Friend's car got winched out and towed last night. Driver quoted him $260 for it, with no additional fees as long as the car got picked up today. Went in to pay and some guy came up and said the driver didn't quote us right, bumped the charge up to $460, and told the cashier to make sure to add the charge for using a card to pay. Craig's towing will not honor their word and will nickel and dime you. Enjoy the extra $200, you've lost at least two customers for life and I'll make sure to recommend anyone in the area to call elsewhere first. Dishonest business practice.Edited to respond to Owner:Not everyone has roadside assistance, the extra $200 that was never mentioned can make or break people. If you give someone a price, you stick by it. You don't hit them with extra fees the day after to make a quick buck.

Employees here are extremely nice and helpful, and it is very easy to get a hold of them if you need to communicate with them. I needed quite a few repairs to my car, but I was able to get my car the same day I dropped it off - highly recommend!

Had a flashing check engine light. Didn't want to take a risk with driving it home. Craig's Towing was sent out for my claim. Took about 10-15 minutes for them to get to me. My driver, Robert, was a genuinely nice guy and helped me get home with my car safely. Fast and Friendly service.

It was a few months ago when I got my car towed, but the dispatcher was friendly, I couldn t explain where I was at, due to being new in La Crosse, but she was able to help me describe the area over the phone. When the tow did find me, the driver let me sit and stay in the tow truck so I wouldn t be out in the cold, while he did everything and drove me home. Fast service & friendly service!

Craig's was really disappointing. My friend and I needed a tow, and we called for a tow at 10am on a Monday. They told us that it would be a few hours before the tow was able to meet us at his car. A day and a half later and we still haven't heard from them about when they are going to go get the car. We did call once to check when the tow would get there, and they said 2-4 hours. Never got a call in that time frame, and it is now the next day. Still haven't received a call. We cancelled the service and called a different towing company.

Fast and friendly service! The driver Perry went above and beyond to assist me! They provided top of the line service at fair price. Used Craig s Towing through AAA. The wait time was next to nothing. Andrew, the driver, was kind and straight forward. He took care of business and was on his way towing the vehicle in just minutes. Positive experience.

Had a flat tire not too far from the shop and Craig's was able to fit us in and change the tire within 10 minutes of calling. They gave us a basically brand new winter tire for a great deal and had things done very fast.

On Tuesday 12/5/23 I was traveling on N53 just outside OnalaskaMy car displayed the PSI count on my rear right tire was rapidly decreasing. I pulled over as much as I could off the highway and never having experienced a flat tire or calling AAA the experience worked flawless. I called AAA and they took care of the rest. They contacted Craigs Towing who showed up in 30 minutes and put on my donut spare tire. Jeremiah from Craigs explained everything he was going to do before he started and through the whole process. I was very nervous not knowing what to expect but he definitely put me at ease, he couldn't of done anything different. Thank you Jeremiah for making me feel safe and getting me back on the road as quick as you did and answering my many questions.I would highly recommend Craigs.Thank You

Needed a tow on a cold Saturday morning, and Nick from Craig s River City in LaX took good care of me! Prompt, professional service, and Nick took good care loading and securing our family vehicle for the safe long haul home! Kevin was great! He got our car to where it needed to go. We called late in the night after dealing with unhelpful staff at AAA. Jamie took our call, answered all our questions, and was very helpful and informative. They had Kevin out early the next morning who drove our car to the dealership. Absolutely horrible service. Over 24 hours later still waiting for my tow after being advised multiple times it would only be several hours. At one point I was waiting 6 hours for the tow only to have to just call for my own ride. This is not the first time they have left me waiting. I have tried reaching out to get updates as we need the vehicle only to be given rude remarks or told they'll call me back never to do so.

I cannot say enough good things about this business and the people who work there. They were extremely helpful and went above and beyond the normal duties. Place a joke..they wanted 6 grand to fix my mother in laws car and they screwed up the tow to winona. We went boondock...way under half the price craigs wanted n fixed right. Craigs are losers n take advantage of women n they make sure you keep coming back...complete idiots n no car knowledgeDont ever go there. Born n raised in detroit car industry...i can assure you they are scammers

Had a great experience with this company and working with Robert Pendzinski he came to my house and had my vehicle loaded up immediately ot was a fast and easy job he was very polite we got along pretty well next time I need help I know who to call thanks Robert Pendzinski and the best part was that he message me that my vehicle was dropped off

Horrible! Tried to tell us they didn t do more damage to our vehicle when they did. Since we had before photos and after they towed photos. And you can clearly see that they did damage. Then proceeded to scream at us. Expensive! Worst customer service!

My useless insurance company couldn t help me remove a stripped lug nut to change my tire so I m calling tow trucks left and right on Sunday evening looking for anyone that can simply show up and remove it! Rowchell answers the phone and hears me out, goes and tells the guys and Perry decides to come help me. Problem was taken care of within 40min of initial contact with Craig s after being in the area for hours trying to get help. THANK YOU!!!!Service: Tire change

My vehicle was towed and money was stolen. I called and spoke to a woman in the office who stated that drivers don t have the capability to enter locked vehicles. I asked if they do lock out service and she said no. A quick google search said otherwise. That blatant lie was my deciding factor to file a police report; which stated the driver admitted to entering the vehicle twice, to put it into neutral/ park. I Ccap d the driver and there are two other cases of theft (among other things) from this year alone. The only things I can say for certain about this company is that they hire thieves, and lie. If this has happened to you, I urge you to file a police report as well.

From my initial call for help for roadside assistance, to assessment of what I needed to get safely home (220 miles away) and providing parts and service, they were professional, honest, and courteous in every way. My girlfriend was in an accident back in 2014. They weren't on police week. Yet, they still came and got her car. The guys are always busy and to think they should drop everything and come to you. Think about how silly that is. They do it as fast as they can. They are in the middle of something, they can't just drop what they're doing for you. If they did that, that would mean they could just drop you wherever if another call came in. You have to realize, they are doing their jobs and they have to finish before they can get to the next one. Everyone thinks that they're the only one in that situation. You're not, there are many every where. Give them a break. They care about you and your business as much as the last persons. Like I said, they can't just drop everything in the middle of something for anyone. They go to a call and are committed to it until finished.

I had an issue with my battery and needed assistance right away. Craig's Towing was able to fit me in right away and get me back on the road quickly. They were very courteous and professional. I feel like they rake people through the coals especially college kids. We used them last year and I was not impressed as they replaced a lot when I had my mechanic back home not needed ended with 1,000.00. Then my daughter not knowing my disappointment in them the first go around took their car to them. Customer service was wonderful when I called but asked them to look at the engine light. Was quoted 340.00 and maybe another 50-60 for another sensor if it needed they would let me know. Nothing and ended with 460.00. Would not recommend.

Car just broke down on my way home from work today, luckily I was just down the street from my house. Called my roadside assistance and was able to get towed through Craig s towing. Called them and despite being in the middle of shift change over they were very professional and picked me up in a very timely matter. Absolutely would recommend to anyone! Craigs showed up in 30 minutes and had me towed to my destination. John was a great driver and has a clear passion for his job can t thank him enough for making light of the situation. Fast, friendly, and affordable.
