My engine was overheating and my check engine light came on. I didn't want to drive far so I searched for shops in my neighborhood. DBs is right on the bus line between my home and my work and they had good reviews online, so I made an appointment. From my first call to dropping my car off to speaking to the mechanic over the phone, I was very impressed. I worked in the automotive parts industry for several years, but, as a woman, I am sometimes talked down to by mechanics. I did not feel this way at all at DBs. They explained the issue and what they were going to do in a straightforward way and quickly established trust. The convenience of being able to pick up my car until 9 pm at the BP next door was just an added bonus since many mechanics close during normal business hours. I also feel like the price was very fair. I was without my car for less than two days when some other shops couldn't even get me in for several days. I will be back and have already recommended the shop to friends.Services: Engine repair, Oil change

Have my car oil changed at DB and it was done on time Very nice and honest people. They didn't tell me to get other things done that I don't need. Will be back again

My husband and I were visiting our family in Madison, when our car battery died. We got to Db's and had the pleasure to see Bill. He had worked on our car before we moved to Ms. 5 years ago. Did a Great job!! Thank you!

Dropped my car off in the morning I was late they told me they might not get to my car today as they were backed up, They called me a few hours later saying they were done. I was very very impressed with the work. Reason being my car seems like it s running better than it was before. Front desk was rude and accused my 86 yr old grandfather when they totally missed understood him and now refuse service because they got hurt feelings they turned down a 3000$ job that only takes mayb half a day...front desk employee needs to be fired I walked in and he should never talk to customers the way he did and definitely accuse an old man because yall have hearing problems and don't kno how to work with people..pathetic they say he accused them of putting a bigger hole in the catalytic converter he would NEVER ACCUSE ANYBODY GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT AND I HOPE YOU LOOSE YOUR JOB

Have taken my vehicle here twice this year...oil changes...engine mount...and a new side mirror...Josh at the service desk is a pleasure to work with and get quotes for the work youd like done now or even a future project of which I'm thinking about some performance upgrades. They are so up front and honest that it has given me the courage needed to go ahead with this work as I know they will stand behind it. The mechanic they have does absolutely terrific work to boot. Cant beat it. Highly recommended!

We decided to make a change in our mechanic after years at the shop. These guys are honest, reliable, competitively priced and most importantly for my business... FAST with quality results. They not only handle my fleet of vehicles but also my personal vehicles as well. HIGHLY recommend DB's!!

Absolutely AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING Customer Service.My transmission died on the way home to Minnesota. The garage was recommended by a relative of my wife. The garage was in CONSTANT contact withwith updates on the status of our car's repair.HIGHLY recommend.

I have had my vehicles serviced here for well over 5 years, as well as utilizing the Budget Truck Rentals they provide. Very friendly service all around. Techs are honest and do quality work, well exceeding what I have experienced at the dealerships as well as other locations.

They got the job done but will overcharge you. 4 hours of labor for two tires and an oil change is a ripoff. Guy at the desk is not a people person and the convenience store staff is rude. Didnt feel welcome, didnt feel like they were looking out for their customers either. There's several other 5 start auto repai shops within a 1/4 mile so I would recommend you take your business there.

I have brought my personal and business vehicles to DB's for a variety of things. I never feel like I'm being over sold. They make everything easy and I leave trusting the work they provide. Will definitely return when needed!

2 months ago I went in to have my wheel baring replaced and an oil change, went smooth as a bell. I put on about 1500 miles since this with a vacation in between so I was out of the country for two weeks as well without driving my car. When I got back my car ran fine for awhile but then one morning on my way home my car died and wouldnt turn back on, I coasted into a parking lot and walked home. Come to find out the oil plug vanished and my oil drained out on my way home.. I thought my engine was seized and I was screwed. I replaced the plug and filled it with new oil. Still no luck. So I tinkered with it trying to manually torque the crankshaft to build up oil pressure, still no luck. Things were looking pretty bad so I called DB's and asked for some help. Terry came with a tow truck expecting to take it back to the shop but low an behold he got it to start!!!!! Turns out I flooded the engine trying to get it to start. He helped with that and gave me some other advice with my car and left free of charge.Thank you Tad an Terry! For standing behind you're service work. I will be returning to you guys in the future.

