My mom bought a Subaru Forester from Super Trooper Motors in December of 2020. She has had little to no issues with it since purchasing it and has served her well two years into owning it. Some maintenance items needed attention, such as changing diff fluid etc., which is to be expected when purchasing a used vehicle.Everyone who helped us at Super Trooper Motors was nice and friendly. We felt no pressure about making a purchase. They were also up front and honest about known issues with different vehicles on the lot.I would definitely purchase another vehicle from them in the future.

My car got totaled and I was having an extremely difficult time finding a reliable replacement quickly and in my price range until I stopped here. They helped me finally find a car, answered all my questions, have been very accommodating, and best of all weren t the typical pushy salesmen. Overall, a good buying experience and pleasant people to do business with.

There is no way they didn't know that it needed thousands of dollars in repairs. Looks like they reset the codes so we wouldn't see what was up until it was too late. Less than 100 miles until that light came on and it is timing chain, catalytic converter, transmission. Added: Here we are, one year and two months later, scrapping the car for $395. Between the above mentioned problems, the electrical, and new tires, we spends more on repairs than the actual car. We maintained it according to recommendations, but we still lost the engine. Everything gone, left on the side of the road early one morning. Luckily were able to get off the interstate and to a safe place to call a tow truck, twelve miles from home. If you have no choice but to buy from them, make sure you have complete coverage including roadside assistance. You are going to need it. So glad we moved about an hour and a half north, the quality and prices are superior.

10/10 Would recommend. Originally wanted to buy my vehicle earlier but they were closed for the holidays. Walked a few other lots, wasted a good part of a day being pitched poor quality vehicles at luxury prices. Glad I waited and got my G6 from Michael at Super Troopers. Price and financing hit well within my budget. The staff is super friendly, way more relaxed lot compared to some of the high pressure salesmen out there. I was truly impressed by his ability to handle 10 things with 2 hands and still make me the center of his attention. And it was so speedy. The experience checked all the boxes. And now I'm enjoying my daily commute wayyy more. Can't wait until spring to drop the top. Thanks a lot guys!

Michael was super friendly and very helpful with showing us all the options he had that matched what we were looking for, and without the pushy salesman attitude. We found a great car for a great price. After a month of driving the car there was a small issue with it. We called Michael and brought the car in. Then him and the mechanic took care of the issue and charged us a much lower price for parts and labor because we had just bought the car, and he cares about customer's satisfaction. We highly recommend this place to people!

How many cars have you bought without even turning the car on? Well we can say that just happened to us! The low pressure sales approach made us feel comfortable after many failed attempts to purchase cars from other private parties and dealers. Super Troopers Auto made us comfortable purchasing a vehicle this way by being authentic, honest, and trusting when showing us cars. In addition they explained what and how they take care of cars before they are sold. We bought our car while it was still on the lift getting new tires and brakes! The entire sales process was a breath of fresh air in comparison to our other attempts of purchasing a car. The paperwork side of things was just as awesome and were in and out in less than 15 minutes. We highly recommend you buy here!

These guys are truly no pressure. I sat down to fill out financing paperwork and decided I wanted to take a day to make my decision. Michael was totally understanding and didn't pressure me at all. Called the next day and gave them the go-ahead for the starting the loan process. When I came in, the car was ready for me. The building isn't the prettiest, but don't be fooled! Both the people I worked with were great! When my debit card failed to go through, they had to run it as credit- which the customer has to pay a small % for. To compensate me for the failure of their credit card reader, Michael offered a year of oil changes and wrote out vouchers for me on the spot. Then he helped me fit my bike in the back of the car. So far, I am super pleased and so glad a friend recommended them to me.

Total Disappointment. Stay away from this dishonest dealership.I was helping my child with the purchase of a Jeep from out of state. I found a couple of nice options on the dealership website and they went in on a Saturday to take a look. They liked one of the Jeeps and test drove it. They negotiated the selling price of that Jeep and the value of their trade-in with the salesman and then provided the financing approval through their credit union. I provided my credit card information for a down payment. Due to the credit union's Saturday business hours, and a conflict with the salesman's personal schedule, arrangements were made to complete the paperwork and pick up the Jeep on Monday. Monday came and we were told that the owner of the dealership came in later that Saturday and sold the Jeep. Apologies were given and promises made to make up for the "mistake". I spoke with the owner personally and he said he thought the Jeep had been sold but couldn't find the paperwork so he sold it to his customer. He told us both that he would make up for the "mistake" by finding a better Jeep at auction and selling it at cost. A couple of days went by with a few computer screenshots of Jeeps sent that were not really within the parameters of what we were looking for, and then nothing. Follow up text messages and phone calls have gone unanswered.Super Trooper Motors = shady business practices and no integrity. Take your business elsewhere.

