Mike s goes over and beyond a 5star rating! They provide excellent, professional customer service from start to finish. The staff are personable, caring and above all very proficient and knowledgeable in auto care and explain the service needed and provided every step of the way! Myself and my mom have used their services for several years and they have always provided top quality, trusted service! An honest, ethical and reputable service which can be hard to find these days!

Excellent customer service!! Especially to Josh & Andy! The whole team is amazing at Mike s Auto Repair. I have brought my vehicles to them the past 5/6 years and have never had a bad experience. The team is dependable, honest, and pricing is comparable in the area.

Service engine soon light came on. I pulled in and got amazing caring Service. I'm in from out of town and as a solo female driver these guys helped me out. They explained the code and told me it was safe to drive home safely and explained what parts I needed for my code. If I lived here I would have them work on my car. Very honest good mechanics. Thanks so much.

I'd been having recurring cylinder misfires for months. I'm no stranger to mechanical work and did everything I could think of to resolve but needed another eye on it. We're 40+ mins away from the nearest BMW garage so I found Mike's Auto which is within 10 minutes. They specialize in import repair according to their site so I brought it in for a diagnostic. I just needed to know what they thought caused it and could probably do the repair myself. I'd already done turbos, O2 sensors, ECU, throttle body, Vanos, etc.The guys were very accommodating but communication was poor, I had to call for any updates or to find out they needed me to authorize a repair. Three weeks and $1800 later I pick up the car and don't even make it a mile before all the misfires come right back. This, despite their assurances that it was test driven multiple times. Right back I go. A week later I was told a catalytic converter was plugged and causing faulty readings for air/fuel mix, creating misfires. It made sense, the tech even sent me a video showing his gauge reading. He was confident. Cats were about the only thing I hadn't changed. They estimated 8-9 hours book rate so I took it home and installed some brand new cats myself (3 hours real time.)Car made it several miles this time before the same error messages appeared. So, the diagnosis was still incorrect. I won't be bringing it back. The guys tried hard but it's clear they don't possess any specific import knowledge or experience that will help me out. I've wasted $1800 to get back where I was a month ago, but with a pair of shiny new cats now. Still debating what legal remedies there are for charging but failing to fix my car.They're probably fine doing standard work like suspension or oil leaks but anything more complex seems beyond them.

Let me say all the workers there are amazing, I went here with my dad! They are all great help but what does not sit right with me is the owner, Mike. He is so rude to his lovely staff. Both managers there are amazing though, love them! It sucks that such a great team has a bad owner.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO MIKE'S AUTO - SPRING 2023If I could give a negative rating to mikes auto repair I would. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. A standard radiator replacement was completely BOTCHED by the mechanic leaving (rookie mistake) the transmission on my wife's car permanently damaged($1515.37). Mikes AUTO conveniently came up with an excuse ; and I was offered no restitution for the botched repair job that ruined the transmission on the car. They still have not contacted me to resolve this terrible situation after numerous attempts to contact the owner mike seick and the initial visit to tell them of the problem where they admitted to making a mistake.TAKE YOUR CAR TO MIKES AUTO AT YOUR OWN PERIL.Check the reviews on other websites and the Better Business Bureau.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

very expense - looking to charge you a much as they can I bought the truck in for oil change and alignment -heres what happened $110 for and oil change that they quoted at $80 before I bought the truck in ( GMC dealer charges $80 and they wash your car). After letting them know I was charged more than quoted adjusted only to $92 not what they quoted. No alignment done because they wanted for front ball joints 30% higher than other shops ( over $1150).Recomended wiper blades $60 ( cost $25) Coolant service, Transmission service Drivetrain service all done to the truck in the past year over $900 unnecessary charges for work already done. I am sure they are good mechanics but price and service way out of line - I wasted my time but I wont waste my money too.

Took my car here while I was in town briefly because I had gotten a flat tire. Mike s team took my car in the shop instantly and fixed my flat tire immediately. No waiting, no headaches. We had our vacation in lake Geneva unfortunately we had a blinking check engine light. The team here understood that we were on vacation giving us a loaner and helping us get a tow truck to get her vehicle at the dealer so we could get our vehicle taken care of. They offered a loaner vehicle so our vacation was not ruined and told us to enjoy our time on the lake. My family was very grateful for their actions and how they helped us on our vacation. Would highly recommend the team at this location.

