Phenomenal service. I came in about a week ago with a crack in my exhaust manifold. Javier fixed it promptly, and for significantly less money than I was quoted on the phone! After a check engine light related to the repair came on shortly thereafter, I went back to the shop and Javier offered to replace the part for free! Fantastic service, great prices, quick service. I will be coming here for everything I can going forward and you should too.

Called for a quote and the staff was helpful and concise. My truck s exhaust was setup different than I had thought so the quote was off but that s entirely on me, not the shop. They came right out and told me options and made sure it was good to continue. I didn t feel pressured or upsold. They were quick and efficient. Will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks guys!

I been holding off getting my car looked at because I have a newborn and didn t want to sit all day with her, but I went today and it was a very quick trip. Unfortunately, I did not get the mechanic s name, but I told him that something in my muffler was rattling so he pulled my car in and checked. He said it was a small piece he needed to replace. I asked him the price and it was not much at all. After he finished I went to pay and he said not to worry about it and that meant a lot to me more than he knows. They will forever have my business.

Went in a couple weeks ago for a muffler (a day earlier I also noticed fluid leaking by a rear wheel) They inspected & told me I needed a caliper & a resonator. It took a couple hours as they had to wait for some parts. Very reasonably priced.Typical shop, not real clean, but didn't need to be. I would have given 5 stars except for the receipt. It was hand written with nothing itemized. Customers should be able to have an itemized receipt with parts & labor costs broke down. A hand written receipt leaves an impression of fraudulent possibilities.I definitely would go back though.

Someone cut out and stole my catalytic converter from under my car. I called around to see about pricing and time I kept getting the runaround with other places. When I called here they where straightforward gave me a quote that sounded good said I can bring it in to look at and go from there. I took it in they looked at it brought me in told me what they needed to do and could have it done right then and there. It took less then 40 minutes and had me look at it to see what they did looked good as new. This was my first time going here and if I need anything done that I can not do my self I will be taking it here.

Got work done there about 2 years ago. I was very happy with the service. When back recently to get work done. The manager gave me a outrageous estimate then he Another employee to tell me price. The employee was shocked himself on the estimate. Manager or person in charge wouldn't even talk to me about it. I was kinda shocked probably worst experience at auto shop. Fast and courteous service at a reasonable price. No up sell or pressure to get repairs that aren t needed. Highly recommended if you want good service. I had 2 struts put on and they fixed my exhaust.

Every time I go here Im impressed. Great service and they usually get me in and out quick... and for way less than I expected. I recommend getting there first thing in the morning when they open.

They are always so polite and got me in right away to remove an animals nest out from under my car that was unreachable for me. Thank you guys This is not their average service, but I didn't know what else to do. They also changed out a muffler for me about a year ago on an older car. They did a nice job on that also.

I have an older Toyota Corolla that I was trying to get one more winter out of and I didn't want to put that much money in it but with exhaust because of the legalities involved sometimes there is no choice. I grew up working in an auto shop and know the trade well and could have done it myself and knew what my cost would be but I do not own a torch and removing the old system and bolts would have been a problem. In the end I only paid 150$ total above what my cost on the parts would be if I had done it myself which is well more than fair. If your looking for polished floors and coffee in the waiting area this is not your place but if you want quality work done right at the right price then this is where you need to go. I have had exhaust work done on 3 vehicles at this Mex Muffler and also the one in Janesville and take it from a mechanic, they know what they are doing do it right and the prices are more than fair. I was able to afford to replace the whole system and its welded together, no clamps anyplace and you cant beat that with an exhaust system. I cant speak about brakes or anything else but they have the tools and are well equipped for what they do and they also make their own pipes ad do custom work as well some of which I have seen. Exhaust and brake work are two of the dirtiest elements of working on a car and this shop stays busy so it isn't flowers and donuts but they get it done right at the right price and that's what really matters. I am 6 months and 20,000 miles into this system now and there has been no problems at all. Compared to the chain shops this is where to get the best work.Service: Exhaust

I contacted MexMuffler to get a second estimate on muffler/exhaust repair after getting a really high quote from the dealership. The staff was very friendly and helpful both on the phone and when I came in in person later in the day. They got me in right away, took me under the car to show me the problem and explain the work they would be doing, and completed the job in less than the 30 minutes they estimated it would take. The price I paid was exactly what I was quoted over the phone and a fraction of what the dealership said it would cost. Overall one of the best automotive repair experiences I've had--I'd definitely go back to them if I needed more work done.Service: Exhaust

Not only did I NOT need an appointment, they pulled my car right into the garage within a minute of getting the key. The work didn't take long at all. They were very courteous and the price beat out other garages from $300 to $1,200.00 dollars!!! No lie!!! My car sounds like new again!!! Bought an aftermarket exhaust for my car, sat under there for 10 hours trying to get these screws out of the bracket my y pipe connects to. My friends and I tried everything, from torching it, to sawing off the bolts and drilling them out, everything.. eventually I sucked up my pride and took it to this shop, got quoted a decent price, and they got it done. I really appreciate you guys, thank you so much!

