On November 20, 2023 I called Bowe's Performance Driveline for an estimate for replacing a transmission. I was quoted $1,000 to remove and replace a transmission and I would be required to supply the transmission. I was told he would be able to complete it the beginning of December. I was told it would take 2-3 days. He indicated the warranty would be for labor only for 12,000 miles or 12 months. The vehicle was towed to n166 Boltonville Rd, Kewaskum, WI 53040. The following weeks I called repeatedly to get status of my vehicle and then I proceeded to send texts, which he finally answered January 4, 2024. He indicated he was out of state and his guys were going to start on it the that Tuesday but indicated the tow truck driver that delivered it a month earlier did not leave the keys in it. I called AAA and they indicated they did in fact deliver the vehicle with the key. A replacement key was delivered January 5, 2024. On January 9, Kyle stated the transmission was in, but did not work properly. I was able to get a replacement transmission and delivered it to Kyle in person. He stated he would work on it in a couple days. Weeks passed with no calls or texts returned from Kyle. On Wednesday, February 7, I sent a text stating I was going to be picking up my vehicle, which was still not completed. He stated the balance was $1,000, but was going to complete it the following Friday, February 9. On Friday February 9, Kyle called and stated my vehicle was complete and ready to pick up but needed to be "programmed" by a dealership and I was responsible for getting it there and paying the dealership to do that. I stated that was not what we agreed to and asked how he was able to get the vehicle running before with the first transmission not being programmed. He stated he could switch parts from one transmission to the next and he would have it complete on Monday, February 12. Kyle called and began swearing and stated "the transmission is junk and whoever took it out didn't know what the hell they were doing" yet he preceded to install it knowing the condition of the transmission prior to putting it in. On Wednesday February 21, I received a text from the salvage yard stating they did not feel the transmissions were defective. I was given a month to return both transmissions to the salvage yard for the chance I would be reimbursed. I spoke on the phone with Kyle on February 21, told him what the salvage yard stated. He disagreed with their assessment and I asked if he would remove the transmission, indicated where the problem areas were from the removal by the salvage yard so I could take it to them to show them the problem. He stated he would remove it, yet, then again for several days he would not return texts when I asked for an update 2/23, 3/1, 3/2, and 3/4 Kyle sent text stating the bill is now $2,000 and the transmission still is not removed or replaced or fixed. He then sent a text stating the bill was now $2,000- a price I never agreed to, especially when it is very likely he caused extensive damage to the vehicle as a result of poor workmanship.

Had the pinion bearing and related components replaced on the rear end of my 09 Dodge Ram 1500. They were prompt, price was fair and were very easy to work with.