Every time we go to Mike s they treat us like family. They are always willing to help even in a pinch. We recently had a situation that required us to have our car looked at before leaving for the weekend. They were gracious enough to take a look right away giving us peace of mind for our road trip. I spoke with Josh on a Friday to check my wife's brakes, he was very pleasant and we arranged to drop off on Saturday morning, as they had several appointments already. By the time we were not far into our morning, he had gone over the car and provided an evaluation, then had the car done before noon - and less involved than I expected. Professional and friendly, just like the other reviews; we even mentioned what a pleasant experience that was. I will call them again for future automotive needs.Service: Brake service & repair

Visiting the area, 300 miles from home and the transmission service indicator light goes on in the car. We went to Mike s and had excellent service by Josh Brever, the manager and his service technician Andy. Our car has 255,000 miles and although they re diagnostics led to a recommendation of a new transmission, they suggested that we shop for a new car when we get home. They were also extremely reasonably for their time and effort. The honesty is refreshing! We also discussed reliable new car options, very helpful. These folks couldn t be nicer or more honest!Service: Transmission

They told me that my car needed an engine when car only needed a start relay and I sold me battery and starter and I had to pay 2 wrecker fee for no reason plus gave me an estimate for an engine for 7400 I am still confused as to how they diagnosed the issue as wanting a new engine I fix the car myself thanks to YouTube

I was in a pinch. My trailer tires were shot and I was ready to go on a five hour trip with the family to the North woods. I read the reviews on Mike s Auto and decided to give them a shot. Josh answered the phone and I immediately could tell he truly wanted to help. He even suggested the lower priced tire which he promptly ordered while still on the phone with me. We set up an appointment, and when I arrived the next day the tires were there and installed within 40 minutes while I waited. Not only the manager was exceptionally professional, but the workers were diligent and get it. It s not just lip service when they say that they treat you like family.Service: Tires

Too steep of a price for me to afford and when I drove off the lot it was in worse condition than when I brought it. I went somewhere else who fixed it better for cheaper. Staff was helpful for questions at least. Not going back though

Josh was very down to earth honest guy help me and my wife tremendously. Prices were reasonable affordable. We were stranded and needed a car the shop gave us a loaner car to help us get threw until our car from being repaired. I would highly recommend Mike's Auto Repair with their ASE Certified Mechanics that took great care of my car and diagnosis everything to make sure I was driving safely.Thanks again for everything you've guys done for me.Vince

I bring my 05 Honda civic in for oil changes, got new tires last summer. The guys are great, John is nice, I especially like Josh he's fair, honest, and trustworthy. INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful, I have never had such a positive experience with an auto repair service. Wife's car needed new brakes and was making an unknown noise. Brakes were repaired at a reasonable and competitive rate, and the noise issued was accurately diagnosed as well. Had the car back in less than 48 hours. We are now customers for life!

We always go to Mikes. As of lately both of our Chevys have completely run out of washer fluid. They say they check and top off fluids with each service. Washer fluid is not critical. Excellent Service all the way around. Was on vacation in Lake Geneva and needed a repair done to feel safe before driving home. Went to the Lake Geneva location and they fixed our car at a very reasonable price. Josh provided me with an honest assessment of what needed to be done and how long it might take. Being out of town, my main concern was the repair time draining our vacation time. These guys accommodated us with a loaner car so we didn't have to interrupt our vacation plans, and they promptly completed the repairs the next day after the parts came in. You usually don't consider an auto repair a "good experience" while on vacation, but their service and kindness to us is an exception to the rule. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Michael

They were able to look at my car right away which was nice but they are very overpriced, got the job done elsewhere for half the price. Quoted me on services I didn t need. Will not be returning.

Had the timing chain replacement on my Honda CRV. I was offered a courtesy ride back to my house. John comunicated with my throughout to diagnosis and repair process. They patiently answered all of my many questions. Good quality work at a fair price.Thank you gentleman! Car runs great! Staff was awesome. Was able todiagnose my vehicle on very short notice. Due to the issue they actually recommended I take it to the dealer. Gave me half price since he wasnt sure he could fix it. Turns out his diagnosis was completely accurate. He even called me a few days later to ask if he was correct so he could fix it in the future. Highly recommend them.
