Walked into get plastic clips for a plastic cover for undercarriage. The gentleman was unfriendly, he didn t greet me and when he walked over he sat down at the furtherest register from me and I wasn t sure what he was doing so I just followed him, it was like I was supposed to read his mind. He wasn t helpful and offered no further help or solutions.

Came in today for a battery test you would think I was killing the girl behind the counter ! Sorry I inconvenience you I'll go elsewhere. Sorry you had to put your dam phone down we all n3ed a job like that

Shout out to Advance Auto Parts, and in particular, Rudy at the Lake Geneva, Wi. store! Rudy was professional, knowledgeable and very pro-active to give advice to my "problem" with my vehicle - a check engine light illuminating. With Advance having the "FREE" diagnostic trouble code (DTC) scanner...Rudy quickly and responsibly shared the information as to what, and how, to take care of my car's issue. Thanks Rudy and, as I was recommended to go to your store - I will be returning the favor for others to stop into Lake Geneva's ONLY auto parts store, soon, too!!

Great customer service, we were trying to figure out which clips would work for our car panel and head to keep coming in and returning ones through trial and error. She was super helpful and nice and we finally found one that worked in the end!

We came here today to drop off some returns through UPS and to get some tools. We were met with a very rude man who seemed to only be concerned with the man in line before us. We spent 10 mins waiting for him while he and the customer just chatted at the counter. When we finally got up to the front, he seemed very bothered by the fact that we had multiple packages and were holding him up from chatting with the same guy as before. I thanked him, and he looks around me, says "thank YOU sir" to the guy behind us, completely ignoring me. I tell him i also wanted to buy some screwdrivers. He says "oh you want to make a purchse too?" As he sighs and begrudgingly signs into the system to check us out. Then when we leave, I say thank you again, and he ingores us once again, and waves the guy behind us over. Not that one customer really matters that much, but I will not be coming back here. I try to be very understanding generally and rarely write reviews unless the service was exeptionally good or bad.. but this interaction really bothered me.

The gentleman that helped me was very polite and helpful. He got my battery tested and a new one installed in about 20 minutes. Glad I got a new battery when I did, before it got cold out. But my battery light is still coming on occasionally, not sure why. All in all a good experience with this place.

Needed a wiper for my wife's car, so I stopped in. Bought a passenger side wiper, and they installed it. Great place.

on more than one occasion I have called to verify they have a part in stock and was told by an employee they did. just to drive over to the store and find out they don't have the item in stock (they'll order it and can have it there by that afternoon or the next morning) I've also heard the same complaint from other customers while in the store I used to shop at the store for the convenience it's only a few minutes from my house but I have since learned it's better and more cost-effective and less aggravation to drive 45 minutes two another auto parts store that's not advanced and actually get what I need the first time.

Went to buy wipers. They took the book away to look up part numbers. Only one person working couldn't keep up with small crowd but he tried his best, not faulting him. Recommended wiper blade needed for one of the cars.....they don't even carry the size yet it's on their website as available. Wasted 35 minutes without a purchase for either car.

I stopped in to Advance Auto Parts in Lake Geneva Wisconsin New Years Eve 2016 driving a car that had to be jumped to get into their lot.Andy from Advance Auto:- recommended 2 different batteries- installed the one I chose for free- cleaned out the battery compartment and cleaned corrosion off of the connectors- Hooked some contraption under my dash the preserved all of my radio and seat settings as he switched the battery.- Was very personable and pleasant.- Based on my general feeling that Andy had gone above and beyond, I tried paying him extra $$ and he refused to take the extra cash saying it was all part of the job.Later that night I was at a dinner party relaying how great the experience was and one of my friends piped up saying "I was just there yesterday and had the best parts experience of my life."

Horrible customer service. Not helpful, rude on the phone. The person who answered the phone couldn t understand what was being told to him. So had to repeat myself several times. They sold the wrong part and had an issue returning the item. Will never shop here again. I will definitely choose auto zone from now on. Better customer experience and more knowledgeable.

Eric was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I was traveling through the area and my boat trailer had a disc brake issue. Eric had great advice on fixing and even came out after he was done working and showed me how to fix. Thank you Advance Auto!

If I could do a no star I would! Worst experience ever! Never haver I ever felt this uncomfortable in a store. The employees had the worst attitude. Not sure if maybe because we weren't white. But wow the worst customer service ever. They were 3 employees working and none of them were able yo break a 100 dollar bill..it was a 30 dollar lght bub i was buying. NOT GOING THERE ANYMORE. Very disappointed that was my go to store auto shop I guess AUTO ZONE IT IS.

I work at the one in Racine and I used to live in lake geneva and today I decided to stop in and have them price me out an alternator. The lady behind the counter was kinda rude and kept talking down to me like I was a moron for wanting a certain alternator for my car and then she told me she won't sell it to me... Disappointed for sure

I'd rate them zero stars but then I couldn't warn you! Don't be fooled as I was that the 25% discount code that will pop up will work in the store! As I learned, the idea is customers self serve making their selections online, order and pay on line to 'earn' the discount, then pick up in store. I also learned after having a less than helpful, courteous interaction, ( with one of the 2 staff members present during my almost hour visit with no other customers throughout my entire visit), that the store staff is disincentivized to help you save online because those sales don't count toward their in store sales goals!Way to frustrate and annoy your customers Advanced Auto...never again for me!!!

Good service. Missing one detail : They don't have disposable funnels for those that would like to add oil to their engines and/or transmissions. Most gas stations do all the time and for no charge

Terrible business. I bought a Resistor for my Chevrolet truck and it had a limited life time warranty that should cover defect. After having to replace it 11 days after the first fault everything was great until today when i started my truck up and had no fan. I called at my lunch break only to get Tina. I explained the situation and after describing my last replacement and everything went back to working find after the exchange she tried to tell me I had to buy a new blower motor and a new resistor. A 30 sec google search will reveal that the Blower motor resistor is a Junk part that goes out consistently for mid2000s chevys. After getting to Advanced after work I had to deal with her trying to sell me on getting the blower motor when it was a 10 min exchange of the resistor and everything works fine.

This place has cheaper sparkplugs than home depot(This is better ) also the worker was nice

If you come here hopefully you don t have to deal with Blair. Definitely suggest going to the Delavan Store. Much nicer people

Always friendly outgoing staff. Had the check engine light come on and they came right out to check it. FREE told me what was wrong and what needed to be fixed/cleaned or filled.
