I find this sticker on this tool box that is sitting in your parking lot to be extremely unprofessional. A respectable place should have above average intellectual employees, not adolescent children. Furthermore, I brough my truck in on Saturday so they could get to it first thing Monday morning, like agreed upon, and here it is 1:45 in the afternoon and it's still not done. Not only that, but I called them before I even left home (over an hour away) & told them I'd be there. I have a load to pick up this evening and still have to have time to get my truck packed.

Came in for a service on my motor home. Was quoted 5-600 for a complete service engine and generator. Took them al.ost 4 hrs to do. Then they hit me with a bill for $819,99!! I refused to pay that much for a simple service. They dropped down to $732.09. Still high enough. Tech was taking way too much time to replace an air filter.

River States Truck and Trailer helped me out of a jam when I had a bearing and axle failure on my boat trailer coming back from vacation and 4 plus hours from home. I called and spoke with DuWayne Springer/ Service advisor foreman who assisted me with a tow referral and an overview of what needed to be repaired. On Monday Bob Miskanis who I believe is the shop foreman called me and updated me on repairs and lead times for parts which were lengthy, approx 40 days. Long story short we were able to find parts quicker and the repairs got done in a timely manner. Bob answered my e-mails and calls promptly. Bob and DuWayne as well as their service staff were courteous, responsive, and the quality of the repairs excellent. They all made a bad experience into a much more tolerable and excellent customer experience. Hats off to the entire staff behind the scenes that did my repairs and ultimately left me with a better product than I had. If your near Eau Claire and have a breakdown I highly recommend calling River States for your repairs if you re a trucker or just a guy that fishes and tows his boat around like me. Thanks River States.

GREAT PLACE GREAT PEOPLE!Kaitlyn (sp?) In parts is a consummate professional. She got exactly what I needed right away and the one thing they didn't have in stock she offered to see if any other dealers along my route would have it She is the epitome of Above and Beyond customer service. David and Jason in service are also wonderful. Along with being 2 handsome fellas they were both very friendly and helpful, solving my issues in no time at all. I will most definitely be doing business here again, and telling others about this place, solely based on the customer service I received from these 3 super stars.

Had a great experience, everyone was friendly and helpful. Brought my truck in Saturday morning with def issues, thinking it was going to be a long weekend in a hotel, but they got it in and fixed that day. They also took care of the recall issue. I highly recommend this dealership. Thanks guys for a great experience.

I worked for River States for several years and it was one of the best jobs I ever had. As a technician I learned so much from not only on the job experience but also paid training. They have some of the best technicians I've ever worked with.

I bought my truck from these guys and I always bring it here for maintenance and any repairs. It s a 2020 Freightlier. Since it was a new truck I didn t think I would have to still pay thousands every time I take it for maintenance. Guess what, I paid thousands. I wish I didn t buy their worthless extended warranty. My last visit I paid almost $2000 for PM service, alignment, and 2 shocks in the front and check if the seal on the right steer tire is leaking (just to check, not to fix). $1200 just for the labor. Scott, from service department, is the kind of guy who smiles while talking to you but talks about you behind your back. He gave me a discount of $300 for the filters that were included in the PM service(They were not supposed to charge me in the first place.) So in the end I had to pay $1700 which I still think it s too much for the work done. My previous maintenance appointment in December they held my truck for 3 weeks and charged me almost $3500 for I don t even know what. I bought the new truck from them , they already made money of off me, but they still charge me so much for maintenance. It s business as usual over here.

I've had my Sprinter serviced exclusively here for over 3 years. This place is a classic crapshoot. If you're lucky, you'll get a knowledgeable mechanic and a speedy repair. If not, you get a just graduated 'diesel mechanic' who will spend endless (expensive) hours trying to figure out your vehicle's problem. I was recently charged three hours labor for a diagnosis they didn't have the parts to fix. I then went to one of their other locations and an experienced mechanic gave me the same diagnosis in 20 minutes.I've had to instruct their rookie mechanics three times on how to reset my maintenance light. After having my fender severely scratched by one of their 'kids', I have to insist, each time, that they take measures to protect my paint surfaces.Early on, I had to return twice before I could convince their mechanics my hanger bearing was the cause of a howling noise AND then had to come back a third time because they didn't have the parts. Now, exactly 48K miles later, I'm back and they're replacing the same bloody bearing and, with a straight face, telling me this is common. It's factually not.At my last visit, the mechanic noted the diagnostic plug-in was broken. When I brought it to their attention that they were the only ones that have ever used that plug-in, I was told that I must have somehow broken it myself. I have no idea where the damn thing is.If you're a Sprinter owner, and in a jam, probably a good place to go. I would not encourage a long-term relationship.

This place really saved me @$$ couple days ago. I had a frozen valve on my trailer tandems. I went in to ask if they could help me and although they couldn't take me into the shop because they're extremely busy they were kind enough to lend me a propane torch so I could try to remedy the issue myself. They didn't have to do that but it was much appreciated. Thanks guys!

