Jeff was super helpful getting our vehicle fixed in a timely manner. He quoted me 50% less than Christian Brothers (Sun Prairie), Parks Auto (DeForest) and AKA Automotive (Windsor) and was able to fix it the next day. Highly recommend!

Jeff is great! He's very responsive and unbelievably honest. He charges fair prices and gets the work done fast. Jeff only suggests the work that actually needs to be done. Jeff really does great work and his rate is very reasonable. Just had my wife's car in for a full brake job, and a year ago he replaced my fuel sending unit on my GMC Sierra. I trust his opinion & never felt taken advantaged of. I plan on getting more work done in the future. SCAM AUTO SHOP!They took my gf car and worked on it. Failed to inform her that they have some new policy. This poilcy is that they inspect your vehicle and then charge you for it without telling you about it.The inspection is clearly designed to scare the customer into spending thousandS, yes thousandS of dollars under the threat of not being allowed to have youR car back due to safety. Again all this was never disclosed to the customer.The prices are higher than anywhere weve ever gone before.Assuming they were trying to take advantage of a woman that doesnt know cars, the manipulation was clear. On the phone with me, i was then lied to. Repeatedly. Since all communication was by text with northside, they were unable to prove or manipulate or gaslight their way out of the lies.Northside auto is a scam. Ive lived in watertown many years and never came here....but now that i did....and read these fake reveiws...i warn anyone who reads this to stay away. None of these positive reveiws are from real people. None of these people exist. These are strange fake names. Trust me, no one with names like this live in predominately german and irish watertown wi. I have never heard of a single person on here. They are fake. The only real reveiw are the ones that tell the truth. Northside is a scam artist and should be ashamed. Go out of business. Get out of watertown. The people here dont need this.

Jeff is the best mechanic I have worked with in Madison so far! He is extremely kind, will explain everything he is doing, and is very focused on making you satisfied. He just fixed the AC in my vehicle for a fair price, and he did an excellent job. I plan to bring my vehicles in for anything else that may come up in the future.

Amazing service!! Jeff is so nice and honest and does great work. My coworker recommended him and I'm so happy he did because I haven't been able to find a mechanic I like in Madison for 6 years. I won't be going anywhere else from now on unless I absolutely have to. I don't know anything about cars other than how to drive them so I'm always nervous to talk to mechanics but Jeff is personable, kind, and straightforward.

Jeff is great. Anyone who has worked with Jeff can tell you this. He's always honest and professional. My entire family trusts their cars to Jeff. And we have been going to him for years.He will let you know right away if he can't work on something for you (custom work) and will make a great recommendation.He has great communication and keeps you updated through all steps of any repairs and quotes you realistic and honest prices so you can make decisions.He provides quality and fast work with honest and fair prices.I highly recommend Jeff and Northside Auto. You won't be disappointed.

I have been taking my vehicles to Jeff for 10 years, give or take. He is the mechanic you always hope you will find: honest, reasonably priced, and competent. If the repair needed is not something in which he has expertise, he will recommend another shop.Once I had my currently-owned Toyota Highlander at a dealership, and they recommended rear brake work, at an estimate of $800; Jeff did it for under $200, including parts, labor, and tax. I previously owned a Mercury Grand Marquis, and sometimes he would find a much cheaper shortcut when repairing something.You can't go wrong with Northside Automotive.

In all my years with auto mechanics Jeff is the most honest & professional. He actually will tell you if something doesn't need to be fixed. This is a great shop and they have always done a good job for us.

Very honest and kind mechanic! I have taken my truck here a few times and he always fixes it quickly and doesn t take my whole checkbook to do so. Explains what he s done in a way I understand as well.

Very informative. Actually showed me the area on my car I had questions with. Truthful and honest. Although Jeff doesn't do larger, more complicated jobs, I would highly recommend taking your vehicle here for service.

