Super service! Took my Warn winch in to be fixed and they had it done in a couple days. I m glad businesses like this exist yet where one can take a winch, or alternator, or starter in and actually talk to a real person about repair. Fast service, fair pricing. I needed my Case tractor starter checked. I talked to Aaron. He replaced the Bendix checked and cleaned it. Also replaced the solenoid . He did this in less than a day after I dropped it off. I couldn't have been more pleased with the workmanship and speed. They were very reasonable. Put it back on the tractor and works like new. I highly recommend them. Thanks Aaron !Mike

I started going here 5 years ago and will never stop. I trust their workmanship better than a product from a parts store. I know Aaron takes his workmanship very seriously. I would trust this place with anyone of my vehicles. Always helps right away if possible especially when my plow truck went down cause of an alternator. They had one I could switch out right away in the parking lot and I was back to plowing in mins. Thank you guys for your hard work.

Sincerely recommend.My car has been dying since November. I'd taken it to Honda 3x and another mechanic once and no one could figure out why. I wasted nearly $1000 replacing parts that Honda suggested and my car continued to die when it sat for more than a day. I knew it wasn't the alternator, battery, battery cable, or me leaving things on. I was about to give up and sell my car for a huge loss. I took it to Finicki and they spent ONE HOUR and just over $100 and found out which fuse the draw was coming from. I unplugged the fuse and let my car sit for 52 hours just to be sure we found the problem, it started right up. Still could be a couple things on the fuse, but at least I can manage it now! I'll be taking my car here for any future electrical needs. THANK YOU!

I have a 70s classic that I dont let just anyone cut into and had avoided replacing part of the wiring harness because of concerns about shotty and expensive past repairs. These guys did a great job, we're conscientious, knowledgeable and extremely reasonable in price. I now have piece of mind and a place I'll be returning to for future work.

I was driving out of town when I saw that my low tire pressure light was on. I noticed Finicki Auto and decided to pull in. I was not sure if they could help me since they are not a tire store and they looked to be pretty busy. The owner, Mike and his employee, Aaron, could not have been nicer! They had me go around to the back and not only filled my 1 low tire, but checked ALL my tires, without my asking, IN THE -30 degree WEATHER. Soo kind. I will be sure to use them if my car needs work in the future. Thanks guys!

Finicki Auto Electric is extremely knowledgeable, they can rebuild & repair any industrial, agricultural, auto and marine starters & alternators. I have had many alternators and starters rebuild here an had 0 problem and they are going onto 3 years now. Highly recommend and will always be a customer here.

Highly Recommend!! You will notice 99% of Finicki Auto & Electric reviews are 4.5 to 5 star reviews. You may think this is to good to be true, but after taking my troublesome alternator from my large motorhome to him I can easily attest to all of the positive reviews. I wish there were more business's in the service industry that could do excellent work, on time, and at a fair price like Finick Auto & Electric. I worked with Mike (the owner) and found him to be very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and one that truly cares about each one of his customers.

Mike and his staff have serviced, rebuilt, replaced, and otherwise solved ALL the starter and alternator needs of the fleet of sailing yachts at the University of Wisconsin Madison, Hoofer Sailing Club. I've taken every burned out, broken part to him, and he's turned them around often the same day. Even beating the deadlines we have to get out boats back in service. I take my own car and boat needs to Finicki, and spread the word to others in the sailing community. I HIGHLY recommend this business!Thank you Mike.

Over the years, whenever I have had an alternator or a starter problem, Mike has ALWAYS solved the problem, quickly, and at prices that made sense. i have never had any additional problems once the repair/rebuild was done. Excellent.

Very experienced and helpful staff. They rebuilt my alternator a year ago and I haven't had any problems since. They are great people to deal with. Take your starter or alternator here.

My customer had a onan 4,000 watt 4KY Spec K - RV generator that had a smoked starter. Based on the inspection that they performed, they decided to provided my customer with a remanufactured unit instead of rebuilting the original. The quality was better then the orgininal. The starter mounted up with no issues. The generator started up and ran.. They have very good customer support ..Farr Services, LLC

First, the hours posted here are wrong. They close at noon on Saturdays, not at 2.Second, I went in at around 11:30 AM, was told by a helpful person that he could do some work I needed the same day.I mentioned twice that it was a 40 minute round trip for me to go home and get the other part he needed to do the work. He never bothered to mention that they closed in 30 minutes.I made the round trip to find the lights off and no one there. Not super happy.

Bad experience for me. I took my alternator in for bearings and brushes. After a one week wait, it came back with the slip rings machined with a grossly excessive run-out of .015 inch. Alternator failed shortly after being installed. The shop would not refund the cost of the bearing and brush service. They did not understand the need to have skip rings machined accurately.I need to make it perfectly clear. I don't "think" the slip ring run-out was .015 inch. I measured it with a dial gauge that is exactly what it was. The run-out should be more like .001 inch. A mistake was made when my skip rings were machined.This shop thinks that .015 inch run-out was okay and the brushes will maintain contact with the slip rings. This is what the employee at the counter told me as we observed clearly wobbling slip rings. I think the brushes will skip off the skip rings blowing out the voltage regulator at higher RPM. This is what happened to my alternator the first time I had my engine speed up to 5000 RPM.Mistakes happen. I think there should have been some effort to make it right.

Aaron was great I brought my alternator in to get looked at and he told me everything I needed to know and answered all my questions he got the work done in a timely manner and the price was a decent price.