Ran into trouble with our sprinter van and Jon with the service department was very helpful with phone numbers and directions on the phone. When I did finally get to them they made sure that I was taken care of with a ride to the car rental place. Cliff even stayed with me there to make sure the car was actually available for me. They truly went above and beyond for a stranded driver. Would recommend them for your repair needs!

Took my 2002 Fleetwood RV in for an electrical issue. Two weeks later I was told it is too old, and not worth repairing. When I went to pick it up, I was charged over $1000 with no resolution on the electrical problem. I took it home and started digging into it. I found electrical schematics on line, and resolved the issue in about two hours. I just wish they would have told me they didn't want to work on it before I spent a grand.

These people ripped me off. They first said they could fix my Motorhome AC in a couple days. I took it Diesel Bus to them on a Thursday. I informed them on Friday when they were having trouble finding parts, that they should not take anything apart unless you are sure you can get parts and fix by Tuesday next week. I was in town/WI from Texas. On Tuesday /due date, it was going to be Wednesday, then Thursday, Friday, etc.. On Saturday, 9 Hotel days later, it was still not fixed.. and I said.. Just give me my Motorhome back. They said it was apart and I needed to wait.. They were not to take apart without ensuring they could fix with parts.. Anyway, after taking 60 minutes to put back together, they wanted to charge me 9 hours of labor to do nothing but put back together.. I complained, Service Mgr said not getting Motorhome without paying at least 6 hours of labor. This is ridiculous, even if you assume 1 hour to diagnose, the MOST I should have been charged is 2 hours. NEVER EVER Deal with these dishonest people that continued to lead me on. I was out over $900 for them to do Nothing, and I ended up spending another $1300 for Motel room.

They did a fantastic job with the Cascadia I'm in. Had it looked at twice by two other places who couldn't get it right. Hopefully third time's the charm as the old saying goes. They have a nice upstairs drivers lounge while you're waiting. Steve the service writer had me wrote up, in a bay, and out in just a few hours

I have had a few dealings with this company. They way over charged a job that should have been done in half the time. The best part is I had told them exactly where the problem was it was one connection on a jake brake cylinoid. Them clowns charged me $1000 to fix one connector. On top of that they couldn't even install the valve cover back on right. I had to miss a half day of work the next day because I had blow by coming back in the cab. Got that fixed now it just leakes oil. Iwould not recommend this place to anyone. Before the "owner" comments back on here trying to make this place sound good I had told them my concerns they didnt care they were just too busy trying to run with the money.

Called in on the morning of the 13 of October 2018. Spoke to Jon Heinz, he listened and he was professional. He asked me to bring in my truck because they didn't have a mobile unit. When I got there he remembered me and made me feel at home. And my mechanic is amazing he spotted some noise in the engine and was going to look at it. Love this place already

I have to thank Andrew and the rest of the team at River States. Recently worked through a purchase of Sprinters and a Freightliner box truck. Andrew was very focused on the business needs and answered every question we had. He went above and beyond for us and couldn't ask for more. I would highly recommend not only their products and service, but Andrew as well as a great sales contact!

They replaced the water pump on my freightliner in a timely manner. Kevin gave me a ride in their shuttle to and from hotel. Very friendly crew. Will definitely come here for future repairs when in the area.

DONT GO ANYWHERE BUT TIVER STATES!!!I have never written a review for a Freightliner ever because none deserved one. I Had my clutch go out on my 2013 Cascadia. Brought it to River States because they had amazing reviews. THEY BACKED UP THOSE REVIEWS! It was about 10:00am by the time I finally arrived. They told me it would be about 2 hours before they could diagnose my truck because the transmission mechanic was finishing up another project. 45 minutes later they had my truck in the bay. Discussed with the service writer to have my clutch, shift fork, and rear main seal replaced and to have my flywheel re-finished. They told me the parts would be in around 1:00pm the next afternoon, and the truck would be done later the next evening. Booked a room at the Baymont 1.2 miles away. They offered to take me but I decided to walk. The next morning around 12:00pm I arrived again at River States. Travis the service writer met me with a smile and a good morning Spencer. I mentioned that since it was still so early they probably had no updates. He corrected me that the tech dis-assembled the transmission last night had already finished with the fly wheel, the parts were in and he was assembling my transmission. I went to the drivers lounge and fell asleep. At 2:15pm I awoke and looked outside. My truck was in the parking lot. I went downstairs and Travis told me the tech was just finishing up the paperwork. I left River States at 3:30pm HOURS before I thought I would. Hands down the best Freightliner dealership in the country as far as service!!! If you have a breakdown in that area and can make it to River States don't hesitate. Get there!

We had then adjust the brakes and to have our RV dealership readjust. Generator coolant cap not missing but needed an o ring replacement. Initial inspection done but nothing fixed until second visit. Shame shame.
