I bought a used but still under warranty JD lawn tractor. Michael was the salesman, and Paul helped me learn the machine. The price was fair, their communication on warranty was clear. Hands down the best mower I have ever owned. Excellent buying experience. Thanks!

They were very helpful. Fixed my pull-cord in one day on my auger. I took it home and installed it. The cord works fine but I can't get it started. It looks like I'll have to take it in for them to do a tune up.

After an employee made us aware that this business was inflating the price on the repair bill on my bobcat. And we spent over $2,000 I was left with a bobcat worst then it went in. The owner happens to racially attract its clients and not try to slice problems by escalating the problem in front of other customers. The solution from him was to sue them .. absolutely terrible.

In my 50 years on earth, this is by far and away my worst experience within service. I figured out that the "C" in Highway C stands for Crooks because that is precisely what they are. They lie and manipulate behind any place I have ever seen. I will take my vehicle in the backyard and start it on fire before returning to Highway Crooks. I purchased my Gator from them years ago and took it in for what they said was a $400 repair, and they charged me $2800 with no call or option of service. Add in that once I called them on this manipulation, they lied several times, saying the service wasn't done, and then made up multiple stories on how they offered me money for the vehicle. When I asked for it in writing, they refused to give it to me in writing and then lied again about the offer. At this point, if you give them your business, you are an idiot and deserve to get ripped off.

Do not recommend this place. We had our x730 in to have an oil change and a brake lever fixed and it came back and the steering wheel was nearly broke off it wobbles and makes it hard to drive. We have been calling for two months trying to get it fixed but they keep giving us the ring around. Spend your money elsewhere and save yourself the headache

Jimmy the mechanic is the yoda of small engines! Great service and great attitude. Always has a minute when I get stuck with a small engine problem. He is invaluable to Highway C.

Absolutely disgusted by the manner in which this business treats its clients. As someone who has previously referred individuals to this place, moving forward I WILL NOT. After a few months, I recently went back in to take one of my machines and will NEVER return. I witnessed their receptionist (Karen) act racist towards an older Hispanic male. And especially shameful to hear her repeatedly tell him that she could not understand him. His English was more than understandable as I could understand absolutely everything and I m sure others present in the room could as well. For racism to still be existent in 2023 is absolutely unacceptable. I will make sure that everyone who I have previously referred know not to EVER EVER support a racist place like this.

Today, I called Hwy C to check if they had an oil filter and air filter in stock for my John Deere.Person on the phone said that he would check later on and send me a "quote" in the email. I didn't even provide him with my email !?!What kinda of business gives quotes to purchase an air and oil filter? I needed those today, not 10 days from now and obviously won't get a quote because sales person never collected my email. And why email? Why not just take my phone number and call me back if you're busy?Terrible, terrible customer service. I will take my business somewhere else including my company's business.

On my way home from work, wanted to grab some touch up paint, fluid film, a spinner knob, and check pricing on a 10P dump cart. Grabbed everything I needed, and stood by the parts counter to pay. I wanted to support local, instead of big box. Parts guy walked up frustrated, and told me " you are just gonna have to wait". He was kinda stomping around. I was exhausted, and not I. The mood so I put all the products back where they went, and left. Lowes here I come.

Today i went to pick up 2 of my bobcat mini skip steers thinking I would get professional mantinence and first they Over filled the oil and then they didn't even check the anti freeze level which it was low so I'm very disappointed and I do not recommend this place for bobcat service.

Have purchased many a Stihl product from them. Great dealer with knowledgeable staff. They Always have a good selection in stock and can get in anything you like within a few days. They also maintain a great selection of parts for the brands they carry which makes for quick repairs.

One of the best places to get parts for tons of different small engine products. They also sell and service tons of equipment too and at great prices! We need to support places like this and not shop online as much! Nothing beats having a part in stock at a good price right when you need it and having knowledgeable and friendly sales and service people to help you with any questions or anything like that!

Called for help with a new Snapper mower and Sue was very helpful even though I had not used them this time to purchase. She said I needed to bring in so they could peruse. Always have received excellent service from them. They years ago even gave our grandson a giant stuffed bear.

I went to the parts department once to buy a specific oil for my John Deere. They didn't have it, so I asked the man behind the counter if what they had was compatible. He just looked at me, shrugged his shoulders, acted irritated and said "I dunno". I read the back of the bottle and saw that it was. Seemed like he could have done that.

