I hope my review can help to people who is not experienced on buying a new car. This guys are really honest, helpful and straight forward. There is no hidden fee, no pushing to sell you their additional packages etc. It was pretty comfortable and easy purchase for me. I was concerned about dealing with complicated processes and hidden fees before visit Smart Toyota at Madison -because I know some of my friends had really bad experiences on different dealerships-. Thanks to Nathan and Terry for their help and honesty. They made everything pretty easy and understandable for me. I asked all the questions that I have on my mind and they answered all of them accurately and patiently. I really felt comfortable during whole process. Whole process took 1 or 2 hrs and I left from their dealership with my new 2024 Camry. They are working for you to get best rate, they are really good professionals and very attentive about what they are doing. I visit Smart Toyota at Madison after I heard experience of my friend. He was insist me to go their dealership. Because he was really happy about his purchase and staff. Right now, I really want to suggest this dealership to whoever wanna buy a new car, like my friend suggested to me. I bet you will leave happy from their dealership !

The employees are professional and respectful. I was pleased that Jessica was the one who helped me and communicated with me by phone. She took several days to help me with what suits my budget and also my desires for the car that I aspire to. I will never forget the company manager. He was a very nice person. Thank you all. It was a wonderful experience with Smart Toyota and I highly recommend it.

This was my first car-buying experience with this dealership, and I must say, it was fantastic. I've known Mia for about 1.5 years, and her professionalism truly shone through in making this process easy, fair, and enjoyable. Despite the supply issue preventing me from getting the Prius LE I initially wanted, Mia helped me find a larger hybrid car that perfectly suits my needs, all at a reasonable price. I'm thrilled with my purchase and grateful for Mia's outstanding service!

I went to Smart Motors when I was in a pinch and needed a new car ASAP. I had never bought a new car before and had an idea of what I wanted, but wasn t set on a car yet. ShawnPaul made a stressful process enjoyable. The whole team was so nice and approachable and I felt that I could trust them when making this big decision. Definitely would recommend!!

I can t say enough about the excellent people and service at Toyota. Everyone was friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Austin Frye, who went above and beyond to help me find this beautiful Highlander Hybrid. He worked so hard to solve a couple of delays which allowed me to drive away two days earlier than expected. Austin is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We will be buying more vehicles from him in the near future. Can t wait to work with him again.Wendi

I can t say enough great things about the overall buying process and the employees that work there! Shawn Paul in particular is great at his job! He s straightforward, honest, quick at responding, and caring in ensuring you get the most out of your purchase. He made the whole process seamless for me and I was only at the dealership for about 1-2 hours! Highly recommend Smart Toyota and Shawn if you are looking for a new Toyota vehicle!

Awful customer service. They refuse to help me get my second key for a brand new vehicle because I purchased it from a different dealership in Wausau, WI due to inventory being so low and the wait for a Tundra from Smart was over 8 months. After this experience I will never even give Smart the opportunity to sell me a vehicle in the future. Terrible local Toyota dealership!

My Toyota Sales person was Cole Cossette. Cole was absolutely exceptional to work with! He was very personable as well as professional, answering questions and providing information throughout the purchasing process. He is highly knowledgeable and maintained consistent and comprehensive communication on-going and anticipated questions that I had. I felt well taken care of with this level of customer service and would highly recommend Cole to any one interested in a new Toyota vehicle!

I just bought a 2021 Corolla Hatchback from Austin Frye at the Smart Motors dealership. He has been the best salesman that I have worked with while car shopping. Very transparent with different payment, warranty and purchasing options. The best part of the buying process was finishing final paperwork with Austin, rather than the finance manager at the dealership. I cannot recommend Smart Motors or Austin enough for buying a vehicle!

I purchased a used vehicle back in early May. Shpend was my salesman. He was informative and very personable. After my purchase there were some items that needed repair(s) Shpend and Greg(sales manager) were always there to help along with the service team. They really stepped up and remedied my concerns. Five weeks into my car purchase the car had a major unforeseen issue and Greg called to talk and give guidance on how to move forward. With his expertise on the issues at hand we decided the best decision would be to replace the car. Greg along with salesperson Ray found me an even better car. I was and am very impressed and pleased with my now new used RAV4. Ray even moves my window stickers from my old car to the new one ! Everyone was very nice and paperwork was efficient. I would give them more than 5 stars if it was an option. I will return to the dealership for service work and when and if I need a different vehicle.

When buying a Sienna, the Smart Motors sales team pushed us hard on selling a full priced platinum warranty. When servicing a Sienna, their service team pushed hard on not honoring our platinum warranty.David in service said my car care protection plan for the 60,000 mile check didn t cover anything but the oil change and tire rotation. I asked him to call the warranty company and they agreed the whole service (e.g. new spark plugs) was included.The mechanic said I needed $4130 in repairs (water pump, brake pads, shims, battery terminal, alignment, brake fluid, rotors, sway bar links, struts etc.) and David said they were not included in our warranty. Again I asked him to call the warranty company and David said the water pump was covered.I asked David if he had checked if the other repair items were covered and he said yes he checked and no they weren t. Given his reluctance to admit our platinum service plan covered the 60,000 mile service and the repairs, I was skeptical he had asked them.David was off the next day, and after I read the warranty to see if the struts and sway bar links were covered (as clearly stated in the policy), I asked Greg (he was covering for David) to see if our warranty covered them. Greg called the warranty company and found out they were covered, so it s hard to believe David had actually checked with them the day before.Greg was absolutely amazing to work with, so helpful and kind. And the women working at the car loan area were also exceptional. There are some top notch people at Smart. Thank you Greg!We had a terrible sales experience with Ron in November when we tried to purchase a new Sienna (would have been our third). We had check in hand ready to buy it and Ron kept pushing the warranty telling us how often Toyota s break down and how expensive repairs in their shop are. Turns out, he was right.

