Nate is by far the most honest business owner i've had the pleasure of dealing with. His prices are incredibly fair and customer service is great. Will only be taking my Suv here moving forward.

Excellent shop and great service! Nate the owner does his best and delivers every time. I have been a customer for many years and this is the only shop I trust on my vehicles. Great prices too, I highly recommend!

Nothing but good things to say. Communication via text is very helpful considering I work 10 hour days and it's hard to step away from the floor. I can't believe how quickly the work got done. and also very reasonably priced. Great customer service as well. My car is old and has issues but Nate was able to give me an idea of what needed to be done sooner and what could maybe wait. I will come back here to have more work done and I'll recommend this place to anyone who needs a mechanic.

Great service and reasonable price. Price based on payment method (ie lower with cash to avoid processing fees), which I can appreciate as a business owner myself. Will definitely use again in the future.

I've been coming here to NRG for a couple/few years now, and I will not go anywhere else.I can say confidently that Nate is the most honest and knowledgeable mechanic I've ever had service my vehicle. There's been a handful of times I've stopped randomly with questions/concerns and I would leave the shop with a better understanding of my car's issues. Not only is Nate honest and he produces good quality work, but he's affordable too.If I could give 10 stars I would, and for all the other reviews on here that praise him, believe them!The only issue is is that there isn't enough Nate's in the mechanic industry.

Love this place and the service I get from Nate. He's usually very quick to get me in and get my car back on the road and he's never tried to upsell me on anything I don't need like some other places.

Nate is the most amazing mechanic you could hope for. He is incredibly knowledgeable, flexible, and efficient. He has come to my rescue multiple times. There's no car problem he can't fix, his rates are incredibly reasonable, and he gets jobs done in record time. He communicates via text which is very convenient for a busy schedule!

Nate is the man!! I ve had so many issues with getting overcharged by mechanics or having unnecessary work done. I can t say enough about his awesome customer service, his pricing, his knowledgeability and expertise. I had a ball joint that was rapidly deteriorating and Nate squeezed me in on a holiday weekend because my vehicle was unsafe to drive the distances I need to for work. One you got to NRG, you ll never go anywhere else. Thank you so much, Nate!

Nate, the owner, is an honest trustworthy man.I have been going to this shop since December 2017, and happy to see them grow and improve ever since then.Nate and Kenny are true professionals and a huge asset to the community. They do not BS around you and are truly great human beings that you would want to be friends with. The best part is that they will be transparent with you regarding every part of the process, especially, when they are not sure about the issue/solution. Super happy customer here!This place is one of a kind and the owner is a gem. He's a solid and honest guy who does great work. Very professional with top notch communication from the beginning.He even helped me out when I had a mini emergency WITHOUT CHARGE. Can't say I'd get that kind of assistance anywhere else. I found a nail in my tire one afternoon and by 3 PM NRG had fixed the leak. He got me in within 30 minutes after I contacted him and my tire was completed an hour later! He was quick with his communication/service and treated me like a valued customer. I will be recommending NRG in the future due to his quick communication, excellent customer service and very reasonable pricing!Service: Tires

Nate is great mechanic. Attitude and skills. I took a pre owned car which I just purchased to him. I explained to him the need to get it inspected quickly. He did inspect it very early in the morning, and called me to let me know about it s condition. He charged me very little which definitely less than the value of his time and I appreciate that a lot. My friend gave me good referral!

Nate has done several repair in all 3 of our vehicles, his services are affordable and he does an excellent job. No need to look anywhere else or overpay anywhere else, highly recommend him. Nate does a great car repair. He fixes what is broken only. His prices are reasonable and he's very knowledgeable about everything cars.He's so busy you have to make appointments.Been going to NRG since it opened on Milwaukee St.

lived next to NRG for a year and it definitely gives off a more casual vibe but after hearing from some friends, I knew I had to try to use them. They were about 2 weeks out for appointments but brought my car in at 8 am today and car was done by noon. prices seemed to be reasonable.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Nate was the most up-front and honest mechanic I ve ever worked with! Not only did he help save us from the super high costs of dealership repairs, Nate took it upon himself to reach out to other shops to find the parts we needed ASAP.The basis of my review: Best mechanic in Madison, and I will absolutely be back!

Professional, timely and always honest. I can't say enough good things about this shop. One man shop but works hard and is truthful with the customers. Nate, offers a free diagnosis for your automotive needs.He is very reasonable in his prices, and will not sell you something you don't need for your automotive needs. He is safety conscious and you should make an appointment. Tell him Tom sent you.

I have known Nate for over 15 years, but lost track of him shortly after he stopped working for a well-known national auto repair chain around 10 years ago.I was finally able to catch up to him 2 weeks ago and found that he has his own shop now. I had an issue with my 01 Tahoe that he fixed quickly...and without trying to sell me any unnecessary services or overcharge for the repair or parts.I had my Acura break down 3 days after Nate fixed my Tahoe. The Acura dealer tried to charge me almost $1100 to replace an alternator and battery for my car. I worked with Nate and got the same work done for less than half of what the dealer wanted.Nate has always been known to look out for the customers needs first above all else. He has been that way ever since I met him way back when, and I will be taking all of my vehicles to him from now on when they have problems. I am so happy that I caught up with him.I highly recommend NRG auto repair!

Gotta give some serious creds to N.R.G. Automotive Repair, SPECIFICALLY NATE!! Managed to run over the only piece of 1/2" friggin pipe sticking out of the road and of course, got a flat! down the road towards the end of the business day, and when litteratly every other shop within 5 MI had an appointment time of tomorrow to next week, Nate stopped what he was doing and within 30 minutes was able to sneak me in between jobs and had a plug put in a tire and me back on the road like it was nothing! And I didn't have to give him my bank account and social security numbers to get it done either! Great prices and a great group of guys! Definitely recommend them!

I'll never go to another mechanic as long as I live in the Madison area. Nate and his guys have the best prices around (replaced 2 wheel bearings for me for about half the price of big chain autocare places) and do great work. He won't try to squeeze you for anything either. If you need to get a hold of him you can call or text and he's very responsive. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're having car problems, this is the first place I would go.
