Helpful staff who listened to us and worked with us to find the perfect car. Shout out to Casey M. for being so kind to explain to us all the benefits, features and packages of the vehicles we were interested in before finding the right one. Was truly the best customer experience! Would definitely work with him again on finding our new vehicle.

I am very happy with my new (used) car I just bought from them. Brady (the salesman) was absolutely amazing in helping me through the entire process. The entire team was awesome with getting the lowest possible rates for me. This team definitely cares for the people purchasing vehicles from them. THANK YOU DAHL!!

I'm a repeat customer. You cannot beat the attached dog park... I mean what better place to go! I was casually looking for a bigger SUV for my expanding dog family, went in for an oil change on my Outback, and came home with an Ascent. All the while, my two pups played in the dog park. The salesman we had, Casey M, was so nice. He was kind and patient. The manager was wonderful and came out to talk to us. The finance guy was funny. All the staff we interacted with were kind and approachable people.Definitely 100% in customer service!

Alex provided great service in buying my new Subaru forester! Very friendly and helpful! He even gave me a chew toy Subaru for my dog that she loves. I appreciate Alex for the time he took to answer my questions and timely responses to my messages. I would buy another car from him. My dog appreciated them being dog friendly and having a fenced-in area just for dogs. I ve never seen that at a dealership before.

VERY pleased with the car I recently purchased! Alexis, the salesman, was FANTASTIC! He went out of his way to give me and my son a great deal on the car we purchased plus filled the car up with gas and a free oil change for in the future! I highly recommend this dealership and highly recommend Alexis for your salesman!

We had a problem with our battery that was still under warranty and they replaced it with a big better battery for free. Then we had a problem with our oil pan that was taken care of less than 2 years ago. They replaced it for free. They must have done something wrong, as we lost all the oil out of the car into our garage. I called them and they are sending a technician to clean it up. So appreciative for an honest and fair place! Thanks Dahl Subaru.

Awful! Bought a 2021 Audi Q3, which leaked horrible on day 3 when it rained. Had it in 8 times and they kept saying it was fixed. After 5 months I demanded they trade, they offered $13k less than I paid. Traded me for a nice Volvo but again I had an issue. A few days after purchase my oil light came on and leaked oil everywhere. I had to have it towed and the oil plug was stripped and put back in. I wrote a letter but no one responded. Heath is really nice as a salesman. Never paid the $250 it cost to. Would never go back....shady!!

Horrible customer service. Got a vehicle with financing just to have car issues within 2 blocks. Tried to continuously sell me this car with issues finally got it cancelled just to find out when I Tried to get a new loan it shows the dahl loan is still open. Now trying to get a simple document showing its closed and I'm getting the third degree. I've had 10 calls in and some texts and voicemails with no response.

I cannot honestly recommend this place to go to for servicingMy daughter has a 2015 Subaru Forrester that has parasitic battery drain issues and I wanted her to go to a Subaru dealership to see if they can address the issueThis was the second brand new battery installed on vehicleThe last battery was the strongest one you could buy for AGM at a known battery storeI had my daughter take it to the battery store and they tested it and said it was fine no issues they checked the charger system as wellThe 2nd battery was only two weeks oldI figured the best thing to do is have an actual Subaru dealership check for the parasitic drain issuesI called the closest supposed Subaru dealership in her area and spoke to the service manager KevinHe was very abrasive and did not let me finish talking. He just said you can t listen to battery store places you need to bring it to a Subaru place to let them check things. he definitely was not professional and needed to take a class on how to talk to CustomersThe funny thing is, I was trying to tell him that s why I m calling youThe battery place actually recommended Having a dealership checking out battery drain issueI asked specifically to have them do a parasitic battery drain check on my daughters carI asked how much will this cost and he said there won t be any charge just show upHe also said his technicians are all very smart and know exactly what parasite drain test is and what to look for on a draining batterySo my daughter took the vehicle thereA little anxious as this is the first time she went to a dealership or a repair shop on her own with car problemsI told her to specifically tell the technician that you re here to have a parasitic battery drain testThe service person that greeted my daughter said I don t know what that is..But took her car and two hours later they came up to her and said, you have a bad batteryMy daughter called me stressed out saying we just paid several hundred dollars for a new car battery why are they saying it s bad?I was getting stressed out as I knew the battery was fine it was something wrong with the car not the batteryThey wanted her to buy a new car battery but the technician said they would test her alternator to be safeI called back to talk to the service manager, but Kevin was out of the office that day and it took several phone calls to get it live personThey have a very annoying automated phone systemI ended up talking to someone named Kaitlyn and she explained that if a battery is not up to par, it cannot be tested properly for parasite drainBut she would investigate and would talk to my daughterAnother hour and a half later they told her they did the wrong kind of battery test reason why it failedWe got the impression they re not very skilled trained techniciansThey then told her she needed to keep the car there overnight for testing?Unfortunately, she had An appointment she had to go to and not able to leave the car there3 1/2 hours later of her time, lost with nothing accomplishedThe service team needs a little more training it looks likeMy daughter was getting stressed out there because she was sitting next to other customers that stated they brought their car here and now we re having more problems than they started with. One of them was very upsetAs I noted earlier I honestly cannot recommend this place and would advise try some other Subaru dealership or a skilled repair shopWill be bringing it to a dealership that knows about parasitic drain testIt is also confusing about this Subaru place as the receipt said Dahl automotiveNot Subaru DahlOn the battery test receipt it showed Subaru DahlOn the invoice receipt, it showed Dahl automobile not Subaru with different addressWhen I called to ask about that after her experience why there are two company names in different addresses listed, they said we are a franchise Makes me wonder how new they are for being a Subaru Service center*************update to last post . Check your tire pressure after visit ! Way too high on daughter car

