(Don't worry guys, they'll just say I'm a troll and was never a customer here.)I purchased a car from this company in 2018, made consistent payments up through 2022 when the company (I presume) filed for bankruptcy (probably to avoid responsibility for something) - They never contacted me to continue payments, removed the website, were unreachable by phone/e-mail, and seemed to have disappeared off of the face of the planet.In late 2023, they're trying to sue me for money I owe. I have tried to contact this company for the better half of a year trying to sort this out, but it seems they're more interested in filing bankruptcy, avoiding responsibility, and suing people who had no other choice but to buy through them.Please go somewhere else. It's not worth the stress.

I got my car repo in 2014 its now 2023 and I'm finally being sued by a company that filed bankruptcy and I done had 20 jobs in them 9 years and just now my money has been being deducted!

They make it seem like you re getting a great deal. They do quick fixes on some things and then when you drive off the lot they stop working. Went through a divorce and they refused to remove my ex off the title. Super high interest rate even with mediocre credit. Glad I refinanced and am saving over $140 per month. Staff can be really rude, I ve had duplicate payments pulled and missed credit reporting. The only good thing is they will go to fix the credit reporting and put money back if they take too much.

I just bought my first Avanti from Capital Auto credit Auto sales and it was Experience. this was my first experience buying a car from a dealership and they made it very easy for me. I only came twice to talk to them and everything was set. The first time I came in was to get some information and also figure out if they would work with my credit because I don't the best credit score at the moment. everything went smoothly. the second time I came in, I had all the required documents I needed, and the deal was set as they promised. I am happy they are able to work with me and help me re-build my credit at the same time. thank you Capital Auto Credit!

Awful. Rude. I was in a tough spot when I purchased my vehicle here. I would not suggest anyone do it, no matter how tough a spot you are in. Get a $100 car off Craigslist. You'll save thousands of dollars and not have to deal with a company that is actively looking for any excuse to take their car back. And, make no mistake, it is their car. They are just charging you extremely expensive rent hoping that you can't make payments on an overpriced car because you have no better options.Stay away. Far away.UPDATE: Still the worst. Even when I'm current I'm past due. Their representatives say one thing and do another.I have advised this company that I refuse to deal with them by phone due to past outright verbal abuse from their employees. So, no, as the response from Capitol Auto suggested, I will not be calling your rude and inept staff to yell at me for being current on my payments. If I could take away the lowly one star and replace it with a zero, I would do exactly that.

After getting turned down 3 different times at other dealerships due to bad credit, these guys were able to help me. I traded in my truck for $100.00 and put $100 down for a down payment. The vehicle I got is worth $9000.00 but the sticker price was $12995. With interest it'll be a lot more. I purchased the car a month ago and no problems-(knock on wood). Sam the the rep that help me was cool. The price I'm paying i should be driving a foreign. But without these guys I would probably be catching the bus. After a couple of years I should be able to refinance somewhere else.

Since I bought my car 10 days before my birthday last year, I have had nothing but great service with these PPL. Please understand they are normal people trying to give you or someone a chance with bad credit. They are friendly when calling in to make a payment and are quick to answer questions and want to help you in any way. This is my first car loan ever and I have very happy with the service they give me. Not surprised most ppl that take a loan here go under because they either cant afford or don't care about the loan. Be responsible and don't default on the loan, its really not that hard to keep up with payments, it pretty easy. I am almost halfway on my loan and I haven't had one issue with them. Cars cost a of $$ well duh...its suppose to. Thank you Francisco and Cap Auto for helping me obtain my very first car ever!

Preys on people who can't get loans from legitimate dealers or banks by selling them vehicles for way over their actual value at very high interest rates. My vehicle required over $2,500 in repairs within the first year and a half after buying it. Also gives you very little grace period for late payments. They'll send the repo truck within a week or so.Bottom line- DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Don't take my word for it, read all the other one-star reviews and horror stories.

This place is AWESOME. I had no credit, they gave me a chance, yes the interest is high. After perfectly paying 3 year I have a good credit score. I refinanced the car at a lower interest rate. Thanks to this excellent place for giving people like me a chance.

Do not go to them because my car got totaled in an accident back in 2011, i brought them all the paper that was needed to use my gap insurance but because they did not want to drive to Illinois to take pictures i was not able to use my gap insurance. Now they keep harassing me about payment and today they ran my credit with out my permission. I will be for sure be calling a lawyer on Monday.