I have Jeff in my phone as Jeff the Honda guy.While that's far from all he knows, he knows Honda's to a degree that instills trust.Reasonably priced but a bit backed up since word of mouth and returning customers keep this shop busy.

Jeff at Northside Automotive provided top notch service through the whole process. I described the issue over the phone and he actually recommended taking the car to a dealership as he wasn't fully up to date on the latest training on my specific issue. He was due to have the training that weekend so I left the car with him to look at anyway. He looked at it in preparation for his training and couldn't find any issues. He kept me up to date on what was going on. When I came to pick it up he only charged me for the oil change I asked for, despite spending a good amount of time chasing the other issue.In short, a great person and company to do business with. Friendly, prompt, and honest communication, good work, and very reasonable prices. I can't recommend them enough.

I have never had such great auto service anywhere! If I lived in Madison, I would be a life-long customer.September 30, 2014, I was moving my son from Minneapolis to Indianapolis to start his first job out of college. He was driving a U-Haul and I was driving his car, which developed a fire under the hood 5 hours into our trip. Northside Automotive was the closest place we could find on Google.Jeff at Northside was friendly, honest and awesomely helpful. He diagnosed the problem in about 10 minutes and got the necessary parts in immediately while he and the others took a short half hour lunch. They put all their scheduled work aside to focus on our repair and had us back on the road within 3 hours! The price was even $40 less than what Jeff had originally quoted.Thank you, Northside Automotive from Chris and Janet L. 5 out of 5 stars!

I've got 320,000 miles between my '97 F150 and '01 Taurus, and I've been in to see Jeff about 5 or 6 times with different issues. Jeff really listens to the customer. When I told him I didn't want to invest a ton of money into these vehicles, he understood just to do the bare minimum to keep them on the road. He didn't pressure me into buying calipers even tho it looked like I might need them, for example. And when it turned out that I did, of course he did a great job replacing them, too, and in a very timely fashion. Also, he really saved my butt by noticing that the gas tank was about to fall out of my F150 and taking the initiative to get a new bracket in there. Last spring he researched an issue on Taurus windshield vent damning up filling the cab with water. There was no recall but at least he checked to see if he might get Ford to pay for the problem. Anyway for $100 for parts and labor he did what I thought was going to be a prohibitively expensive repair.

I heard about Jeff through my employer (we get all of the service vehicles done at Northside). Decided to check him out. Very fair, talked it over before doing the work and it was done in a timely manner as promised. Will take my other vehicle in soon!

I am the owner of this business and have spent the last 30 years giving my customers quality service at a fair price. I have not tracked my business reviews online and was shocked to see a negative review by a person we have never performed service for. (Naeem Iqbal)You can be assured that all work is done professionally,promptly and at a fair price.We offer a hassle free warranty(if there is a problem we make it right) always. We do have more than a half dozen other repair shops on Acker Road and I would suspect this negative review is for one of the other shops on Acker Road. I just had my breaks changed by this auto repair garage, and I must say I am impressed.Last week I noticed that my breaks were squeaking (to my dismay since I had them changed last year). My roommate had needed break work done a few weeks back so I asked where she went and she told me (obviously) that she went here. She explained that whens he took her car in, the guy (Jeff) inspected the car and told her that she didnt need new breaks, but rather they needed to be cleaned, he cleaned them and didnt charge her anything.I knew then that this was place for me. Someone who is honest.So to make a long story shorter... I had my rear pads and roters changed (the pads were down to the metal!), he said that the front ones were at 50% so he didnt advise that I need to change them, but offered the price for the work.All in all both rear pads and roters, plus labor and tax came to $170.00.If you want friendly service from an honest guy, then please go here. Oh, and if you do, tell him Tony sent you, I am the big guy with a big beard.Thanks for reading my long winded review.Tony

Fantastic! The guys here are very knowledgeable and the prices are very fair. And something you don't see often in garages any more, you can trust these guys. I have found my mechanic!