I was very pleased with my experience at Subaru. Alex was wonderful with helping me find my first new car. He was informative about the different types of Subaru's and explaining the kinds of packages that comes with the car. Danielle the manager was very sweet and kind. She was able to break down the details with my questions regarding my car. I am glad to have taken home my Subaru Outback. Thank you for a great experience!

A little expensive, but was treated very well. 2 hour wait for oil change. They say they give preference to Subaru owners... which is everyone there. Purchased my Legacy here last year. Okay experience overall.

These guys at Dahl did an awesome job for me today in the Service Department. An unexpected glitch came up in my Outback. They had me fixed and out the door quickly. I am very happy with Dahl Subaru.

We had such a wonderful experience at this dealership. Ken our salesperson was top notch-excellent! He was so kind, great customer service skills, very professional yet personable. Danielle the financial gal was super sweet & easy to work with. She explained everything thoroughly. One of the managers came out & personally thanked us for driving down from the twin cities to buy our car. It was worth our time, a great dealership, no pressures, & besides it s a beautiful drive! Thank you all for an overall great experience.

We were treated great from the second we stepped out of our vehicle. We told them our price range and the mileage we wanted. We ended up with a low mileage vehicle and within our budget.

I fully accept and admit that I made a terrible decision buying the car I bought from Dahl Subaru. Thing is, NOBODY should have bought that car, because it never should have ended up on their lot to begin with. Again, my fault; buyer beware. Fine. But putting an obvious lemon on your lot, selling it 'as-is' with "no safety issues" (lie) and an immediate need for several thousands of dollars worth of complicated repairs, just because you know there's a sucker out there who will buy it, seems a little scum-baggy. It's my fault. I bought it, but Dahl facilitated a situation where SOMEONE was going to get hung out to dry on this thing, and they damn well knew it.

Out of town buyers beware!! Made an appt for early am on a Monday and asked dealership to call me at end of business Saturday to verify that the Subaru was still available. Call received and appointment verified Saturday. Left at 6am Monday for the nearly 4 hour drive to Dahl Subaru and upon arrival saw our name on a display board with our appt time listed. We were then told that they sold the Crosstrek on Saturday and it was the only one they had in stock. My wife and I took vacation time to drive there to purchase and spent nearly 8 hours total in the car. Wasted time, gas and mileage that should have been avoided with someone simply verifying that the car was actually available at the end of business Saturday. What did they offer for our trouble? An apology and a $25 gas card. Can't leave zero stars so they received one. That one star can represent Heather in customer care who responded with a phone call within minutes of my initial online inquiry and set up but was not responsible for the Saturday call.

I brought my Subaru here after my dashboard lit up. When they diagnosed the issue, they sent a document with their quote. They quoted a part price for 1200 dollars. This part could be found for 700 dollars online at a different Subaru dealership. The moral of the story is to make sure to do your research before you are taken advantage of by predatory employees and businesses whose first concern is maximizing profits at the expense of their customers.

