I am new to the Madison area and had an issue with my car, so I brought it here to get looked at. I didn t have an appointment and they were able to take a look at my car right away. The staff was amazing and very kind. They were completely transparent and took the time to explain the issue/fix to me in detail. I ended up needing a new muffler and they were able to order the part and make the repair all in one day and for a very reasonable price. I am so glad I found this place! I will definitely not be taking my car anywhere else from now on. Highly recommend!!!!

My mechanic recommended MexMuffler for exhaust repairs. They are walk-in only and take cards and cash but not checks. The guy working the front desk is friendly. They did great work and let me come into the shop to take a look while my car was on the lift. For those who don't know much about cars, don't worry - they don't up-sell, just do exactly what is needed. My car is running smoothly again and I'm very happy. I'll be back next time I need exhaust repairs.

I had an exhaust leak at the split of my exhaust pipe, I drove to their location with no appointment. They got me in right away, only took 1.5 hrs to complete welding in a new piece of pipe. The price was great and the service was thorough and friendly. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for good service!

The gentleman here are professional. I have taken almost every vehicle. I've had that needed something done to it to them. That was in their capability and they handled every job above and beyond what I could have ever expected. They are extremely helpful to work with.

This place is super customer friendly. It s not fancy, but they treat you well and they don t do any work or use any oats that aren t necessary! They are actually good at REPAIRING instead of just throwing away the whole muffler and all the pipes they replace only the broken/rusted components and reattach what still works to keep costs lower!The work is good And they are speedy!

Been here a few times over the years, always great service at great prices! Cannot recommend enough (and I'm skeptical of every car shop, I can't help it and I'm sure I'm not alone). Checked my brakes for free, and so nice! TEN STARS

Can't say I'm very impressed and bit misled based on these reviews. I understand for the average customer they probably provide great service. Customer service was great. However, I have a custom exhaust and just needed it modified a little to prevent it from scraping after lowering my car by welding in 2ft of new pipe. It's an okay job, but it could have been done so much better if a little more thought went into it. The driver & passenger pipes were welded unevenly, and the welds weren't even fully completed because I guess they didn't want to remove one clamp to remove the exhaust and finish the weld. So I ended up taking my car home and completing the welds and sealing the leaks myself. Maybe the other Mex Muffler shop in Madison would have better standards, but all I can say is that I'm dissatisfied with this shop's quality of work for custom applications. I wouldn't say it was a job worth nearly the $220 I was charged.Service: Exhaust

So nice and helpful. Was worried my muffler was coming loose. Enzo told me to stop by anytime. When I went, they looked at and drove my car while I waited maybe 10 minutes. They said there were no concerns apparent to them, but if I had more trouble to be sure and stop back by.

Gave me a quote parts and labor 140 on an extremely ez fix got there and they wanted 40 more, said "I'm good forget it" and I fix the problem my self for less then 20 all facts permanent fix also bad business.

Oil change for $30 in 30 minutes? I can t complain! The mechanic also mentioned he noticed a few things about my car not running properly, and was very courteous about it!

Showed up at 9:00 a.m. Within an hour, I had a diagnosis and an estimate which was less than half of what I had been quoted elsewhere. The work was done within 2 hours, and now our backup vehicle is whisper quiet. There is a one-year warranty on all work. I can't recommend these guys enough. And they are a small business, so I'm happy to give them the work. Do yourself a favor.

I can not say enough good things about this place. I called to make an appointment, and they said I could just bring my car over. They had my car up on the lift in under 10 minutes, and a few minutes later, they took me out and SHOWED me exactly what was wrong. The mechanic quoted me a surprisingly low price and a short amount of time (as compared to the other estimate I had just come from elsewhere). I asked to schedule an appointment to have the work done, and he said he could do it right then! I was so impressed. My car works like new and it took a fraction of the time and cost I was going to spend elsewhere.

These guys are amazing. They do really good work, really fast at 1/3 of the price of big box shops. I m a welder and I can tell you that the welds on these exhaust systems are great. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Really nice guys too.

What a great experience! Reasonably priced, speedy service and a one year warranty in their work! Not only did they figure out what was needed very quickly they showed us what needed to be fixed and told us what it would cost before starting the work. Once the problem was figured out, it took only about 20 min to get it fixed and on our way. I would definitely recommend these guys for any of your exhaust needs!Service: Exhaust

Replaced my brake pads and rotors faster and at a lower price than any other place in the area, and gave a 1-year warranty on the repairs. Everyone there was very kind and professional! If I ever need more work done, I ll be coming here first.

Best car mechanic experience we ve had: fast, reliable, responsive, and fair. Great team that fixed the exhaust in no time. Practically did an oil change for free after a previous place had left the filter loose, resulting in rapid loss of oil. Highly recommend!

We had a 2009 Pontiac and its exhaust system was missing a piece and the car was not safe to drive anymore. Every place we brought it gave us a ~ $4,000 quote to replace the whole exhaust. MexMuffler was suggested to us by a mechanic. We brought the car over and they fixed the issue in one or two days for less than $600!We were considering selling the car since it was not worth paying $4000, but now we re driving it and couldn t be happier! The staff are also super friendly and nice.This is where you wanna bring your car if there are issues with the exhaust system, a no-brainer!Thanks MexMuffler!!!

They told me exactly what the problem was and reasonable price. Fast in and out. The best fastest mechanic work I've had done on my car in a long time. I will definitely be going back to them for my other needs that they do. And tell everyone about them.

The absolute FASTEST service work I've ever had! I mean honestly, I have waited longer at McDonald's for "fast food" than my experience here at Mex Muffler. From arrival to driving out of the parking lot...less than 20 minutes! The staffers were all polite and waved as I left. Cost for exhaust repair was very inexpensive. I've heard that this is the place for exhaust work...it is all true. I would recommend this place all day long. thanks guys!Service: Exhaust
