This was my first car buying experience. Of course I did my research ahead of time, and read nothing but positive reviews of this dealership. So, I went in, looking to test drive a 14 Civic. I knew a little what to expect, but still not all of what went into it.Even before I got there, Tim was very helpful in answering any questions and making sure he had everything prepared ahead of time that he could. When I got to the dealership, my dad and I met Tim and he was very informative about the vehicle. He had everything ready to go, and even popped the hood and the trunk for us to inspect it. He answered all of our questions , was very honest, and open the whole time.After I took it for a test drive, the purchasing process took less than an hour. There were no hidden fees or tricks associated with buying the car, and it was a very easy and painless process.Definitely recommend going here Tim was super helpful, and is an example of what all car dealers should be like! I love the Civic!

Bought a 2015 Toyota Prius from them. No hidden costs or surprises, just a straightforward and fair deal. The staff was genuinely helpful, especially Mike answering all my questions and guiding me through the process. It's refreshing to find a car dealer that's upfront and trustworthy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in search of a reliable and transparent dealership.

Just bought a 2015 dodge grand caravan from there. Worked with one of the owners was very honest and straightforward. Van was exactly as advertised price right below blue book low miles. Would definitely recommend this dealership and with check out what they have anytime I am looking for a car

Tim was amazing! Honest, helpful, patient. I bought a Honda Accord there. Exterior, interior, mechanically is top notch. He even met me @ my mechanic's Shop to have him check it out before I bought it. Beyond fair pricing too. I will Shop here again and recommend this place to my friends and family.

I have worked with Tim for several decades, to hear that he and his partner opened up a new auto dealership, was just the news I wanted to hear. I am a very happy return customer, who has had nothing but exceptional service with each and every auto purchased through Tim. He is a breath of fresh air when purchasing a new vehicle. I know I'm getting a quality product that has been thoroughly vetted with full disclosure. He listens carefully to what I'm looking for and makes professional recommendations on what is available or possible in the future. The application process, the financing through Summit Credit Union, and the closing process were seamless. Although, we had temporary internet issues (not related to the business), I was kept informed on adjustments to our appointments and I felt as if I was a priority. Follow up and continued service has always been easy, convenient and with integrity. Thank you Tim and Michael for the excellent auto purchase experience. 5 STARS! - No doubt!!

My almost-22 year old son was in need of his first car financed on his own. I did some research on local dealerships, and was impressed by the reviews of Apex Auto, so we decided to check out a few cars. Mike was very helpful in assisting my son through the entire process, and very patient with him while test driving and deciding on a vehicle. I d say Mike went above and beyond in helping us to make sure this car purchase was a great experience! I recommend Apex to anyone. And I ll return when I need to get my next vehicle. Bought a car from this place and we were in love with the car. Within 20k miles of having the car, the engine died and needed to be completely replaced. Said its going to take a month or 2 replace and have a 4 year old daughter to haul around in these cold months coming. Even worse is the 2 grand warranty we got upsold on by them only covers 5 days of rental which does us no good and things already tight, again on a car with less than 50k miles on it as well. Thought this was a family oriented business but this family certainly doesn't feel like it.

I'm from the Chicago suburbs but found a nice deal on Craigslist at Apex in Madison. Glad I made the trip up. They're a family operated business and are very fair and honest. The Mazda 5 I bought came with a nice 1 month, 30 day warranty. They're very friendly and I HIGHLY recommend anyone purchasing a car here. You won't be disappointed!

I can honestly say that I have never had a better experience purchasing a vehicle than I did through Apex Auto. Mike proved me wrong that all auto salespeople are the same. His no pressure, professional and friendly demeanor will always make Apex Auto my first stop when in the market for a vehicle.

Mike is awesome. He s real and he s humble. The vehicle I bought was priced perfectly when compared to others like it on the market - no need to attempt to haggle much on our behalf - what a stress reliever. He also took time to get to know us personally - we weren t just seen as dollar signs. We are grateful we didn t feel hassled or fed bs. It was a straight forward, fast and smooth transaction. Would recommend to everyone! Not to mention Jada was a family favorite! We still talk about her. :)

I can t even begin to express how wonderful Mike & Tim are! They truly care about what you re looking for, and keep your sincere interests at heart. From the test drive, to the financing, to the final deal it was the smoothest/nicest car buying experience I have ever had. My husband and I had a great buying experience at Apex Auto, from the first phone call to driving our new purchase off of the lot. Mike and Tim were both knowledgeable and professional. The car was exactly as described. I feel very strongly that we purchased a quality vehicle at a great price. It was definitely worth the drive from the Appleton area.