I've gone to Mex Muffler many times over the years, ranging from oil change to exhaust work. Today's visit was to get an estimate on rusting axles I was told would snap by a big brand shop I utilized when out of town. I fully intended on using M.M. to get this taken care of but wanted to know a) how soon before I died if not taken care of and b) how much $ I needed to scrounge up.Mechanics walked me into the shop while up on the lift to let me view the undercarriage with a flashlight. They saw minimal rust. Looked fine to them which means it looks fine to me. Thanks for the continued honesty & decent pricing + vast knowledge.

First come first serve. They got me in and out before my coffee got cold!! Great job. My only issue was told it would be $130 it ended up being 200$. Still great work

I had been getting aftermarket dual exhaust, put on at the shop for about 15 years now brought the car here as they re always my go to since they opened an East side location they quoted me $850 for some thing I took to the competitor on East wash and got done for 300 cash. I can no longer in good faith recommend mex muffler for any custom exhaust work.

My exhaust on my 1999 Ram 2500 truck was making squeaking noises. I checked with my usual garage and they suggested Mex Muffler. The staff was very good at diagnosing my problem which included replacing most of the exhaust system which had holes in it. The work was completed faster than the estimated time and was less expensive than expected. Good work and great customer service.Service: Exhaust

The quality of the work is good but they really are out there to price gouge you.I took my vehicle in to get an exhaust system put on. I already purchased this and it's basically plug and play. They quoted me $220-$320. Even then I thought it was quite expensive but I needed the work done. I asked them since they were under the car if they could change out my upstream and downstream O2 sensors. They said it would be $150 extra because it was a tight fit. No thanks. They have my car on the lift and notify me that the flange on the connecting side is rusted and they'd need to cut it off and weld a new one on. This cost a $100 extra bringing my install to $320.I ended up paying $320 for them to install a bolt on exhaust system from the mid pipe back to the mufflers. The only extra work they did was cut the old flange off and welded a new one on. The only upside was the technician welded the pipes together VS using the clamps that came with the exhaust system.Stay away from them if you want to keep your hard earned cash.

My family & I were headed out of town for the holidays, hadn't even hit the highway before we began having car troubles. It was our first experience at MexMuffler and I'm so glad we discovered this place. They don't take appointments but we were in and out in less than 30 minutes! I was so thrilled about how long it took but even more excited about how extremely fair their prices are. No trying to sell me on things I didn't want or need. Good people doing honest work for an excellent price. We will definitely be back. Thank you MexMuffler! You saved our holiday travel plans!

Stopped at the Stoughton rd location and spoke with a tech about installing some catalytic converters in my car. Was quoted around $300 to install the parts once I had them. Called a few days later once I had the parts to confirm work and cost. Was quoted at $165 then. Was there 1st thing next morning and then the price went up to $560. Refused to pay twice the original quote. Went to the park st location and they quoted me at $1200+...... What a joke! Only difference was the first time I went in looking dirty and broke, got a good price.the next time I was clean with nice cloths and jewelry on. I feel like the changed the price because they felt like they could get more out of me. Crazy thing is the service I need done is 14 bolts removed and parts slapped back on. Maybe an hour...so they want $1200 an hour for labor.

I took my Mini Cooper in for a loud muffler (there was a hole near the manifold). I was told my muffler was all 1 piece so the entire unit needed to be replaced, they quoted me a price of $650. I declined and took my car to another reputable muffler shop. The muffler is not one piece and I was able to repair the piece that had the hole in it for $60.I called to speak with the manager, was told the manager was busy but the man who answered the phone could talk to me. I explained the situation and the outcome. He remembered me coming in. I said that I felt like they saw a woman coming in and thought they could pull one over on me. He laughed and said no the entire piece needed to be replaced. I explained again, no it did not.Please don t take your vehicle here

Went here because of the great reviews. They were spot on. I needed a new muffler because mine had rusted out. They showed me the rust points which were obvious and quoted me $180 which was $50-100 cheaper than everyone else and said it would take 45 min. It was done in 20 min and the welds look fantastic. Don t hesitate go here first!

Was in and out the same day I showed up. Amazing service, phenomenal job, and compared to to any other shop out there they are unbeatable for pricing. This will definitely be my first stop every time I need work done on my car.

They will get you on the road for a good price and in a timely manner. However, they will also steal your catalytic converters and their welds will not last much longer then their warranty period. Also, they will do it the quickest and cheapest way possible, meaning, your exhaust will not have proper flanges and hangers. If i had noticed these things while still at the shop i would have said something. However, i put my car away for the winter and now too much time has passed. I do not recommend unless you like bad work and things stolen from you.Service: Exhaust