I purchased a used 2018 2025r John Deere compact tractor from a private party. Paul from Highway C Service took the time to drive out to my residence and he showed me how everything worked on the tractor. I was impressed with how knowledgeable he was and how personable he was. I would certainly recommend Highway C Service based on my experience. Today I returned to Highway C Service to ask some additional questions about a 60 mowing deck and Paul took the time to not only give me pricing but he also took me outside and showed me how the mowing deckAttached and had me remove the mowing deck and connect it back up. I would highly recommend Not only Highway C Service for all your outdoor power equipment needs but more importantly I would suggest that you ask for Paul because he will spend whatever time that you need to become comfortable with how the equipment functions. Great Job Paul....

Stopped in looking for advice on a mowing tractor that could also till and move mulch/dirt. Paul recommended the 1025r and was very informative, answering all my questions. He showed the tractor and explained it's functions and capabilities. I thought it seemed a bit over kill for my purpose but after thinking it over and talking to Paul this made prefect sense.Paul delivered the tractor to my house and spent 90 minutes teaching me how to remove the loader, bucket, tiller and mowing deck. His instruction was fantastic as he demonstrated and explained every step then had me do the task multiple times. If your looking for a place to get good advise from a expert in tractors stop in and see Paul he is a great guy that knows tractors. He is not a salesman so don't expect any sales pitch or non-sense talk he just gives you the facts and gets right to the point. Guys like this are hard to find and I am glad he was there to help me with this tractor.

Nice place! I think family owned, likely. Bought a Bearcat chipper/shredder several years ago. They've always been very accommodating. Service is good, reasonable, competitive prices. Try them, you'll like them.

I picked up my rider today, 3 weeks later, they are a rip off. They charged $75 an hour plus the labor to remove and mounted new front tires. Huh? You just charged me $75 an hour labor and charged me an extra $28 in labor? Reply to me from Staff. Well they did have to mount the tires. I said, Never mind. So I paid the ramson to get my rider. Never again. Besides, they need a new phone system. You can in main number and get sent to parts and wait forever for them to pickup. I had to call back several times to finally speak to service.

Very disappointed and won't be returning. Mask mandate sign on the door, but the guy behind the counter wasn't wearing one. The only staff member who wasn't. Strike 1.Strike 2 - here's how the exchange went:Me: "Good morning how are you?"Him: "OK"Me: "I'm looking for a shear bolt for my XYZ snowblower"Him: "We don't stock that brand"Me: "OK, well for the last couple days I just used a 1/4 20 bolt just like this one *showed the bolt* so I'm sure anything this length and width will work"Him: *pushes packet of shear bolts over the counter*Him: "two""Is that a question? Yes, I believe that I would need two"Him: "OK"Not one more word as he took my card from my hard, swiped it, threw it back on the counter and then looked at me as if I had shot his dog as he folded the receipt. I've had better service in my 2 year old's imaginary grocery store and he can't even count or tell the difference between an apple and an orange.I can only assume this gentleman isn't the owner as I've heard great things about this place and there's no way it would still be around if he captained the ship.I won't be returning for small engine servicing and rental needs, because of such a poor experience buying $4 worth of bolts.

I just bought a new John Deere X350 here after looking at other places but for me, I wanted to purchase from the place that can repair it too. You May have to wait a bit for Service or someone to answer the phone but that is because that are so busy and good. Great place to buy and have equip repaired.

I have dealt with the father and now the sons over many years. Always helpful. I often get advice in a pinch. They are always aware of the latest part upgrades. I do recommend more phone lines, like the other reviewer. When the main phone line is busy, often several calls are required to get through.

Poor customer service, period. I learned why they always have a "Mechanic Wanted" sign out front. I took in a Echo weed trimmer and leaf blower to get tune ups, paid over $150 for parts and service only to find out they still didn't run properly. Brought them back in and they wanted more money to get them going, they blammed it on bad gas, gas they put in the units after repairs....I decided not to have any more work done and went to pick up units only to have a large box of parts handed back to me. No way to run a reputable business. Might as well shop the big box stores, at least you can return something that doesn't work there.

Parts guy very rude and disrespectful on phone! Canceled order and went through Mid-State Equipment - Salem much more friendly and treated me with respect. Mid-State will get my business from know on.

Dave and the guys there are top notch. They are going to guide you towards what fits your needs, not what they want to get rid of. The repair department also does a great job.