Quality selection of vehicles priced fairly.Even though I didn't end up getting a car due to the fact of my loan criteria set by my credit union, I was really impressed with the graciousness and integrity of Tim the dealer who was helping us out. He went out of his way to offer some tips as how to list our current vehicle when the time comes.So if you're looking for a clean reliable vehicle you should definitely make Apex Auto your first stop!

I had a great car buying experience with Apex, after some challenges that Mike had to sort out. In what was a very smooth transaction, I purchased a vehicle, but unfortunately it started giving some error codes. Mike took the car back and he and David troubleshot some things and replaced some parts. After still having some issues, Mike brought the vehicle to Honda to have it looked at and taken care of. Everything was done at no cost to me. On top of that all, Mike threw in an oil change and paid for license plate upgrade to the special plates I wanted. We encountered some hiccups, but overall it was great. I definitely recommend Apex!

Best experience I ve ever had at a dealership, by far!! Tim s super friendly and very easy to talk to, put me at ease right away. He s a genuinely decent guy who just happens to sell vehicles. As a single woman I used to dread going to any dealership for reasons most women will understand but not anymore, I ve found my dealer :) Buying from Tim will have you feeling excited and confident throughout the whole experience, even after you drive off in your new car .. how many dealers do that? Only one, this one. Stop by and talk to Tim (or Mike) if you don t believe me, you ll see what I m talking about. Thank you Tim (& Mike) for such a positive experience!

Life happensIn 2009 we bought a condo in Florida complete with a brand-new, light-blue metallic, Lexus RX 350. I loved that car. I was sure we d be driving it for at least the next twenty-five years. Then came Hurricane Ian.The Marco River broke over our sea wall and inundated the parking lot. Our darling had mud and salt water up to its steering wheel. Within hours, the leather seats had started to mold.I told myself it was only a car, but went into mourning anyway.We needed a replacement. My eighty-nine-year-old uncle who lives in the same building needed one even more than we did. Since thousands of people were in the same predicament, Florida was not the place to look.We had sheltered from the storm in Wisconsin. My husband got online and found a second-hand dealer in Madison who had an identical car to my uncle s lost one (also a Lexus, by the way: an ES 350 sedan). We decided to let no grass grow and headed there the very next day.The dealership was a small one, with only about fifteen cars in the lot. An office with adjacent garage stood in the middle of the space. As we turned into the driveway we saw a slim, tanned man in a track suit standing outside, talking on a cell phone. He was visibly distraught. My dog just got stolen, he said when we introduced ourselves. She s a miniature golden doodle, and I was taking care of her for friends. His eyes kept scanning the lot. She never leaves the office. I know she wouldn t run away. He put the cell phone in his pocket only to draw if out again immediately and check for messages. A few minutes ago, I walked out of the office with a client. When I came back she was gone. He scrolled down a few times, obviously finding nothing. There was this lady in a car. I thought she was waiting for me, but when I turned around again she was gone. Right after that I noticed Jada was missing. He had called the security company to get the camera footage, and the vet to activate Jada s microchip. Listen, I can t leave. He dug in his other pocket. Here are the keys to the Lexus. It s a good car. Take it for a ride. Don t you need a driver s license? I asked.He shook his head. No, I trust you. He turned back to his phone.We took off in the car, and after about two seconds decided it would be perfect for my uncle just like his old car, and very well-cared-for. Timothy was on the phone again when we got back, so we waved at him and then took a stroll around the lot.Another vehicle caught our eye, a dark gray Acura SUV. When Timothy re-surfaced we asked him about it. That one just came in, he said. I haven t even put it on the website yet. The speedometer read over 100,000 miles, but the car seemed to be in great shape. I ve still got some calls to make, Timothy said. Would you like another test-drive? It didn t take long for me to be certain. Just as the Lexus must have been waiting for my uncle, this car was meant for us. I could hardly breathe from excitement. My husband was helpless before the tide of my enthusiasm.We bought both vehicles. Timothy was still frazzled by Jada s disappearance and kept getting the Acura paperwork and keys mixed up with the Lexus. He didn t even ask for a deposit, just accepted a personal check for the Lexus no, the Acura and our promise of another as soon as the money could be transferred.Then his phone rang. Jada had been found twenty miles to the east, in the little town of Cottage Grove.A euphoric Timothy gave me a bear hug and took our picture standing next to the our Acura.I may never meet Jada, but will always have a soft spot for her in my heart.Life happens. Sometimes, what happens is nice.

