Jenny and everyone at Velasquez and Sons are awesome and very patient. They did an amazing job relating information to me about everything that need to be fixed to be safe to drive. And things that could wait a little bit. Had my car back within a day. Definitely my new go to place for both my vehicles. Also I feel like the have very fair prices.

The muffler rusted thru on my truck all of the sudden and it sounded like an Army tank. The very next day I called and talked to Esteban - super friendly guy. He got me in right away, hooked me up with a new muffler at a very fair price. I think I may have found a new shop for my truck. They also do mechanical work and brakes!

They Crashed my car and was expecting me to still pay. Who does something like that and don't tell you how the crash happened. Pissed! I recommend everyone take there services somewhere else. If you don't believe me go on there lot and see what they did. Ford taurus grey still sitting in lot. Bumper destroyed and hanging off. And they say it's drivable and you want me to take your word. Great work on my exhaust system on my 300C got rid of resonators and swapped my mufflers with Super 10 exhaust on my Hemi and now is loud as I want and going back for more common replacement part issues. Recommend to all great prices friendly staff.

I been a customer for 2 years and been witness so much hate tours me because I am black! The head mechanic Dustin has been so rude tours me, he looks upset when he sees me always tells me he doesn t have time for my car, he always answers fast about a price over charging, the young Hispanic girl is more nicer she helps me with anything I need that s the only reason I still go there cause I trust the other mechanic and the younger girl!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto battery replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Brakes

I called and spoke with Oscar to get an estimate for the complete exhaust on my car. I was advised to stop in as he would need to see what was needed before he could give an accurate estimate. Today (Tuesday) I went in after I got out of work, I arrived approximately 45 minutes before their closing time. Oscar looked at my car, and gave a quote that was one third what I had been given by a garage that didn't normally work on mufflers. Obviously I was pleased! Since it was close to closing, I asked if they could take my car in on Thursday as I needed to make arrangements to get to work, and he surprised me again and said he could fix it right away! It took a little over an hour and I left with a car that didn't sound like a dragster! I'm guessing this probably isn't the usual turnover for service, I certainly didn't expect it, but it was refreshing to find people who remained so nice in spite of the fact that squeezing me in at the last minute kept them from leaving work at the scheduled close time. Thank you, again. I would definitely recommend this shop: excellent service, reasonable price, and friendly staff!

Love this place! Dustin and staff are great. They do great work. Efficient and prompt. Also as an native lineage, Spanish speaking, Philadelphia born, former U.S. Marine, I LOVE the interaction. OOH, RAH!Upon my firsthand observation, those unsatisfied with this establishment s work have other issues. I brought my Jeep in to get the muffler repaired and although there were 3 other customers waiting, they were able to start working on my vehicle right away. They showed me what was wrong with it and explained what needed to be done. They also provided me with a price before I agreed to the repairs, which was very inexpensive. It only took 45 minutes for them to fix my Jeep, and they provided a 1 year warranty. I couldn't be happier! :)

In under an hour, they gave me a free estimate, sleeved and rehung my exhaust, and were done. Great efficient service, good price, GREAT place! Their location in Round Lake is equally awesome! Great job guys!

they tried to get more money out of us.don't come here! they will tell you things that are not necessary. they wanted to cut into my car because the studs are seized. no they are not i jsut took them off!! physically check before you give me quote!! i didnt ask what needed to be done i asked to do something because i don't have the tools nor space for it!! we all have to be educated on book time and auto mechanics so we dont get cheated

Waste of time. Called in advance for a brake job. Asked to verify that they could get to my car that day and got a yes. I drove my car there, left it, and walked to work. 4 hours later I had to call them cuz they did not call me. The lady said they were just getting to my car. They called 20 mins later and said it was gonna be almost 600 (590.80) AND I would have to bring my car back the next day. What was the point of dropping it off if they couldn't get to it? Why did the mechanic lie and say he could get it? All I know is I'm never going there again unless I'm ready to waste time again.Service: Brakes

These guys did really good work on my Outlander. They had multiple check engine light codes, properly fixed all of them and at a cost efficient price. Very friendly, gave me a long lost uncle vibe.

They give honest prices and fixed what i needed every time. Including the power steering pump leak that no one could find. I have also had my catalytic converter, tire rods, and more replaced ny them with no issues. I plan on going in today for some regular maintenance and fluids.

This place is aweful! I went in hoping they would install my new exhaust for me and they told me it didn't look like the pieces would fit. They charged me $180 just to tell me they pieces probably won't fit but they didn't even attempt to install my exhaust. I went home and did it myself and everything fit perfectly. I will be bringing my lawyer in to ensure I get my money back for the work they didn't even try to do. Never going here for anything!

If i could give them a negative 5 star I would! Beware of these guys. I am a retired ASE mechanic. I took my car in for an alignment special and they charged me for the alignment and told me they could not do the job because i needed tie rods and ball joints for $1200.00 By the way my car needed none of that. You should have seen the mechanics face wheno told him so. These guys give mechanics a bad name! Be warned!

If I was able to give no stars then I would.. just a terrible place, lying mechanics and lying receptionists. I dropped of my car and after 6 hours to do 1 hr of work, my car ran worse then when i dropped it off. So i took it back and told them yall did something wrong, these dummies were trying to convince me that it always ran like that it's not our fault, after clearly letting them know they liars, he says oh yeah ok your right we can fix it, we have to run test, I said fine do you, (knowing it was going to snow and be cold) i just didnt want to be stranded, so here we are 5 days later and people, they haven't even touched my car, then got mad cause I told them I'm going to another shop... Dont WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE

If you care about your car, avoid this place like the plague.They don't just over charge for basic services, they are unable to do them correctly. My trusted mechanic told me never to go there again; they destroyed my rotors and brakes and even put them on the wrong way. He was shocked.