We purchased a truck at Smart Motors Toyota with help from Nathan. We stopped for a test drive twenty minutes before closing, and Nathan still got us taken care of...with a positive and friendly attitude! The process was straightforward, with no sneaky "car salespeople" tactics once you entered the finance room. No haggling, no upcharges, no surprises. We left feeling much more optimistic about the car-buying experience, and Nathan had a direct role in that. Smart Motors is lucky to have him.

Online app said I could not wait in the lobby. When I got to the dealership, I saw there was people in the lobby.I got a text saying my car was ready when I got to the dealership, it took about an hour before my car was actually ready.I will not be buying a car from Toyota after multiple bad experiences.

My car experience was great! Dana R. & Al F. took great car of us. We were on the hunt for a vehicle after totaling ours with a deer. Al and Dana went above and beyond. They helped us go from lot to lot, test drive many vehicles, and help us say YES to our new 2015 Yukon! Not to mention we were in and out with a new vehicle in less than 2 days! Car buying experience at its best! This is my 2nd vehicle from Smart Motors and I can honestly say I will never go anywhere else but here! I not only appreciate the staff, Dana and Al, but I want to send a huge THANK YOU! Your patience, dedication, and kindness made the entire experience amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I wouldn't recommend, no attention to details and no follow though.I brought my car here several times as the Toyota app was indicating a problem with the headlights. The two trips were maybe 3 months apart, both times they kept my car overnight but I was not advised of this until after I had spend all day in Madison, I live almost an hour away. The first time they called stated "they didn't know what the issue was but had cleared the code and I could pick up my car." The second time they attempted to do the same thing but I pushed them to dig deeper.They kept the car a second night and ended up calling Toyota it was determined my car didn't have the headlights that the system was stating needed servicing and the whole ordeal was a software issue within the Toyota app.So lets get this clear, twice techs visually inspected my car, twice checked that headlights were operating properly on their Multipoint Inspection sheet. How can the front adaptive lighting system be functioning properly when my car does not have those kinds of headlights. Also note regular headlights and front adapting headlights look different, this was not caught by their "top techs" and who know who else multiple times.I fully understand this error could be overlooked once but I genuinely believe I would have been brushed off had I not pushed. Since I didn't trust their word I requested the warranty be extended, they of course declined this and offer to push corporate to cover it should I have this issue again. The issue I should never have because I don't have those headlights...how nice of you. They did offer a $100 gas card but that has yet to arrive and it's been about a month.

I was looking to get a new Corolla on their website and not even a day later, one of their sales consultants Nathan reached out to discuss details.I had to wait for my vehicle at the time (which I already expected), but during that time I was able to test drive another Corolla that had similar features as the one I was planning on getting. The time I had to wait for my vehicle, Nathan made sure to keep in contact.This was my first time purchasing a vehicle at a dealership, so I wasn't sure how the whole process would go, but Nathan did a great job walking me through that process.Overall, he was very kind, professional, and transparent about financing options. I'm very happy with my experience on purchasing a vehicle from Smart Motors, and I'm glad I got to work through this process with Nathan!

I purchased a 2021 Corolla last month, and couldn't be happier with the car and my overall experience. Jessica was very knowledgeable, helpful, and just a great person. I really enjoyed working with her. She made my car buying experience painless and straightforward, and she was never pushy about anything (which is what I appreciated the most). I had a very bad experience at a different dealership earlier that week, and was dreading going to another one, but Jessica couldn't have made my experience any better. I've only had the car for a month now, but it's still going well!

I had an awesome experience with Shawn Paul at Smart Motors. I really appreciated the way he worked with me and accommodated my schedule and car preferences while purchasing my first vehicle. Most importantly, I never felt pressured or pushed to make any purchase before I was ready. Shawn Paul listened to what I wanted in a vehicle and helped make sure that I got exactly what I was looking for. He and his sales manager Mark were also both patient, communicative, and helpful in facilitating an OOS vehicle trade-in. Overall, I had a really positive experience!

First time buying a vehicle from Smart Motors and I must say I am very impressed! Nate was my sales guy and he was awesome. Through the process of questions, reserving a car, or the final pickup, Nate was great! He informed me of the progress of the vehicle arriving along the way as well. He unfortunately was not able to be there on the day I picked up my new vehicle but he put me in great hands with Mike who was very thorough and all around closed the deal.Both great sales guys!! I bought a used Prius from Smart eight years ago and went back to buy another car to replace it today. I worked with Ray Harp, who was very kind and professional, walking us through all the various features and elements of the new car (a 2021 Venza). I find big purchases like this stressful, but Ray put my wife and I at ease and answered any questions we had without any hesitation or judgment. I use Smart for all my vehicle maintenance as well and they are always excellent. They are never pushy. Very glad to have them in town.