Capital auto credit is anazing! We fell for mad city sell's ads and went there first. They got us approved, but for our first born child as a down payment. We were giving up hope but we went here first. The manager greeted us with a friendly smile and my butterflies dissapeared. I felt comfortable with him. He was so friendly, he sat down with my husband and I and talked about our situation. He got us approved for VERY LITTLE down, but for a car we were not interested in. My husband was able to speak to him and he completely understood. He got us into the car of our dreams. And for a payment we can afford. Once we left we realized the heater didn't work in the car. We called their service manager and it's in their shop being fixed as I type. The best part? They are fixing it for no cost to me. I HIGHLY recommend coming here! This dealer is here for the people !

My boyfriend Tyrone just purchased a 4 wheel drive SUV from Francisco on Friday and it was a Great experience. Francisco worked with us and found Tyrone exactly what he wanted. It was nice to have a place to go to that works with you and I just want to Thank Everyone involved, especially Francisco because having credit issues should never stop anyone from trying to better themselves and too many car dealerships are like that. As soon as Tyrone pays off most of his suv, I myself will be dealing with Francisco to trade in my Ford Fusion for my own SUV!

When i first got my car it was going GREAT !!! Auto payments were going good and the staff was friendly than after a yr and half things started to slip and get really nasty ... i told them back in Sep 18 to stop my Auto Payments and they continued to pull out of my account at the bank causing me NSF ... IN MY ACCOUNT SO NOW I cant make a payment unless its on a debit or credit card or bringing the payment every 2 weeks into the store and i live in Beloit ... ive been so inconvenienced and ill NEVER GO THROUGH THIS PLACE AGAIN !!! Would not recommend this place to NOONE

Not sure where to even start. Two hours after I drove the car off their lot, the check engine light turned on. Ran the codes and it came out to be both O2 sensors. A few days later I took the car out of town about an hour and a half, and went to go start it- nothing. It wouldn't start. Thankfully I broke down at a shop, when they put my car in the air, the bolts that hold in the heat shield were completely rusted through, and the heat shield was just hanging there. And the starter was completely corroded, which is why it wasn't starting. The shop charged me $220 and stayed up until 2am re-manufacturing my starter on the spot, 1 1/2 hours away from home, I didn't get home until about 4am, and only got a couple hours of sleep before work.Frustrated, I contacted my sales guy from Capital Auto Credit and explained to him that they should reimburse me for this, since the starter was checked off on the sheet to be in good working condition, and it clearly missed their inspection. The sales guy told me to talk to Tom, the service manager. So I give Tom a call, and he works with me to try and set up a time to get my car fixed. He also explained to me that I should talk to the sales manager over at their sales floor for the reimbursement, which makes sense, Tom is a mechanic- not a sales guy. So I email my sales rep and ask for the sales manager's number. The response I got was: "Tom, our Service Manager, handles all mechanical and service-related issues. You should direct all of your concerns through him."So to this I replied: "When I ask for the number for a sales manager- that s what I expect, reason shouldn t matter. The sales managers are there to handle higher-level issues. " And to that email I have gotten no response, this was three months ago.The only reason I'm giving a two-star review, and not a one-star review is because they did help me get into a car that I liked. Here's a list of my reasons for a bad review:- They'll act courteous and friendly upfront just to sell you a car, after they sell you the car, don't expect that same service.- Cars are horribly over-priced, generally they're 3x the cost of what you could get the car for on Craigslist, or from a private-party.- Cars are very unreliable. They'll show you that the car starts and drives before you buy it, and after you buy it you're stuck in a contract with them, so there's no going back.- I asked several times before purchasing the vehicle for a list of what was wrong with it, and what has been fixed, and I was reassured several times that this list will be in the packet of papers they give you- it was not.Here's a list of problems I've had in the past six months (~4,000 miles) of owning my car from them:- Both O2 sensors are bad.- Heat shield not attached to car.- Starter was completely corroded, and only started the car maybe a dozen times before giving out.- Factory sound system fried out of nowhere front-to-back all four speakers, factory amplifier, and head until all fried due to a faulty wiring problem.- Very hard misfire while at idle- RPMs drop to 400rpm before the engine catches itself.- Front-left tire was on loose.- Brakes aren't the best.Keep in mind that I've never missed a payment on this car, and I do mechanic work myself, and I've always kept up with maintenance on the car.

