My family and I are moving from Illinois to Wisconsin. I m not familiar with the areas and picked K O Knapp location for its raving reviews. After driving 6hrs to get to Wisconsin with a trailer full of stuff we arrived at our freshly rented storage unit. Which was absolutely trashed with other peoples things. Including mice traps and poison. When my husband attempted to call the office during their posted hours we were also not able to reach anyone. Now after driving 6hrs we are unable to empty our uhaul after being out over $100 in start up/new lock fees. And are also unaware of if or when we will even be able to obtain a clean storage unit due to no answer from the office .

I am very pleased with your storage facility. The unit I have is in the open where I can easily access it and bring my car right to it without blocking any other units. My unit also has a side door. Thanks so much for all your help in getting this unit for me.

Worst place to ever rent from, if you can find some where else to keep your items do it! They raise the rent all the time like four times a year very over charged and lie to their customers. Do not rent from them!

They are a wonderful and large place. Storage units are clean, large with high roofs and they have concrete floors. Large gravel parking lot makes maneuvering large trucks easy. Customer service is outstanding for the account set up, inquiries, as well as closing the account. By far, they're one of the best companies I've dealt with in any industry in recent years.

I have a storage here and it's wonderful. They send a reminder to let you know ahead of time to pay your next month and they are always so helpful. I've been there for 2 years almost 3. The only thing that sucks is that in the winter time you get plowed in, so bring a shovel. But other than that the location is great here in knapp and the accessibility to get in and out is so good.

I want to give a huge thank you to Barry at KO storage. He has been so kind, and helpful during a long stressful situation at KO storage. My issue has been happening since November of 2022. He has taken the time to assist me in getting the situation fixed once and for all. Barry you have restored my faith in this company. Thank you for that. The amount of stress that you have relieved for me is priceless... Thank you so much for going above and beyond for me...

Had a guy name Sam, while giving my D.L. # -- he wouldn't let me continue w/ numbers and spelled my email wrong, he was way to much in a hurry, needs to wait until person is done, before saying anything...Had storage units from other places, feel this took to long.

I have a unit here and it's pretty quiet for the most part. Never had an issue with management either. I do know they are strict on payments but it's understandable. Not a lot of storage available around here for the price it's 100% worth every penny

Update- still been a customer longer than they have owned this facility and finally got some quality help. Kenya & Maibel deserve raises, they are key assets to KO Storage AND the ONLY reason I am still a customer! They showed me kindness and compassion to which some of their coworkers should take note!

I was happy with KO till winter came. I've been stuck out there on the built up ice. Has costed me $140 to get out. The worse was about 6-8" of ice built up on my door. Took me two days to chip the ice away to get into my unit.I've attempted to call and speak with the supervisors multiple times and I've yet been able to file a complaint.

The facility manager kat is a wonderful person. She went above and beyond to help with accommodating my storage needs. She is so friendly and committed to her job and customer service. I would recommend KO storage in Knapp Wisconsin to anyone with any storage needs! She is a definite irreplaceable asset to the company.

I only rented for 4 months. The sign up process was easy, the staff, especially Jason, who helped with move out, were nice and helpful. I will use them again if I need future storage.

The young man that helped me today was very patient, patient, knowledgeable, and understanding and outstanding while helping me today. I appreciate everything he helped me with and make everything clear to me if I didn t understand something, he also made sure I knew all the rules and information I needed before renting a unit.

Extremely difficult to work with this company because there is no reliable way to reach them; their website is broken, they have no working email address (when they email something and you click REPLY, it bounces back from a NO-REPLY address), when trying to mail things to their physical address - mail comes back as "No such number - unable to forward" - and they require you to use an online website which does not allow a means of uploading documents that they require for proof of insurance. KO Storage bought out the Knapp facility - and I had great relations with the previous owner, but this has been an ongoing very challenging experience. The only reason I am still a customer is because it is the closest self-storage in my area.

Rent has gone up almost $20 a month since the previous owner. No difference to the facility. Why am I having to pay more for the exact same unit?????
