. After a few more calls they start picking up and hanging up on me. I would have understood having to wait if they were running a little late. But to see me there, not even speak to me, pull away, wait till I left to come back, not answer, and hang up on me, was extremely rude and unnecessary.Service: Oil change

Their level of service is not as good as the west side Gammon road location. They do a great job on the oil change and are efficient. But they don't tell you of issues and reccomend the services that they offer. I only went to this location because it's the closest location to where I live.

I got here at 8 o clock when they said they opened. I have been waiting 10 minutes and no employee has came to open up the shop yet.

There were two employees who helped me today. The first guy was very nice and helpful but second guy was very rude and actually scared me. We all have bad days at work, I feel like I m pretty understanding of that, I have bad days too but this guy was swearing at customers under his breath. Walking around the garage muttering about how much he hated his job and sick of helping customers. This first guy was having a hard time unscrewing a cap under my hood and asked the second guy to help. He was having a hard time too, swearing the whole time. When he finally got the cap off he THREW his too at the table. He also kicked something else but I don t remember for what reason. He was swearing about my vehicle under his breath as well. I was afraid to even look at this guy after a certain point. I kept catching glances at the girl in her car next to me and she didn t seem too pleased either. I m not one to write reviews or complain, I just won t go back, but this guy made me so uncomfortable I had to say something.Service: Oil change

While some of the staff are honest and hard working... the management is not. The manager himself cracked my head gasket on my car and when I filed a claim the regional manager Phil would not pay for the damage they caused. My car leaked over 3 qts when they claimed it was a "small leak" they continued to change their stories when I asked what they had done to my car. It took me going to another mechanic to find out the truth of the damage they caused on my car. The management's poor work ethic and customer service is disturbing. I would never reccomend this shop to anyone or their family. They lied, did severe damage to my car. The upper management doesn't deserve to make money off of people believing they can trust them. They expected me to just give up after I filed the claim. Do not trust Phil or ZackService: Oil change

Called for oil change they said they couldn't get my oil filter for my 2006 passat so I went to the store and bought one and 5 quarts of oil and changed my oil my self for 40 bucks instead of paying 120 to someone who can't even get me a oil filter. I even try to schedule days in advance for them to order in it. If you want it done and done right I guess just do it yourself

From the reviews, I decided to come get my oil changed at this location. I arrived to the shop 5 minutes prior to opening. Waited for 20 minutes along with another vehicle. There was one employee that was there. He did look at us but decided to continue playing on his phone. He never came to inform us whether or not the shop was opened or closed today. Myself and the other vehicle left shortly after.

The manager Yisrael was great. Excellent service and an upbeat mood on a rainy Tuesday, made the rest of my day better. He runs a no pressure, efficient shop competently run and with a chill vibe. Couldn t ask for more.

We have a fleet service here. Came in for an oil change and the employees threw their hands up and stared at me with no explanation. Obvious they did not want to work. Older white gentleman and younger black male with a black Pooh shiesty both told me to F Off and walked away. Recommend fleet services elsewhere. 1/12/23 @2:45pm.

I needed an oil change for my new car. Since the model is new, the oil filters are difficult to find. The entire Valvoline East Wash. team, the Service Center Manager, and other Valvoline locations connected, called other places, and in the end organized the oil filters directly from my Hyundai dealership. Wonderful people, great service. I'll be back for sure!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

My advice is to stay away from this business. First in line for oil change. Clearly attendants didn't want to be working, made me uncomfortable and they wanted over $100 for oil change. I left and took my business with me.

They checked all of my lights, tires, and oils with thorough communication. Wore masks, friendly staff with good jokes and moods, and are more than happy to answer any questions. They even walk through general Oil-based maintainance for your knowledge based on the car you have. All prices are communicated before action/charge. Highly recommend the East Wash location for their attention to detail and care for the car/people they service.Ben the Manager, and his team (Shaun, and some others I couldn't catch the names of) are a great and familiar team.

We went to Valvoline for an oil change, and having used Valvoline facilities before, expected great services. All I wanted was an oil change, and the mechanics were courteous, but they did a number on my vehicle. They accidentally drained the transmission fluid instead of my oil. After rectifying that mishap and completing the expected oil change, I was on my way. A little while later, while trying to drive my car out of town, a lot of white smoke starts billowing out of my vehicle. I quickly stop and ask a helpful Jiffy Lube facility to check what is up. They tell me my car is pouring out transmission fluid, the worst leak they had ever seen. After calling numerous mechanics on a Friday afternoon, to find someone to help with my car's transmission, we finally found a place. Luckily they were able to squeeze us in and look things over. Turns out, the Valvoline crew had over filled my transmission fluid by 5 quarts!! Two hours and $89 dollars later, we are able to drive to the wedding we were headed to. Too bad we missed half of it, thanks to the incompetence of the Valvoline mechanics. To say I am disappointed and exhausted with this mishap would be a huge understatement. I am speechless and would really appreciate some help sorting this huge mess out. If someone in customer service could respond, I would love to contact you to discuss this further. Don't ask me for an invoice, they did not give me one. My spouse called the facility to speak with the manager, and the manager offered the complaint line number briskly, no apology, then hung up the phone on my spouse. Great service...if I could give zero stars, I would.Services: Transmission, Oil change

I called ahead of the me to confirm if this valvoline could perform an oil change on my specific car type and the guy on the phone just answered in the driest monotone voice and just said ok and nothing else. Not a yes we can service your vehicle type or a no we actually cannot service your vehicle type. Is it really that hard to give a yes or no answer. So I drove to a different valvoline only to find out they in fact could not perform an oil change on my vehicle type. A huge thank you to the gentleman at the East wash location who simply refused to answer me on the phone. It may be wise to change professions if you hate your job and can t stand to even answer a basic question asked.

They are the most careless business I seen. They did an oil change and now my protective cover is dragging on the ground. Never again..if something is loose or anything got damaged with my car during a simple oil change, I should have at least been notified..i wouldn't be extremely mad if it was brought to my attention...took it back to the place and they give me the excuse it's not our fault but they did acknowledge they knew it wasnt secure but did absolutely nothing to stop it from being a problem.. they just let me drive away...horrible way to do businessService: Oil change

Showed up 10 minutes before opening to make sure I got a good place in line. First one there and a little after 8am an employee comes out and tells me that no one will be here except him till 9am and that I m better off going somewhere else because he s just going to let me sit outside till someone else comes to help. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable, and quick with an oil change. They caught several other issues that needed attention on my vehicle and when I stated I "just couldn't afford to fix them today", they assisted me with some online coupons and got my car back in great shape, all in about 15mins. Highly recommended!

Was there for a while due to an unforeseen problem with my vehicle that was hard to refill transmission fluid, not sure if I was charged correctly due to a Groupon. However staff and management were very friendly and got the job(s) done correctly. Thanks!

Worst experience I ve ever had! Do not go to this place. They destroyed the bottom of my car and customer service sucks even more. I should sue this place it s so bad. They can t even properly do a oil changes. This is the type of company to fix their mistakes with zip ties and send you on your way. DO NOT GO HERE. WORST DECISION YOU WILL EVER MAKE.Service: Oil change