I bought a car from this place , worst decision of my life. So today my husband went to CarMax and they pull up the full report of my 2003 Pontiac Grand am and it came back that my car has been in not 1 but 3 car accidents and CarMax said that the car was repainted to cover the accidents hmmm yup Capital auto is a scam and liars they never disclosed this information to us, do they really think we would have bought this car if we knew it had been in 3 accidents. Then , if that's not the worst, after we find out about the 3 car accidents my husband called them and spoke to Doug and Doug tells my husband " What car hasn't been in any accidents" . Oh seriously Capital Auto credit , You all will be hearing from my Attorneys very soon Capital Auto , and I'm pissed on top of all that the total cost of this TOSSED AROUND ,REPAINTED LEMON is $16,600. CAPITAL AUTO YOU ALL HAVE TWO OPTIONS AND THOSE OPTIONS WILL BE DISCUSSED MONDAY MORNING, you all should have mentioned that this car was in a accident , you all sold me a car knowing that it was unsafe ,CarMax said that the car was almost totaled that's how bad the accident was. Doug, Travis, Rob, Francisco scammed the wrong family we will see you all in court.

Predatory lending. After I signed the paperwork for the vehicle. A salesman and someone from the finance team openly admitted that they only pay $2000 dollars per vehicle at the most. Yet my total charge was $11,000. And they continue to do this to so many people. They need to be shut down.

When I was having problems Capital Auto Credit staff were very understanding. Since day 1 there has been minor problems with the car and the a major problem just recently rite after the warranty ran out and it WAS covered and fixed.... Thanx for saving the day Capital Auto Credit.

My son got a car from here. He has NEVER missed a payment and is all paid up through January. He had an issue with the car stalling and he had to have it towed...the mishap happened to be the spark plugs and wires that were in an OPEN RECALL STATUS when they sold it to him. I have called there several times requesting they compensate for this problem and was told they didn't have to do that last year when he bought the car - but have now since been directed to fix OPEN recalls. I sent them the paperwork only requesting they cover the RECALL item (not the tow) and after several weeks still have heard NOTHING from them. This is very disconcerting...btw, in discovering this open RECALL it was discovered that they sold the car KNOWING the engine had a tendency to catch fire - another recall. Great stand up establishment - that is sarcasm. RIP OFF CON ARTISTS!

Friendly, honest. Pointed out every dent/ding/scratch and said "I just want you to be aware of everything." That's very appreciated. Ended up with a car with just a few paint chips that you wouldn't notice unless looked at very carefully, but they pointed out each one. Nice to purchase from an honest salesman/dealer.

I thought it was going to help me but come to find out they did a 20% interest rate on me with now I'm pay 4 times the amount the car was orginally priced at so that capital auto for stealing my money! The sale people wont tell you everything, they will even try and get you to get new licenses plates when 90 percent of the time you dont just more money in there pocket!!!

My wife and I went to capitol Aito Credit to look for another vehicular for her and we found a Saturn outlook.We weren't there long and were take very good care of and not once did I feel that we were pushed into anything. Everyone we encountered we glad to help us and we're professional and friendly.Will definetly go back to capitol auto for our next vehical in the future.

This is a horrible place to but a car. Preditory loans on low quality cars that aren't worth half of the asking price. You end up paying $15000 for a $2000 car. STAY AWAY. They will call and harass every person you list as a reference. These type of establishment should be illegal.

Worst company I ve ever experienced. By far the worst place to purchase anything. Staff was extremely rude and harasses their customers for payment. Adam Fritz is ridiculously terrible at his job by providing misleading information and being extremely rude in a professional setting. This place is predatory and will take advantage of those struggling. Stay away from this place

Less than inadequate customer service. Travis is an extremely unreasonable person and unwilling to converse in a civil manner. They have no regard for the customer and each employee passes the blame to the other or puts it on the customer. The car they sold me died after 2 years of driving it. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE.

The service there is outstanding they took care of me after my warranty had expired. Jeff was very helpful and curdious. Tom at the shop in sun prairie took the time to get my vehicle straightened out and back to me very quickly!!Thanks again for the great service and being so humble!!!

The worst mistake I have made in a long time. My account manager which is Adam has thee worst attitude of anyone that I have experienced in a long time, they don t note any conversation on account like their supposed to and calls to threaten to take the piece of trash car anytime they can. I m counting down the months until I m done and will never get myself in a situation like this EVER again

This place is aweful.Stay far away. My account has been over drawn because of the banking system they use that has been taking out random payments. They always have you jump through hoops just to make payment as well. I swear I speak to 3 people just to talk to someone who knows anything. Please please please go elsewhere.Very unsatisfied.