I purchased a vehicle over the past two days from Super Trooper Motors. The staff, Ben and Mike werr very polite and accommodating. I drove my cChevy Sonic off the lot today. I noticed there was an issue with it this afternoon and called to speak with the dealer Mike. He assured me that I could bring the vehicle in on Monday and that his mechanic would make right the issue with no charge to me. I was understandably upset but I will say that Mike was a complete professional and I appreciate it.

SHADY DEALERSHIP WARNING! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE. I purchased a Honda Civic from them for $6000 and within 500 miles the transmission went out completely. The owner Michael told me that he won't do anything about it, and told me to stop contacting him. I'm leaving this review because I'm quite frustrated, to say the least, and to prevent this from happening to you. There are plenty other dealerships in the Madison area, so I highly suggest you bring your business elsewhere.

We were looking at various cars online & visiting local dealerships. The salesman was honest, friendly, and didn't pressure us at all. We didn't end up getting a car there, but still felt good about the customer service.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM PLEASE!! I bought a Pontiac Torrent from them in February 2022 for $3,500! It is now September 16th 2022 and I don't have the car anymore because the gas fuel line randomly popped and started gushing out rivers of gas onto the concrete... as this was all taking place I was parked in line to get an oil change at woodman's with my baby in the car. I had to put the car in nutural and push it off to the side with the help of 2 guys from the shop!

I bought a car a few weeks ago from Super Trooper Motors and there was a few things that needed some work. They took care of everything for me before officially giving me the vehicle to take home. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle a couple issues had arose at which time I contacted Michael the owner and he and his crew took care of my issues no questions asked! All around good experience and confident purchase especially knowing they are so willing to listen and help!

I had bad metallic sounding brakes and they got me in right away. Gave me several options, and were incredibly reasonably priced and fast. The even answered every question I ve ever had about cars. Even offered a lift. I will be back soon with my other vehicle. They also have a great selection of used vehicles at great prices. Give them a holler, you won t be sorry.

I went in to get my brakes replaced and I had good service. When I was leaving they gave me a laundry list of things my car needed fixed. I just hit 100,000 miles so I knew there was a chance of needing repairs. I went to another trusted (a little more expensive) mechanic. They looked at the list of repairs that Super Troopers told me and inspected my car. After the inspection all that I actually needed was an air filter and two tires. Never again! Don't trust the mechanics you may be replacing parts that are fine and spending a lot more money than needed!

Came in for basic service, guys were extremely helpful and fully explained what I needed and why. Not that I didn't believe the prices I received weren't a good deal but I price checked/compared what they did at Sears. Farm & Fleet, and Tires Plus and Super Trooper Motors beat their prices by a long shot, without even trying!! Highly recommended. And after reading some of these other reviewers claims I just can't see anybody there ever deliberately wronging a customer! I was there for several hours getting brake pads, rotors, tie rods, ball joints, and wheel bearings done and I seen and overheard them deal with many customers from all walks of life, even some pretty ignorant fellows and the staff was always professional and courteous, even in the back after some pretty outlandish encounters I could hear an employee privately telling another worker about an experience they just had with a customer and even amongst themselves they were still professional and mild mannered when they thought nobody was listening.

Solid cars, great prices, best service!I had some light winterizing work done on my Subaru Forester last month and the Super Troopers noticed that my head gasket was about to blow.When I was ready to have it worked on they got me in the next day. Also talked me down from freaking out when when it started belching out smoke from coolant in the oil.The work was done quickly and with regular updates from the shop including pictures of my beloved Fozzie with the engine torn apart.10/10 would not hesitate to recommend Super Troopers for sales or service, especially if you have a Subaru that needs a little head gasket love. They know what they're doing and treat customers like family.Price was very competitive.

Super trouper motors on fitch hatchery road has to be the worst place in town. It even gives the city of Madison a bad name. It took them over 2 weeks to return my car after repairs only to find out that all of the repairs were not done. I paid $1600 they charge me an additional 200 over the quote. They spoke to me very rudely about their customers. It took them an additional 2 and a 1/2 weeks to give me a receipt and a list of the repairs that were done. They are so unprofessional, rude, sketchy and janky. They must have took a class on how to give their customers excuses. Because they have a lot of them.

super friendly and fun atmosphere! very down to earth and knowledgable group of people. my forester was super clean inside and out! they even had baklava and cookies for us to snack on! id say my first car buying experience went awesome and i really appreciate them going above and beyond for my family!