While I had known exactly what make & model SUV I was looking for when I went to Apex Auto, working with Mike & Tim was like talking to friends, Not pushy sales! They worked with my budget & my trade in & I got exactly what I was looking for & more in my Nissan Murano! I noticed a license plate bulb out & Mike said to bring it in & they'd take care of it. I know I can count on them for future needs or direction for my vehicle & will be letting all my family & friends what a great place this was for their future vehicles! Thank you Mike & Tim for not being the big lot & pushy salesmen!

Mike, at Apex Auto, made buying a car so much easier and stress free than at the big dealerships. He went over the details of each vehicle that I text drove and then let me be. I drove a few from Apex, then drove several more at three other bigger dealerships. I was back and forth with Mike, but he was still patient and friendly through it all. In the end, we made our purchase with Mike and couldn't be happier. Mike went out of his way to please but wasn't a hound while doing so. I would highly recommend stopping at Apex Auto before going anywhere else!

Had a great experience picking out my exceptional Lexus with Michael McKinley at Apex. He was very kind and not afraid to fix any issues with the car. It needed new control arms and an oil pan due to a stripped plug. He had it all done within a day and had the car ready for cruising. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is, when I got the car inspected before I bought it, the outside mechanic found it had no engine coolant! Fluid levels are a pretty basic part of an inspection. Hopefully, in the future, their mechanic is as thorough as the rest of their staff.

I would definitely purchase another car from Apex auto. Here s a few reasons why. First of all, without asking for the car fax at all it was brought to us. That s a big deal to me. A customer likes to see what they are buying. We reviewed it and seen it had no accidents, and it wasn t owned by a dozen people before it came to be our new way of transportation. Second reason why, is because There was NOT a pushy salesman on the lot. They don t harass you and they allow you to decide on your own time. You make the decision. Not the salesman, and at apex you don t feel pressured to buy from them. My third reason, is the car was very clean. No dents. No smokers. And we were made aware of all the features of our new minivan which we love very dearly. We purchased a 2015 Toyota Sienna limited Premier from Apex. This is how a car buying experience should be, and I believe many dealerships in the Madison area could take a lesson from this. And when I mean many, I m talking about almost all of them. On our second day of owning it, we took the car out to rapid city South Dakota, and it ran beautifully. Thank you again Apex Auto for Crushing the competition on price, quality and the bringing back the car buying experience. You will definitely see us again very soon.

Highly recommend! I went to look at a vehicle and got all the information I wanted and then some with no hesitation. Very happy with how quick and smooth the process it was to trade in my old car and get into a new one. I normally get nervous about and shy away from small dealerships but this one was upkept nicely, had an impressive selection, and all the staff was super friendly! Thanks again for the Taurus!

I was recently in the market for a new used vehicle. The Apex team were pleasant and carefully explained the financial options available for me to utilize. During the entire process I felt like Apex truly valued me as a customer. A few days after I purchased my vehicle I noticed an unusual noise coming from my vehicle. I contacted Apex auto to inform them about the noise. The Apex team immediately repaired my vehicle free of charge. I truly believe Apex stands behind every vehicle they sale. I highly recommend Apex Auto Sales for anyone in the market looking for safe, reliable used vehicle.

Walked in just looking, walked out the next day with THE PERFECT VEHICLE! I couldn t be more happy with my selection, and the team was wonderful! I felt welcome to look at whatever vehicle I wanted, and Jayda the puppy was there to welcome us when we walked in the door! The building is absolutely beautiful, and very well set up! Bought multiple cars from Michael and when I found out he was at Apex Auto had to buy another one from him. Michael has always been an amazing help when I purchased cars in the past but the experience at Apex Auto was above and beyond .