Bought a 2023 outback. Alex was great to work with and very informative on all the upgrades on the car. The bad was lied to about the financing rate. When I filled out the credit application on line Dahl said your approved over the car at the best financial rate she said 3.9% or 4.9%.. keep in mind my wife's score is 800 and mine was 765. Then when were getting ready to close it raised up to 6.9%. Had my credit union run what I could of got the car for could of got the car for 4.5% through my credit union. Also I should of did some research before buying there rust protection spray its pretty much worth less after reading the reviews on it. Advise get everything in righting first and do research on product they sell. Definitely will be refinancing in about 6 months.

My wife and I just leased a Subaru Outback from Dahl and we were extremely unhappy with the experience. After test driving a Forester and Outback, we preferred the Outback. Before moving forward, I made it clear that I wanted to keep my monthly payment under $400/month.The salesman, Alex, walked away to run the numbers and came back with a monthly payment of $417. Since we liked the car, and that number was close, we decided to go forward and sign. However, shortly after signing, Alex showed us "optional" protection plans that would have bumped up the payment, which was obviously not going to work for us.Then before we sat with the financing person, I reiterated my need to keep the payment where it was and asked if I would be getting upsold again? He said we wouldn't.But sure enough, only minutes later, we're sitting with the financing person who shows me another sheet with "options" that would push the payment up (to above $500/month)After twice stating her "obligation" to sell us these "options", she was incredulous when we declined, which showed she knew nothing about our situation. So then we're left with the feeling that we couldn't get everything we might have wanted and needed without our monthly payment exceeding our budget, which is not a fun customer experience.I have NO PROBLEM with upsells, they are a part of doing business. The problem is that the 2 departments - sales and financing - are basically 2 separate processes that don't share important info until after you've signed the dotted line, when they should be collaborating to deliver the customer a car and options they will be happy with!Looking back on what I could have done differently to get our payment under budget, I would have had to lie to the salesman about my target payment so that I'd have room to consider the add-ons with the financing person, which is ridiculous!I'm sure the dealership is happy because they got their sale, but their archaic and shortsighted sales process just costed them a lifetime customer! At the end of our lease, we'll turn in the car, and never buy from this dealership againIf you are in the market for a new car or lease, I highly recommend that you look somewhere else!

Salesman Alex sold me a car that never existed! I had one picked out in Appleton and asked if they could drive it down here. I was told to cancel my order in Appleton and they would sell me one here. After a few weeks of waiting for a car to come in ,I tried to contact Alex but he would not return my calls. Don t trust this place. Don t trust this salesman. After reading Dahl s response, I called White Bear lake Subaru. Seth found one of two vehicles in the country within two hours. I will be picking it up next week.

Felt very pressured by the sales associate. I made a follow up appointment for the vehicle I was interested in, I arrived to the appointment and the sale associate I had the appointment was with another customer. Had to wait and when he finally came to talk to me he told me the vehicle I was interested in was sold and told me that s why I was telling you to put a deposit down . He could have called to let me know the vehicle sold instead of making me waste my time. To top it off he tried pushing another vehicle on me that was $10k more than the vehicle I was interested in, all while working on his computer to finish a deal with another customer.

Very upset with the front desk personnel, especially Michelle Oldenburg. Told the car was going to take attention most 3 days. After 3 rays the car had not moved from the parking lot. She was on the phone for 15 minutes and never acknowledged we were there. She got snotty with us a1nd said "well I said it would take 3 days, and we haven't even gotten the parts yet!" Very rude and unprofessional. We took the car out of the parking lot.

I highly recommend working with Ken if you are searching for a vehicle. When arriving I was uncertain of make and model, but knew features that I wanted. Ken used this information to provide me a variety of options. He was very knowledgeable and informative with all the vehicles we looked at. He also provided additional research that was extremely helpful when comparing all of my options. He located the vehicle I wanted very quickly and helped me through the entire process.

Overall they do a pretty good job. It's hard to find somewhere you can trust to work on your car. I trust Subaru for the most part but they did charge my Mom for a cabin filter replacement that they did NOT replace. Shortly after they did it my Mom complained of a smell when on defrost, she thought maybe they didn't really replace the filter. Well she thought right because they didn't, I pulled the filter and it was obviously not replaced within the last year.Check your air filter and cabin filter if they charge you for replacement. I find it hard to believe it was a mistake, when these people are trained they are taught to only mark things off AFTER they are completed to prevent things like this from happening. I'm guessing they didn't have one in stock and just blew hers out with an air compressor and still charged her the $40-$50. It didn't have any debri in it but it was filthy dirty.