I started bringing my cars to DB's in 2005 and continue to do so 13 years later. This is a great family owned operation. They do excellent work They are extremely honest and fair.

Great honest service. I ve always had enjoyable experiences especially when I m usually freaked out because my car has broken down. It helps they have good donuts and beer too highly recommend taking your vehicle here

This place represents Budget Truck Rentals. However, they refuse to help any customer that is in any type of situation. My wife and I moved to the Madison area, and after already having many issues with Budget, DB 66 did not help Budget's cause in trying to be a company worthy of any customers.We called DB at 7am on January 2nd (they were closed the 1st, and we could not leave any messages directly with the store), and asked if we could have an extra 20 mins to drop the truck off because of my mother-in-law having had a car accident, she had my wife's car, and my car is a manual, and my wife doesn't know how to drive a manual. The lady I spoke with was very terse, and said she was "alone" at the shop, yet after explaining my situation, put me on hold to check with someone about it. We quickly changed our pre-made plans to accommodate DB saying "Have the truck here at 8am, or else".We arrived at Budget at 7:55am, and we walked in and was promptly told by the lady that the Budget rep wasn't here yet. We then waited TWENTY-FIVE MINUTES until the Budget rep even showed up!!! The gentleman representative for Budget at the DB 66 location was very hostile with me, even at one point exclaiming "Do you want to argue?!". He then told me they do NOT represent Budget, nor do they have any power regarding costs from Budget.There is only ONE reason I'm giving this business 2 stars, and that's because we filled up the truck the night before, and when we got there, the needle was not pointing at the "F" on the gas gauge. We only had $5 on us, and we put it in the truck, and we were still short by 1/3 of a gallon ($1.10 at the pump). They did not charge us the fee for returning the truck without fuel. However, it took my wife (whom I consider the Mountain Lion to my Kitten attitude with customer service people) getting irate with him to get him to not charge us anything and check out.I will *never* use Budget again, and it's 80% because of the treatment that I received at DB 66. I am also going to be turning these poor reviews over to Budget directly. @Mitch - you drive around a BMW 5-series... you are rich, and only get respect because you spend way too much money at a place that treats normal people like they're scum. Not to mention, any Budget prices you got were not from DB 66, they were from Budget, as the "representative" there said they do not control any of the costs, nor do they "represent" Budget.

They kept my car for four days after i specifically told them the problem from the start only to call me and tell me they don't want to work on the problem I described and to take it to someone else. This is because they don't want to tap a hole where a bolt broke off on a thermostat. was told they dont work on cars someone else worked on. What a joke. What car hasnt been worked on by someone else. Leary of a shop that isnt capable of taping a stripped out bolt hole and would instead send the repair elsewhere. Again i told them from the start another tech replaced the thermostat and it was leaking and that a bolt had broken and was probably stripped and causing the leak.

Great place and great service. Yes they may not be super friendly at all times. Never a bad experience for me. but wrenching on cars all day is hard frustrating work.

DB's always does their utmost to make sure you and your care are taken care of. Over the last few years, they have consistently provided excellent customer service and they are stellar at standing behind their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The staff are DB's is exceptional, great people to work with and very knowledgeable!!! I won't take my vehicles anywhere else!!! They do amazing work and won't work on anything without talking with you first

Witnessed older gentleman ask them for jack or if they could change his tire for him They refused to help him and the lady in Gas station Krissy Went off on him. So I stepped in and changed it for free, I work for Local tow company and will not be bringing cars here again!

The owner and his henchmen are terrible humans. I'm actually writing a review from 4 years ago because they continually erase previous reviews. My experience was bad enough that I make sure to check back and write reviews even after my old ones have been erased to inform consumers to avoid this place. They are rude, demeaning, and generally shady characters to deal with. Avoid at all costs.

My car broke down when I was out of town and I was lucky enough to be near DBs. They were able to get a new alternator delivered and had me back on the road in less than an hour.