TERRIBLE. PLEASE DONT BUY A CAR HERE.I wish could give negative 5 stars .Took a Honda to the dealership to be inspected before purchase, thank God I did, turns out it wasn't even legal to drive. Front break pads were 2mm and they swore up and down they were at 8mm. Car needed over 2k in repairs, they had 0 service records of the car, or any car facts, literally had no clue what they were selling.The salesman literally said "I'ma be honest man, I don't really know anything about cars". Boy what a factual statement! Generally unprofessional and sketchy people and place, they'd tell you anything to get you to buy something.

AMAZING staff and ownership!!! Recently purchased a vehicle. The owner went through every single thing that was wrong with the vehicle (mostly cosmetic) The vehicle was running when I got there and ready for a test drive. The inside of the vehicle was immaculate and very well detailed. The owner and other workers easily delegated tasks so that I was out of there so quickly after test driving and inspection of the vehicle! Ignore naysayers for sure!

Just saw a vehicle purchased a month ago at this dealership up on a hoist (I have friends in the auto service industry) and I can tell you...I don't know what the owner paid, but he's looking at at least 5k in repairs. Rear seal leaking. Gaskets are leaking. Engine is covered in fluid. The body is in terrible shape (looking from underneath). Rust everywhere. It won't start. Spare tire on the front. It literally looks like it was sitting out in a field somewhere, and they pulled it out and cleaned it up to sell it. Mechanic recommends junking it rather than putting the money into it to fix everything that's wrong with it. These guys are shady. Go somewhere else.

This is a very unprofessional business! My car blow a tire but I didn t have a lug nut wrench. I walked in with my I d and offered them $10 to see if I could borrow one for a few mins. They told me they were gonna call the cops. I was just asking for help! Luckily when the cops showed up they helped me out changing my tire. Badger city auto sales and campus cars blows these mean ppl out the water

most of, if not all the reviews on here have to do wth a car buying experience, not their service work that everyone needs sooner than later. I just left super trooper motors, and I am totally upset and angry. I had work done and instead or going into exactly what happened to my car, I will just say what happened. I was interrupted even before I was able to state my problem, telling me it wasn't their fault. they were not going to help. Michael brought the tech out that did the work, after he and the tech had a discussion between them, I'm pretty sure to get their stories straight before confronting me. the tech, John basically called me a liar. I raised my voice and added a few words that I wished I hadn't. Michael told me to leave even before I could get the name of the fluid they used along with the fluids information. Michael told me to leave right now! He said I was being aggressive, I said I preferred the word assertive. I will check back with the outcome of what happened after we go to court and see if they are able to resolve the problem. how easy it would have been to hear me out completely and asked me how are we able to help instead of trying to deflect blame and (take a look and listen to the video and audio they record to get exactly who said what). I proposed a very simple and inexpensive resolution to my problem. I want them to replace my tranny fluid, not leave 2 different kinds of fluid in my tranny. And, I also said I was willing to buy the fluid myself, it is expensive. Nope! Just leave and don't come back! I thought o was very reasonable, how do you think you would feel if you had this happen? I am retired military and suffer from PTSD, it was all I could do to keep it assertive instead of aggressive, I do know the difference. Thank you for reading and please consider what they say about taking care of their customers! it is easy to "take care" of the customer when it costs you nothing. that is my side of the story, I'm sure theirs is different, however we have video and audio that we are able to check!

I can not say anything more AMAZING about this place!! I live about 30min away and in the rain with my 8yr old son, I had a tire issue couldn't get home, was raining and they were open and so beyond helpful got me fixed and home at at an extremely affordable price and so quickly!! I have been bragging since! My son even made friends while there thank you so much all of you I couldn't be more GRATEFUL! And reccomend you to anyone!

Incompetent people or unfortunate sales tactics, either way terrible experience. Called on a car, got put on hold for 10 mins, finally came back and said it was available so I scheduled an appointment. Called again an hour before to make sure it was still available and they said yes. Made the drive from Milwaukee to Madison and turns out it was sold and already gone. Tried to sell us on another car which wasn't even similar. Never coming back.

Refuse to repair vehicle. After working on for alternator the power steering pump was leaking and it was not that way when it went in the first time for repairs. Report to BBB

Best group of guys ive ever dealt with at any car lot. Great, reasonable prices, and willing to work with you to please you in any way they can. Definately go see them if you need a car. If somthing isnt right, they will go out of thier way to make it right.
